Nice to see more tegra games
Yeah, I was waiting for this one. Was due out in April and they pushed it into May. I thought "Bang Bang Racing THD" was coming out today (according to several blogs) so I checked the zone, and.. ..Bingo, Pinball was up.
I love the game, even though it FC'ed at the end of my second game with a really high score. Boooooooo.. ..still, it's a keeper.
What zone at you on about checking ,I seen in a video some cool looking games from I think NVIDIA but could find any download links

Same here was looking for Bang bang racing end up getting Pinball. Good game. Noticed that if i exit pinball it change my launcher (vtl) to the default launcher
Here's a tip to anyone running the game. I noticed it tends to FC if you're holding the tablet in portrait mode when a game ends and it wants to bring up the keyboard to enter your name. As a result, when I sink my last ball and realize the game is over, I switch to landscape mode quickly (before anything further happens). This method might not prevent every FC, but it did limit the ones I was getting significantly.
each high score gives a fc at the moment. Plays well though, very smooth and graphics are impressive.
Waiting for Bang Bang
Not experiencing any of these force closes. Works perfectly for me.

worth a try with £3.25 off!
sweet thanks for the heads up. Do you think we will be able to use the controls like the stock games use. I would really like to use the dpads and physicall buttons instead of on the screen

I have brothers in arms, modern combat, and N.O.V.A.2.
Nova2 is by far the best of the 3. the aiming with the right analog stickis a lot smoother, which takes a lot of the frustration out of the experience.

Anyone that suits your gaming needs really. They're all optumised for Tegra. Just download the Tegrazone app and take your pick. There's still not that many games available though.

Galaxy on Fire 2 is very good and very deep. If you like Elite-type games, it's a must buy. It's also a lot of fun if you just look at it as a 3d space shooter as there are lots of different weapons available. Finally, it is very pretty too.
If you're purely looking for impressive graphics, Riptide HD is probably the best.

That seems an arbitrary choice for what you take seriously. I'm now waiting for someone to come on here and say, "I can't take a space game seriously unless I am guaranteed to die and be buried decades before my virtual space ship completes its journey between two star systems".

Really? It bugged the **** out of me to be honest. The touch pad controls were way too jumpy to get a good shot off and I've only been able to play with auto-aim enabled (not why I bought a gaming phone)
Nova 3 also had abysmal touch pad control and required auto-aim IMO whereas Nova 2 got it perfect (as perfect as touch pad will ever be for me, I favor analog style).
Really? It bugged the **** out of me to be honest. The touch pad controls were way too jumpy to get a good shot off and I've only been able to play with auto-aim enabled (not why I bought a gaming phone).
I must add I've never expected XP's touchpads to be a substitute for real joysticks... IMO they work just OK in some games, and very poorly in other games.
I can live with that, but there is other thing that bugs me.. maybe it's for another thread but... I find Max Payne a shockingly disappointing game. I'm just at the beginning but...it's the whole game like this? Move from room to room, shoot some bad guys, advance the story a little bit, move to another room. Gosh this is boring. I will admit this is my first experience ever with the franchise so I did not know what exactly to expect. Bought it basically on hype and because it's made by R*, who made my beloved GTA 3.
Also how long is it? I'm not sure I won't be bored to tears mid-way although with these kinds of games (kinda movie-like experiences) I usually try to persevere and finish them. Sorry for derailing the thread.
Oh its completely about the story, the gameplay doesn't hold up particularly well and the concept of the game has been expanded upon so much over the years that its almost not worth a retread unless you are compelled to for nostalgia's sake. Max Payne 2 is actually a pretty great game even by today's standards but the first game feels very very old.

Ugh... thanks for that. Guess I still got 9mm with better graphics, better controls and online play... so I don't really have to be disappointed.
...at any rate, Gangstar Rio is actually kinda dope! Same for Virtua Tennis. I really want NOVA 3, but I'm debating whether I wanna put up with any more of Gameloft hogging space off our phones as "data".

Using ZergRush method, it will either work and root, or won't. In doing so, data, contacts and anything else won't be affected either way.
Root gives you the power to knacker your phone but if you're not an idiot and don't go deleting important system processes, you're safe.

Yeah so... I might be the only person here who's looking forward to this game. There's no official release date available yet, but Gameloft has announced that it will be available 'later this year' and will be on both iOS and Android.
From what I can tell it looks to be a city builder type game. Playing mini games to earn points, then using those points to buy houses, ponies, items...so on and so forth.
So my questions to you all is: Are you excited for this game? Do you think It'll satisfy My Little Pony fans? Will you be buying this? & If so how much are you willing to pay?
I personally think I will be a good game if they do 2 simple things. Listen to what the fans have to say, and have it reflect future episodes, meaning if new ponies make their appearance in season 3, I think Gameloft should add them into the game and to do as much as possible to have the game reflect the TV show. If they keep the updates coming this game should have some lasting appeal & replay value.
Check out the iPad game play demo and let me know what you think.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlBInHiJ-74
As a fellow brony, this excites me. /)
Like you said, as long as Gameloft listens to what the fans have to say. And of course new ponies and cannon names and the whatnot. And I hope that they include some of the maybe not so well known background ponies. Such as Lyra, Bon Bon, and Dr. Whooves, etc.. I'd probably pay anywhere between 5 and 10 dollars. Depending on how much content is actually in the game.
Possibly....even if I stopped watching it after season 2 episode 1....I still read the fanfics though lol.

Edit: just watched the video, no way will this run on her ****ty wildfire s
They could make great use of the Xperia Plays touch pads on this game, instead of touch swiping the screen to navigate you could just use the touch pads. And the mini games could make great use of the D-pad. The game has huge potential hopefully they put effort into this instead of just selling the name and making a quick buck.

The only 'major' issue I've come across is the inability to connect to Gameloft & stay connected.
It's a flaw in the game, I expect this to be fixed pretty soon considering most challenges have to do with connecting to gameloft and interacting with other ponies.
All in all a pretty good game tho, I've played it more than Halo 4 so far...

Not really, after you hit level 20 everything you need is pretty much there. I currently have 35,000+ bits right now and that number increases every 3 minutes or so. I've also done all the available 'challenges' for the time being (besides the GL ones obviously)
So yeah hopefully we'll see an update soon...

Aces
Asphalt 7 - Definitely one of my favorites
Blitz
Castle Clash - Spend way too much time on here. Somehow bugged my game though because nobody can attack my city/village or whatever you want to call it but I can attack anyone.
Coin Dozer - Has slow coin regeneration so when you're out of em you're kinda screwed for awhile. But you can advance your time on the phone and grant yourself more coins. Don't forget to set it back to your original time/timezone after though and rejoin the game otherwise your previous set time (say 3 days for example) will cause the game not to generate coins until 3 days have passed unless you join it and try to drop coins.
Fruit Ninja
Glow Hockey
Hill Climb Racing - Needs some more realistic updates. AKA Higher end vehicles aren't very good compared to the medium end vehicles. Dune Buggie is OP.
Jetpack Joyride
My Boy! - Dat emulator tho, GBA games for days
Paper Toss
Subway Surfer - 2.5Mil high score c;
Temple Run 2
Tetris
And Traffic Racer
ARC: Redux
Dungeon Hunter 4
Both impressive graphics. Smooth like butter in Moto X.

For the most part a game is a game on any device, but not all I guess since now some games don't work on certain phones. My favorite game for any device is Plague Inc. Most of the levels can be done the same way but they have thrown in some other types of games that change all of that. If you haven't tried it check it out. It's free but they sell add ons.

Horn is an amazingly graphical game that plays awesome. But sadly it doesn't support 4.3 so about halfway through the bugs get so bad the game is unplayable. If you can stay on 4.2 then you get to play nearly to the end but about 75% through the bugs start to show up again but not unplayable.

True. But it plays nicely on 4.4 (sadly just have finished), which is on your Moto X as well, I suppose. In this environment (I use ART, but it does not really matter) best game I've played in the last years, worth every penny!
I bought it for $7 first time it came out on my first gen Nexus7 and I didn't regret a penny. Plays beautifully.
