Anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong. But this leak seems to be a "Sprint" leak of the upcoming EVO3d, which compared to other sens 3.0 ports, this one will be sprint related and it contain wimax, which (crosses fingers) could allow us to have 4g!

Correct me if I'm wrong but if this ends up being the EVO3D rom as suspected, the 4G and the brightness issues will be fixed with this one
I'm interested to see how a developer can rearrange this rom to work on a non-qhd displays. Also I'm curious if 911Sn!pEr, just put the wrong picture or what, but the picture up for his leak I believe is a sensation. Anyway I am extremely excited about this one, but I have a feeling its going to be a long while before this becomes a daily driver! - ( The Evo 3D has a Dual Core 1.2ghz / 1gb ram. Our devices are about half so whether or not we'll be able to even run this is a mystery to me! )

i think the major difference and thats if he can get it to work will be 4g , seeing as it would be coming from a spring 4g phone

its closer to our device than the sensation so it will help with porting sense 3.0
its a evo 3d port so......4G GINGERBREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (hopefully)
and its 3d .....not sure if it helps or not but cool nonetheless

Yes it is one of the most stable and outstanding ROMS out today for the Droid X and I can't wait for 4.3 cause I know they are going to bring some new flavor and goodness to it as if it was not already sweet enough...

Second third fourth what ever this Rom is the cats azz I love it. Can't wait for the gingerbread flavor to be incorporated. To your question I believe since BB cooked it and he's mydroidworld I don't see him going around a lot. I think its more world of mouth that gets this Rom going.

Darkslide is awesome i have used it a while now as its the most stable rom and i have not had ANY and i do stress ANY problems with it ,,,,i have tried evey rom out and DS takes the cake,,,,heres a download link for you ,sorry to ramble lol

Really depends on what you want. Liberty is very empty on stock but very fast, DS is stocked with blur/ and minimal bloatware, very fast as well. It all depends on your flavor. I think liberty is great for a super modder/hacker, but DS is everyday fast and everyday stable for the everyday user

I have been running this ROM for a couple weeks now and I have yet to find anything negative. I have flashed just about all the other ROMs on my DROID X and DS continues to blow them away with its overall stability, but best of all is the speed. This ROM is flat out FAST!!! I would say Liberty 1.5 and Apex 1.4 are tied for second place, but thats a distant second. Thanks to the devs!!!(all ROM devs)

to be honest the theme selection is low due to ds already being so heavily and nicely themed already,,,,,here is one

I've used both DS and Liberty and...
I like Liberty a lot more for the sole reason that the customization options that Liberty offers are far beyond that of DS.

very true but personally i prefer stability over customization any day
I really like this rom so far. The only complaint is the battery, compared to liberty..
That was fixed using juice defender and super power apps anyways.
The only serious thing is that there is no way to import contacts from the SD card. Most of my text messages, the sender is in my contacts, and it doesn't show their name. Instead, it shows the full #..
Also, anyone have some cool green backgrounds or docks?
For the Contacts Import, did you try this using the actual Contacts App? or just by going to the Dialer and going to your contacts from there? (Dumb question I know, but doesn't hurt to ask)
Also, If you don't mind using a Wallpaper App, then try out Zedge. It's a Wallpaper and Ringtone browser. If you get Zedge, then just do a search for "green" (this is how I found some pretty nifty color specific Wallpapers).
It didn't work in the contacts app, I had to change all my #'s to include a "1" in the beginning of the #..
This rom is awesome though, no freezes or issues at all.

I haven't, I did use liberty 1/1.5 and apex 1.3.1 though. Its so much smoother and the battery lasts significantly longer than either roms.
DS 4.3 is going to be so sexy too, if you checkout this thread.

I noticed that no one really talks about flashing/ devoloping kernels for the Droid X, can someone give me some light on this subject?
Cuz i know for my galaxy tab, I flash kernels and stuff and then flash roms but for my droid x I just flashed the rom.

The Droid X has a locked bootloader which disables us from flashing custom kernels.

I dont see a reason this wouldnt work, its doesnt demand dual core CPU to scroll sense in 3d..its rly not a big deal.. Sensation's Dual core CPU is for Full HD recording, very fast browsing and so..

HTC has just said that because of the hardware requirements of the new skin, only the Sensation, EVO 3D and Flyer will be benefiting from the Sense UI 3.0 for now .
HTC Sense 3.0 will only support Sensation, EVO 3D, Flyer and newer devices, older hardware left behind

And Motorola said that they wont make Gingerbread for the Milestone because of the hardware, and it runs better than Froyo. HTC cant say that they wont give it to push the sells of there new devices. So just wate and see. I'm sure that Baadnews, Robo, Coolexe and the other Devs wil do some magic with this Rom

Probably because it's not finished (or even exists). As I've said before, until I see the Desire running 2.3 I won't believe we'll ever get it
I had the crazy idea of downloading the RUU myself and trying to decompile it and all this just to get the wallpaper from the ads/presentation.
But I can't get to download it, some sort of restrictions are in place, I guess.

The different ROMS will have different advantages over the other. I've never actually used one of these sense-based roms but some of the complaints have been file size and theme compatibility. But like I said we will release both versions just like we currently do with the Sensation.

Theme compatability is a big issue phone and camera and other frameworks don't theme cause of the sense framework. So it depends if u want a themable cm9 version with bugs. Or a non themable version with no bugs. Its a tough choice.
But the sense version didn't seem to loose any speed compared to the cm9 counterpart at least on the sensation

I loved MIUI on my G2x, but I've been hesitating to root my HOS solely because of the camera. If they keep it in the official Rom I will puke rainbows and root faster than Usain Bolt can run 100 meters.

I've used miui for the mt4g for a long time before switching over to the One S but I'll wait to see how well they do with it, I can handle not themeing certain things as long as everything is working properly .

There's a temp fix for the radio issue posted towards the end of my thread. Once they figure it out I am updating the base.
MIUI v4 always based on stock roms, thats why htc´s camera is working on MIUI too.
Actually i am in the closed beta team from miui and waiting for the first version for testing all that ****. :good:
@luddeblaesild Multilanguage is planned for future releases.

lol yeah.. I just like developing for the Evo Shift considering it has only 8 pages of Roms and the Evo 4G has 63 pages of Roms. Kinda makes me upset that I bought a phone that doesn't have a lot but hey! Its one of the best slider phones running android on sprint.. So I guess I can't complain too much..

Megahostgamer....we think alike (somewhat)! I switched back to CM7 (7.2 nightly) due to network issues in CM9 and installed the Mixer ICS theme on it. Only thing that didn't theme was the keyboard.

Ok after download, definatley doesnt look like your screen shots... A lot of chinese still on boot and after boot asked if I wanted to update something, hit yes come to find out its the home launcher, asked me 8 times. Hmmmmmm PRI is different, other than that its smooth.

Yhea it will ask u for an update of the mihome hit yes u know it will ask like 4 times about the screenshots yea that's one of the Thousand themes u can get from the theme manager app

This thing running awesome. Only one question. Is anyone experiencing weak wifi? I'm 10 feet from my home router and only got one wifi bar. Had full bars on other roms.

Love this ROM! Very smooth. Best ROM I have tried out in a long while. Battery life is awesome. Connection is fast. Highly recommend trying this ROM. I will be using it as a daily for a while.
I do have one small simple question though.....Is USB tethering enabled on this ROM? I know people rarely use it since everyone has wireless tethering. But I have an old laptop without a wireless card that im doing work on and so I need to use my phone to get any kind of wireless on it. The phone says "Unable to connect" when I turn the USB tethering on. I even tried a 3rd party app off the market and it wont work. Just curious if everyone is getting this or if this is unique to me?
