I'm rooted on my HTC inspire and got a update notification and I go to install update and screen goes blank, how do I upgrade with my rooted phone?

There is a thread on the very first page on this forum talking about it.

You will have to flash back to stock Rom . B/C the update will fail . I waited to get the update before I rooted .. if the update did go third you will lose root . Look at mudknot2005 guide .

Root and update

Sorry if this question is already up but I didn't see any like this so I was just wondering if I update my inspire 4g to the update in htc wifi update would it take away my root?

Most likely because official updates look for files on the target device to be identical to the files they are trying to update. If they find a discrepancy, they won't proceed to update the file.

Miui theme trouble

Having trouble installing thmes on miui themes .. Seems every time i download a zip theme file i dont know how to install it or do with it :/

On your phone open it up with file manager and rename it .mtz instead of .zip

Okaii got it but just 5 problem the theme didnt show up in the theme app :/ and i did as told

once you rename it click on it and it will open it up for you

New video chat.

I did the update bigtimmer rooted stock tmo rom, but the new video chat was not in the update. Where can I get it. Thanks for the help.

It is. tap on your name on top and check the box "available for video/voice chat".
Or go look in the tmo update zip file and the talk.apk is there.
