Hello. I started using Palringo. Everything is fine except push notification. I can receive messages only if app is open. When is on background or mobile is in standby i don't receiving any messages. I enabled notifications in Parlingo settings but this doesn't help..
Any advise?

I have searched high an low and no luck so far.
Managed to get my exchange server up and running with sp2, but have a small problem. When a new email arrives in my inbox, my jasjar will alert me of it and show on the today screen, but when it arrives in a sub folder of the inbox, no alert or showing on the today screen. Any idea if i have missed something ?
Any help would be appreciated and thanks beforehand.

I found a small work around. With VC 1.6 installed. It reads all incoming email, sms for you. Only thing you have to do is under the vc settings, messaging options, untick high priorty messages only.
Is there a why to stop it from reading my sms ?
I use c_shekhar 3.5c rom, all seems good, but used for some time, SMS DONOT alert automate after I turn the Hima off or the device timeout for off.
Then I check the entire software install processes, after installing a software, test the SMS auto alert. When done, SMS auto alert works fine.
Final, I setting up MMS, I am using China Mobile, I setting up GPRS and WAP connections, setting up MMS server, test it ok. At THIS TIME, SMS auto alert dead.
Somebody meet this situation......

Hi. I just switched over to the Palm Threaded SMS app, rather then using Windows 6.1 default sms/mms application. The Palm Threaded SMS app works great, other then one minor problem. When I receive an mms my phone connects to Media Net and downloads the message as its suppose to do, but then the phone stays connected to the Media Net network unless I manually disconnect it. Any ideas on how to get the phone to disconnect from media net once the message has been received? Thanks.
Since rooting my phone, I uninstalled the pre loaded messaging and replaced it with handcent sms so I could then group text.
But I cannot send or receive MMS ?
Can someone plz advise me of an app which can receive mms as a standalone or an app which will allow me to group text sms and send/receive MMS.

I ran into this myself, I had to repair using sepc companion, disable the auto recieve and notifications on the default messenger,

hi. i used the universal anderoot app to root my x10. 1st time of trying to send mms and won't work. it appears to try and send and if i left it it would prob go on forever. unrooted phone and still does't work. i have installed handsent but never unstalled original messsging. so if anyone can help that would be great.

I m on a the retail ROM FR 4.3 version.
I always use my phone on viber mode.
I m interesting with the viber only for SMS and calls.
Despite I uncheck the viber notification on several apps settings like K9 mail, Gmail, facebook... They are still vibrating when I receive a notification.
Is someone has the dame problem ?
And any idea to resolve it ?
