[Q] Unrooting question... - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

Is there an Odin flash to unroot my Samsung Galaxy S 4g? I'm new when it comes to rooting/unrooting phones. So if there's anyone that's able to assist me, I would appreciate it, thank you for your time!

no problem, anytime.

Tried unrooting with the Super One Click method and was unssuccessful...I checked other forums and ran across this explanation at this website http://forum.samdroid.net was able to unroot without the SuperOne click method...I didnt create this method but if anyone else benefits from this post, than I think thats great. And if I have not posted this currectly, I apologize, it was not my purpose to take credit from anyone else !

you can always update your phone through KIES if you had already unbricking it.

[Q] Help Rooting i747m!

Hello! This is my first time posting to a forum like this, hopefully I'm doing it right!
I have just gotten an S3 i747m to play with and cant seem to get it to root successfully
I have tried several times with the guides online, the actual root process works great, but when I use root checker it hangs up. Also there is no root access for apps.
I have read the forums and have seen most people root the S3 very easy. Has anyone come across this problem or have a fix for it?
I had no issues running odin, everything says that the root was a success, but when I check the phone I have no root access.
Any help in this regard would be appreciated thanks!!
I think you are in the wrong forum. The at&t forum is the one you want. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes always have been since day one. Why would you want to?
All you have to do is flash the firmware via odin
Have you already tried Superuser? I've never unrooted before, but its an option in the settings tab.
I actually figured it out you're right about downloading the firmware i was just asking to be sure cause i was scared to do it since this phone is still new and all and i didnt wanna brick it but thanks guys!
i only unrooted just to install 5.1.1. i feel so stupid for doing it now cause theres no root available

I think they mean to say he can't find the firmware for his phone. I personally haven't heard of Cspire so this may be why. The MetroPCS firmware took a while to be found. In any case, find your firmware HERE but I can't be sure it may be there. Good luck.
Stock Firmware

If your model number happens to be a SM-G930R7, I happened to find a working stock firmware to recover the OS back to working order. If you do have said model, I can set the files up somewhere for download and you just do the usual with Odin.
