Now I've searched around and I can't seem to find a way to apply a font. KD-Font doesn't have it on the server and the one other program I tried doesn't apply it properly. I've tried overwriting the font files in /Windows too. I've tried it in Android - it works perfectly. Is there any way to get this to work? (font attached to post)
Now I've looked at the process of CAB file making. Can a CAB file also modify system files?

It works, but only partially. Menus and stuff revert to some kind of system font and some things like input text boxes are in the style of my old font.
But it's further than I got
I just tried changing all the registry entries to the one font that changed and it doesn't work still.

This is a great aplication whit more of 100 fonts online, the problem is that only change the windows font but dont change the sense font and cht font. I think that the new version of sense an CHT have a differente direction of files ... you are a expert, is only a opinion. Can you see this software and see the solution for this problem ...

i install all fonts in my tp2, only Country_WM_Sense_Font.cab have problems, no change all fonts of my device, no change the bar font, and the list of install programa and other aplicaction, but the other fonts is ok.

Could you look into your windows folder and copy the .png files used for the keyboard? (the ones with "_inv" added to them)

I can find many "_inv" files under storage\windows\, is this the folder you refer to? and copy what file and to where?

I finally figure out what you mean, but I can't copy those "_inv" files from storage_ card_windows to storage_windows as the file in storage_windows is read only. what tool u used to do it (i am using resco explorer)?

I realized that if I install the program in device, the "-inv" should effect on storage_windows folder, so I try the older version and it works (the v1.1 is not working on my HD2) Thanks.

Nice work... working fine on my device with XannyTech Rom.
You want to make a few more versions now, with a different colour highlight in each one. A blue, red, green highlight etc. It'll match peoples themes then.

You should allways install this .cab into main memory, so it could overwrite the original files
It's odd the v1.1 isn't working for you...
Wich rom are you using? (is it Asian perhaps?)

I am using asia ROM v1.48. Just downloaded the v1.66 but contemplating to upgrade as v1.48 is fine with me as the moment. Beside I understand there is SMS font size issue on v1.66 ROM and don't recall to see any solution....

so here are just 4 icons that i made, i have being made almost all the stock icons , biside the custom ones. i made them 128x128 i dont know if is the right resolution or size, the resolution and size fo the icon is the same meaning?
and the kind of transparecy of the template i would like to see on my divice on the clock back gorund or tabs like calendar etc. but i dont know how to edit those files, i have 2 divice HD2 and i can make test with one fo them for all those test.

Copy the 2 files to \Windows folder and softreset.
You can use the fonts you like. Just rename the font file to typoclock.ttf and typoclockb.ttf and copy them to \Windows.

M8...fot some reason the widget can't find the fonts...
In this screenshot it use your defaults fonts.
Let take it from the begining..
1. Remove the widget from home screen.
2. Disable sense.
3. Delete any typoclock*.ttf files from you \Windows or \windows\font folder. If you cant softreset and retry.
4. Unistall widget from add/remove apps and softreset.
5. Copy the 2 fonts files form my post to \windows folder and Reinstall the cab.
6. softreset
7. Add the widget in home screen.
I hope this will work for you

I also installed some sun and moon mods from this thread

Hi, all ....this time I want to share my mClock skin for all of you.
mClock is one of the widget to customise n make your homescreen looking good....
For mClock, you can find in google play....
You can find many skin on the internet, but many of them has a larger size then LDPI devices.
This skin I made specially for LDPI device.

How to Install
1. Download n install mClock (you can find in google play)
2. Extract rar file
3. You'll find [rarname] folder n inside the folder there is some file with png, ttf and xml extension
4. Copy the folder to sdcard>mClock>[place folder here]
5. Go to Homescreen n add mClock widget, choose 4x2 size
6. you'll directly go to mClock setting
7. tap Xml template,
8. browse file with xml extension inside [rarname] folder
9. Press back, n then OK.....
*if you want to change the text color, open xml file with some text editor. change the hex value. ex : #ffffffff = white color. if you wan to change it to blue, just replace 6character from behind, like this #ff0000ff = blue color. you can find hex code from many app or website. just search in google.

Download some skin...
then open the folder. you'll find xml file there.
open it with notepad++....
after that you can edit that... like change bg image, font, or the other.
If you want to change the bg image, just change .png file on that folder... * remember to make the height below 320 n width below 240, because our phone is LDPI.
If you want to change the font, just copy the font to the folder, n edit xml file. replace all ttf name by the font name you've already copied before.
after that, copy entire folder to sdcard n apply.(just like you appy the other mclock skin)
for the position of the date,clock or day,... you can open xml file from your device by Text Edit app, play with top,left or margin number for every element....
if you want it, just try to post the xml file here n ask which part you don't understand....

3) Do you know how to make a backup of your phone ?

Yes i'm rooted.. And have TWRP recovery.. And have a backup of all my phone data and stock rom

Great, to proceed, please give me you framework-res.apk file and your SystemUI.apk file.
You have to install a root file explorer (I would advice MiXplorer that you can get on XDA Labs or APKMirror )
With the root file explorer, go to the root folder and browse to :
/system/priv-app/SystemUI and copy/paste every file in this folder to your documents folder
Then browse to /system/framework and copy/paste the framework-res.apk file to your documents folder.
Share those files with Dropbox or something other services

For sure I'll tell you the way, but if you're just a beginner, you'll be lost between the tone of files inside the SystemUI.
I need those files in order to point you the good line to modify (I'm making a tutorial on how to do it, I'll release it soon).
This research job is hard and you need to understand the xml code to be able to search for the files.
Here are my plans to make you improve and get some experience with what we call theming:
First I'll indicate you what to modify in the APK file, and I'll teach you how to use a tool called apktool (I assume you don't know what it is).
Then I'll point you some more advanced guides I made and that others users made that will allows you to face any modifications you want to do to your UI
Finally I'll release the guide on how to search for lines to modify and you'll be able to do pretty much everything you want (you'll always find something a bit difficult but that's how to improve.

Hi there, I'm sorry to tell you that but we can't actually theme huawei stock rom.
When I wanted to decompile your systemUI.apk file, apktool (the tool to use when you want to decompile an apk) gave me an error. I looked into it and it turn out that it was a known problem coming from huawei itself.

I still wanted to find a way but I found this thread, that confirms that we can't actually edit xml file from the huawei stock rom. But it gives you a tons of alternative, I think you'll learn more there :
