Hi i have been wanting a Itunes remote android app on mob so found 2 diff ones and they both have the same issue they search for servers and cant find my wireless modem so i enter my ip address (which is used for remote file sharing apps ok and my mob wifi is connected to ok)
BUT says cant connect etc and im needing help please

you should download htc sync by yourself and when connect your phone to your pc, you should choose pc sync on your phone. hope it can help ~~

Htc sync? I have a nexus one and I've saw that it's not compatible.

HTC Synch has nothing to do with SSH. You must have an ssh app for android and ssh services running on pc. may need root as well, not 100 on that though anymore.
Something that is a little bit different, but may be of interest to you... You could always try out teamviewer? I use it on Windows and connect with my Sensation and it works a treat. Also has Linux support.
Unfortunately I cannot post links just yet, but just Google (or Bing ) 'teamviewer'.
Google "ssh passwordless login", then figure out how it applies to your software. My setup uses OpenSSH on both Androids and PCs; Dropbear and ConnectBot is also possible, as is a sshd for Android..

download sshdroid in your android, then use any SSH application on your PC.. (e.g. WinSCP)
To do this without entering a password, you would use an unprotected private key. I do not recommend this.
You'd also need to add the associated public key as an allowed key on the PC.

so you wanna remote control.. okay download teamviewer on your phone and download teamviewer to the pc you wanna control too.Install it and just copy the id and the password it gives you to your phone.Make sure that you got internet connection and the program auto starts in the other pc
Got a new Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 for Christmas and trying to connect it to my PC so I can watch my videos there. Complete ignorant on the topic... Apparently BubbleUPnP is this app that would let me do this. Had to install the server on the PC first. Did this, but after install I get an error message: ERROR: Cuannot connect. Check that the public host name is valid and that port 58050 is opened on your router. Tried to open a "virtual port" on my router without success. PC is Windows XP, using Google chrome as my browser. If anyone can enlight me, I would be most appreciative!!! I need clear, simple instructions... Please.

What appears is when i create the vpn its to only access internet while using the vpn network. I and my company have files autocad and ms office fikes, that i would like to access on my tab.can anyone provide insight to this would be very helpful and would be a selling poeint for the tab.

i'm using my hostel wifi and i think its ip protected, cuz we can connect it by only entering ip address manually
fb, youtube and some other sites are also banned as usual..
but in all my frnd's android phones, only uc, uc mini and opera are the only apps which can work on that wifi
mobogene also works well..
is there any way to access whatzapp and all apps through that wifi???
my phone is SGG(rooted)
i tried torproxy and drony but it didnt even work on that wifi..
