Can someone port that BX Destiny theme for our phone would be great
Did I catch you having fun? *slaps*
Link?

any pictures of the theme?
It's uploading...

Someone flash it and test it.
UPDATE: I flashed it. Everything worked like it should except for some text, aside from what can be changed in the Cyanogen settings, is black and needs to be changed to white. I honestly don't know how to do that... Maybe someone can enlighten me or they can do it themselves. Either way I'll be back on here tomorrow night around this time.
This is what the theme looks like:
http://downloadandroid.info/2010/08/android-bx-destiny-black-theme-for-cyanogenmod-v6/
I have run that theme since the 2.2 rom's came out. Just flash the rc3 version. It works fine.
On the nightlies or rc1?

Actually not every version works seamlessly with Heroc 2.2. If you are using Darch's RC1, try the BXN-Destiny_08152010 version. That was the one that worked for me.

I am not sure if I am looking in the right places but I can't seem to find one that will work with aospMod. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Nothing yet, hoever Kyle has done a good job on Warm 2.2. He has a lot of the GB elements incorporated.
Here is one that HackAHero made with the theme injector you can try out. I just got the link from him. I don't think he posted it here.

Did anyone try this yet? I'm interested in setting it up.
I'll install for the hell of it, but I need to know...do I need to wipe anything other than Dalvik to install it?
Wait a minute, 40MB? What is this thing? Is this the original Rom with a theme injected?

Havent looked at it, but I'd guess there are just a bunch of apps in it. The ROM is actually bigger than 40 MB, so it's not the whole ROM, probably themed apps.
I flashed HackAHero's theme and it looks pretty good w/ the exception of the black font on the black task bar. I'm not sure if it can be changed or not.

here is a quickfix i made for the black on black, you even get battery % with this one too
after you flash the theme boot in to it, then wipe dalvik and flash this from recovery
download with battery%here
download original fixed here
edit: i have not tested either of these but im 95% sure they will work without a hitch
i will look into fixing the original but this will do for now
Just flashed the theme and applied both fixes and they work great.
Thanks a lot.

yeah these work but they change the lock screen sliders and the network connection color. and the whole notification dropdown
I did the batt percent one and it changed the sliders to resemble those in the twopointtwo theme i think? and then the network bars and ev icon are white and no longer green.
anyone we can fix them to change only the text to white and not the other changes?

Not running a TW rom right now, but if i remember right, don't you just go to the app drawer and hit menu > view type and select alphabetical?

Attached is a flashable zip for AOSP messaging on CleanROM 6. May work on other MB1 roms but has only been tested on CleanROM.
Thanks loserskater for the mod found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2086834.

they are both for CleanRom, what;s the difference between the 2? and all functions work, pics send, group messaging, quick reply, etc? just trying to see before i check it out. Loserskater definitely did a nice easy write up on how to, but he even says it's only about 90% complete.... thanks!!!
One is AOSP, the other takes you back to TouchWiz original. I just changed the attachment method to include the name of the file, makes it more obvious.

Once you've loaded these AOSP mods, any AOSP mms should work. Try this:
EDIT - The link I included was ICS. DO a google search for inverted AOSP MMS

i noticed that right after i posted. i backup my secmms anyway, but good to know there is a fix here if needed instead of pulling it out of CR6.zip thanks for your work here. and there is an inverted one that works on CR6 by amiblindyet located here- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2133556. just choose the right one...
Time to reflash CR6. Thank you for this! :highfive:
Sorry for the potentially dumb question, but I've never used AOSP.... The thing I hate about TW MMS is that when a picture is received, it is always considered a slideshow. There is no way to expand or zoom the picture unless it is downloaded first, then opened through the gallery. "Go SMS" and "handcent", in contrast, let you directly zoom on the MMS pic. Will this solve the problem as well?
Thanks

Yes it does, that was actually one of the main reasons why I jumped messaging apps. I think you'll like it. I'm normally a TW guy but I definitely like what was done for this. Plus, it took care of that sluggishness that I had with the TW messager.

I've tested the group messaging through my sweetie's iPhone and it does work. I know that's a deal breaker for some. Works great! :victory:
I installed this ASOP zip (along with [APP] User Themeable Messaging +Quick Reply +Group Messaging +Emoji 4.2.2 (3/04/2013)) and the SMS seems fine but when I try and send a picture, I get "Unfortuantely, Messaging has stopped." Any ideas?
Edit: Okay, I reflashed the ASOP zip and now it works. Then I tried to theme it with the User Themeable Messaging and it won't work again.

I think the framework is different? Honestly I'm not 100% sure but I think each one is different.
It's gotta be the themes, cause this zip file works fine without the theme. But once I flash the blue/white TW theme, my MMS don't work anymore.
Would this work on cleanrom 5.6

I found with Andybones AOSP theme that you need to flash the theme before this. And if you want to flash a new or updated theme you need to flash back to the TW Mms App first. Flashing a theme over AOSP Mms was nothing but problems even with reflashing AOSP Mms afterwards.

Oh, I really wish I read this before flashing the Andybones theme... I had CR6R2 with the AOSP MMS, and flashed the AOSP Theme, and everything broke. I was getting constant com.android.phone and Messaging force closes and the phone was completely unstable. Even reflashing CleanROM and MMS again didn't fix it. Ended up having to wipe my phone and start over... Oh well. Lesson learned.
EDIT: I ended up trying what you stated by flashing Andybones theme before flashing the AOSP MMS, and still had the exact same issue. Constant Phone and Messaging force closes, and the phone's signal would disconnect constantly. Stock CleanROM with this MMS? Perfectly fine. Very strange... I realize this is two mods running at the same time and that can cause issues, but having Andybones theme with the stock AOSP MMS would be perfect!
I just tested this, and I can confirm it does work with my theme.
You must first flash my theme (reboot into the ROM..)
Then back into recovery to flash this MOD.
Thank you OP, works great!
To stormfreak.
flash the rom (reboot to rom)
reboot to recovery, flash my theme, wipe cache, dalvik (reboot back to rom)
reboot to recovery flash this mod, wipe cache, dalvik - Profit

Very strange indeed... I did exactly that, and had the issues I mentioned previously... I didn't flash any other mods either... I wonder if it's an app I have that is interfering somehow. Now I'm curious what my issue is.
