I'm new here and I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this but on my Inspire 4G gmail messages that are large I can't see. There is no way to scroll around to see the full message. I only see the left most part of the emails. This is especially difficult with HTML based messages that have images embedded.
Is there something I am doing wrong or a work around for this?

I am wondering.. i recieve quite a few emails throughout the day and at some point i like to go back to specific mail i recieved earlier and re-read it.. when i open the inbox to show all my mail, i am wondering if there was a way to change the way i view the actual inbox on my device? I am looking for something similar to the blackberry look where it only takes up one line instead of a few that way i can see more emails in the inbox without having to scroll down?
Thanks for any help.
i just looked through the menus and didn't see anything :\
Yeah unfortunately theres no option to change it.. I thought there may be some kind of tweak or hack that you can you perform to change it to some kind of list format
Email Inbox View
I heard there are alternative e-mail programs you can run on your device that will give you more of a " outlook feel ", with pre-view pane, etc
Anybody know what they are called and where to find them, I think something like that would solve everybodies problem
profimail and flexmail are 2 mail-clients i know. both are commercial but worth their price
my friend has a diamond on sprint and i saw his message box was sort of zoomed out and smaller. any idea on how to get something like that?
EDIT: FOUND IT! Go to start, settings, system, screen, text size and change the text size to make more emails show up in your inbox not a fix for the issue at hand but it made me happy
Does anyone know if its possible for the HTC email preview app to show messages as read in notification icon on bottom, once you flicked through messages - as its possible in SMS preview?
How stupid of HTC to have overlooked this !

Hear, hear! I agree totally. This drives me nuts.
Can't one of you modders or theme developers fix this, rather than just concentrating on re-jigging the home screen visuals??

Yes this was one of the features I was most happy about in my HTC S740 (with WM6.1). I was able to preview and dismiss individual e-mail notifications from both exchange and other e-mail accounts. And I was even able to tell notifications from Exchange apart from other Email accounts.
The HTC Sense is a huge step back here...
The small green circle in the bottom is only telling how many unread messages there are in my inboxes. Not useful - should have shown how many new mails which have not been previewed.
Anybody know of any notification application that might help?
I want one 2, to bad I aint a winmo developer:/.
I posted the same question here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=626627
Although its not fixed - there is a semi-decent solution available! Take a look

Yes it is a good try... but marking all emails as read will (in exchange) also mark the emails as read on the server. Other users with access to the same mailbox will accidentally believe, that someone is taking action on the "read"-marked mail.
And that includes me as well. Often I preview an email on the phone and then decides to not take action on it and wait until I am sitting with my work pc. If it is marked as read I could accidentally think, that I had already attended to the email.
WM 6.1 and WM 6.5 can natively dismiss new emails - but keep the emails unread. Why can't HTC Sense do that?
Sorry, search is down but I did read back about 10 pages. Got my TF all setup with my email, but I am not receiving my emails in HTML. Been looking around in the settings but haven't found it yet. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Are you sure you're not getting them in html? I thought I wasn't either, it was just pictures were not being shown by default. If you click "show pictures" at the top right of the email, the additional stuff is downloaded.
It's a bit annoying to do it on every email, but it hasn't annoyed me enough to look around the settings to see if showing the pictures can be enabled by default.
Im not sure if this has been asked and answered... My search of the nexus s forum didnt turn up much...
In google voice (where i've been receiving all of my voice and text messages) the same contact has multiple threads. It seems like each days text messages go into a new thread by default or something. Bottom line, to look at a previous day's messages i have to back out of the current days message thead and scroll down (through other contact's duplicated threads) and open the same contacts messages from a previous day.
In the default android messaging app all texts to a single contact are grouped together. google voice on the other hand makes going back through texts a pain. is there any way to make google voice text groupings behave like the stock android app?
sorry to reply to my own question.... >100 views, anyone have any ideas? is anyone with sprint even experiencing the same issue?
Yes, I am experiencing the same issue on my Nexus S on Sprint.

That's how they are grouped at voice.google.com too so I don't believe it's an app or a Sprint issue.
EDIT: Seems like it was designed that way, the reasons for which aren't clear:

I noticed the same thing. It gets kind of annoying but I just archive the old ones in case I need to go back for something. Would be nice to have one per person but perhaps it's to limit size?
Any resolution to this? I have gvoice on my HTC vision and it still seems to be creating multiple threads for the same contact (not 100% of the time, but often)
I'm a big twitter user and sadly i've not come across anything that cuts the mustard, perhaps I'm missing something.
The main features I want are.
Saves time line position
displays all unread tweets rather than leaving a big gap in time line
Push notifications
Image preview in time line
These are the main features I'm after and haven't found anything yet, anyone any ideas?
