hey ! guys, as i came to know that everyone is looking for the solution of unlocking, Galaxy s (sc-02b), and i think no one has ever found the solution for it, has anyone?????
but i think i had the better solution for it, and i am happy with it, it works great without any problem until now...........

no need to root or flash Galaxy s SC-02b to unlock
you do not need to flash or root Galaxy s SC-02b to unlock,
just dial this on. num keypad
*7465625*638*#
PERSONALIZATION MENU will appear,
then enter the MNC / NCC number, u like to lock the fone to,
MNC / NCC means the network code
then on Control Key box just type 8 0s.
hope this will help u , if need further help let me know, .......
i had read another thread by dagentooboy i think they are also having the same problem and the ultimate solution is this.... hey guys if u want try this solution, i know it will work for u too....
and finally i had read another thread by someone who had given the original firmware links and had some problem with identifying the sim card, i think this same solution will work for them too, and if it doesn`t then guys i can give u the next custom firmware that will work , if need help please let me know!!!!

then i put mmc/mnc = 50219 (for celcom malaysia)
control key = 00000000
now i can use sms n calling.
now in japan,so cannot test wether mms and internet is working or not.

actually in a way , you can say, it is the unlocking process, only the difference between this process and other unlocking process is that, in this process u have to put the carrier network code, other process is to disable the network code input on fone.......
and unlike other processes it is not risky, and i have locked my fone to 5 countries network right now..........
so try it , no need to afraid of anything......finally please kindly post your experience after trying, which will encourage others tooo.....

It works! omfg. Thank you alot. Call and SMS worked, data transfer not yet, but probably because of I haven't set up the APN.
And it still work with a docomo sim even after I locked it to an another carrier. No need to relock it to docomo or something.

Hi im really new at this i have a tilt with a 6.1 oem wm i understand from what i ve read that i need a 6.0 wm to be able to use all these programs that u guys use to to unlock the sim to be able to use any carrier but im just lost ive hacked and done alot of thing but this is just a little confusing i need someone to give me a start to finish, links all the package to what i need to do with my phone so it can accept any sim carrier and work thanks in advance to all that read and all that help

hello im user from sony xperi tipo, and i decide create this theard to try some help to me and my smartphone, i now many people are disgust to see people like me scream for help but i scream because this is my last recourse to get help, help in a way to UNLOCK my sim network. why a scream for help because i google it for a way to unlock it seem the only way is for code to a thir way industrie, and specially in my countrie to get a dollar is so difficult and hard.. the goberment dont give dollar to natural people like me.. even one dollar is a all 8hours of work, that is the think ... i create this theard to try in a last way to unlock my phone, with this i can update my xperia to cyanogemod kitkat vertion because the SONY never release one update the xperia tipo... this phone with 512mb of ram stay in 4.0.4 ICS for ever a ever because the sellfish company sony dont release even 1 update. im not trying to get sad or sadnes for my condition. only i scream for one piety soul help me to unlock my phone. thanks for read my theard.

You are in the wrong forum.
There is no Kit Kat rom for your phone.
Unlocking your phone has nothing to do with flashing a ROM unless you mean unlocking the bootloader.
That phone is really old. You are asking for a miracle. To be perfectly honest it doesn't even seem like you need Kit Kat, you simply want an update for your phone.
Go here to unlock the bootloader:

You will probably be able to update the phone to Jelly Bean but no further.

If you need a SIM unlock, that's a whole other issue.
Yes it have a kitkat unofficial CM 11 but I can't update because have the unlock allowed No, cause I have the SIM locked, see is a chain of sadness

There is still quite a bit of active development for the Xperia Tipo and yes, there are KitKat ROM's available for your phone. Have a look in the development section to find your preferred CM11 ROM here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-j-e/orig-development
Your SIM card is not the problem as SIM cards cannot be locked; instead SIM cards are just carrier specific cards that store your IMSI. What is locked is your phone in terms of the network it will work on. For example, if you're subscribed to T-Mobile, your phone is locked into their network and using other foreign network SIM cards will not work. If you would like your phone unlocked to use with different carriers, I would suggest asking your current carrier nicely for an unlock code or you can use the following service to see if they can unlock your phone: http://www.cellunlocker.net/
Note that having your phone locked DOES NOT mean you cannot flash a custom ROM, you in fact can. However, if you have your bootloader locked, this is different. You will need to unlock your bootloader first in order to install a custom ROM. There are a TON of tutorials on how to unlock the bootloader for the Xperia Tipo. See here: http://bit.ly/1k9mDtZ

Please help me, my phone is SONY XPERIA M2 DUAL ( D2302 MODEL)
After entering *#*#4636#*#* in my Sony Xperia m2 ,i selected phone information,pressed the 3 dots menu key on left of phone, than clicked "select radio band". In that there was only one option i.e "set gsm/umts band" which read "usa band".
I selected that and instantly lost network signal. I live in india and please help me friends.
Now i am not getting any signal. I tried to press the menu key again but it reads "usa band only".
Finally i also did factory reset, Pc compaction repair ,but still i could not get signal.
Please help me in this regard.
Still not have any solution for this, you should have to flash your framework again to fix it.

I've tried many popular apps like kingo root, king root and others with and without computer.
I'm doing this to bypass all the restrictions by AT&T. I can't share my Internet via hotspot, I can make calls using one network (ufone) while I can't make calls using another (Warid) but I can use Internet and 4g with it. Also I'm not able to run USSD codes which give me error message of "connection problem or invalid mmi code" if you guys don't know any way to root this device then please guide me on the issues that I mentioned. Any response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
