So, do I need to start carrying my MiFi with me again?
The other night I was at the Daddy Daughter Dance with my daughter and uploaded about a 25mb video no issue. Want to upload a 10mb video after that and it hung at 98%.
Now I'm at my son's field day and trying to upload a 3mb video for my wife with no luck.
Doing a Google search seems to yield there's a video upload cap or something. Any thoughts of work arounds on this issue?

Originally Youtube. When that stopped working tried Facebook and Wordpress. And I think that's all I've tried is those three.

When I got home, I uploaded it over Wifi with zero issue. So I guess I'll be carrying my MiFi with me everywhere again...
With youtube, there definitely is an upload cap using 3g/4g. I got around it by uploading to flickr
When I upload to Photobucket everything works fine for me.

Last night i uploaded a video to facebook over lte and it was about 528MB in size

Are you still able to upload? Like I said, I was able to upload a file that was around 20mb no issues, but then it bombed after that... So I dunno.

I just sideloaded it. I couldn't even get it to open. Force Closed as soon as I tried. I rebooted and got a Netflix Force Close as soon as the phone started
Dang it I'm so looking forward to having netflix on this phone. I love me some netflix! Hope the drm lib was compiled into the hardware. I have heard yay and nay on if it is or not. No hard evidence though.

I am rooted and installed it this am. Works as a que manager, but no streaming.
Opens and I can sign in but streaming it's currently not working

Sadly it doesn't work, at least not yet. I was able to install, launch, and sign in to my account successfully. I am able to manage my instant que, but that's about it. I am not experiencing any force close errors, but maybe it's because I am rooted and run Gingerbread.
From what I've read in the other forums, it sounds like there is a lot more to it than just dropping in the apk.
ya i get the same message (finaly got home and sideloaded. The Netflix service could not be reached. kinda expected this however i can now surf the netflix movies on my phone and play on ipod via wifi teathering lol kinda defeting the purpose but hey.. who cares HAHA
Guys, if you go on Market, you can download MOVIE STREAM....its just as good or even BETTER than Netflix....you have everything 2009 and below.....2010 movies are being uploaded to it and will be up soon....

Inspired from my Inspire 4G using XDA Premium App
Hi guys i just wanted to share this awesome app. its called tv shows hd. for some reason they removed it from the market, but i just recently found it. the link is http://www.mobileboxs.info/android-apps/tv-shows-hd-v2-9-android/ just click on the megashare mirror and close all popups. click on where it says free download and close popups. then just wait for the countdown and download the apk. install it by either putting it on your sd card or going directly on your phone and downloading it and installing it like any other apk. Enjoy!!!!
UPDATE: I just found the newest version of this app which fixes the full screen problem...http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?647650-TV-Shows-HD-v3.0-(free) you have to register to get the app, but hey 10 seconds is a small price to pay for such an awesome app. And the show quality is AWESOME

I use "TV Shows Stream". The free version only allows a few shows, but if you just dish out a couple bucks for the paid app, it's well worth it. Tons of shows that update frequently.

i use this too and its awesome!! anybody know of a live tv app? the last one was taken over by the FBI and other legal stuff anybody find a new one?
To make it fullscreen, just long press near the top somewhere until you see the full screen icon on the top left corner
Tv shows stream is like 8 dollars now...too expensive if u ask me. Tv shows Hd is free and the quality is amazing
Whenever I do full screen like 10 seconds later it goes back to un-full screen. Anyone else experiencing this?

Cant get this damn app to work. It searches for servers and then gives me an ad and then black screen. Tried force stoppping, and retarting. Even rebooted my phone. Any advice? Do I need to be on Wifi or is 3G fine? On a rooted Droid X running 2.3.3.

I can confirm the app working perfectly on my Droid X running 2.3.3 on 3G. Don't know what would be giving you issues.
What is the point of the 4G network if I can't use it. First off all the only way I can share my high quality videos is YouTube. Second I can't upload them to YouTube without having WiFi access.
I'm at college where the WiFi signal is horrible so I was wondering if someone had a work around or a hack that could allow me to upload my "large" video to Youtube over 4G (it's less than a minute of 720p recording).
Thanks for any help.

Youtube app needs fixed. It's broke. I get errors saying I can't upload files bigger than 1GB when my file is like 500MB.

I never went to college but i'm shocked to here yours has poor wifi. don't they hardwire the dorms with ethernet and you can use your own router?

The dorms here have terrible wifi, they cap the speeds so you might get 3 megabits down/up. ethernet is the same, and they don't let you use your own routers here. some schools are picky.
also just log into youtube, click "mobile setup" and send your videos to the email they give you.
the other day my gf's one s decided to play up when we got back off holiday.
when you plug it in to the pc and select disk mode the removable disc comes up but the only file there is the lost.dir.
all of our pictures are still on it as i can see them in es file explorer.
any ideas?
Upload the pictures to dropbox from your phone ? Then then ruu go back stock should fix it ? But for pics upload em to dropbox one s users get 25 gb free

Actually quite fast tbh I'm on 60mb but used a 10 mb connection to upload before

You need to do all the "get started" procedures to get it. Google it and ull find a link sign in to dropbox and I think u need to do a few steps that takes 30 secs then u get all the space

It goes thru all the steps prior to upload but fails on upload..
Its only an 8 second clip..

yeah its 8 seconds at about double the frame rate so it should be about double the size.. whats the file size?

Still no way yet? Tried the last method but couldn't get it to work.
I found a workaround until they fix this using the busy but functional VivaVideo as the export to Instagram app after trimming and cropping with instaShot. Both in Play Store. The instaShot edits may not be necessary, but it's a nice app to have IMO. I tried to post links but I'm such a noob that I'm not even allowed. Hope this helps.
Did anyone ever report this problem to Instagram? Just curious.
