[Q] Safe to update? - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I got transformer today and I want to let it do the over the air update but I thought I saw a post about it not being safe. Has that been resolved yet?

You do realise there is a whole thread devoted to this right?

I thought I saw one but didn't see it anymore

Yeah its safe

I know there's another thread and I feel guilty already asking here, but since it came up: I thought the update was pulled. Are folks starting to see it again?

HTC bought CWM

According to his Twitter feed, clockwork has been acquired by HTC. They have been in negotiations for months. The big question, where does that leave us?

I don't think anyone in their right mind would have believed that one, anyway.

[Q] Off-Topic: What happened to the 'forum jump'?

Am I missing something here? Seems like it has been removed...apologies if this has been addressed...
Yeah I wondering the same thing. Why was it removed?

Participated Threads

On the app is there a way to remove threads that you participated in at one time. I have switched phones and would rather not see them in the list anymore as I no longer have said phone

Am also interested in the answer to this.
And sorry to hijack but is there a way to view participated threads in the XDA normal browser website?
Bump

EDIT: NVM, I misread the question. My bad.
::Hides::
So I'm gonna say its not possible...

Is there no way of doing this, from the website? I've stopped using Tapatalk because I dislike nonfree software, and not only do I have to use a desktop website but I cannot even see my own discussions.
Edit: of course if one subscribes to the daily email digest that automatically adds threads you post in to your subscriptions. I've done that now, but that doesn't help my old threads.

Costco Epic Failure

The Costco website currently says the New Huawei Mytouch Q is running android 4.0 ICS. When you click on the phone and look at the information about it, it says currently running android 2.3 Gingerbread. Wow Costco. Epic Fail
That's cool. Another worthless post

To show off a Costco fail. Wow. I was just trying to show people a funny error. Harmless post

Its a simple advertisement mistake.

It's just that some people get annoyed when the forums get clogged up with threads like these.
And I'm fairly sure that was just a typo.

At least the OP used the noun "failure" as opposed to the verb "fail" that many others seem to use.

Dude. You don't need to show off a failure. Its just a typo. Nothing too bad about it. It is useless, and not funny at all. This post is being reported and stop spamming the boards with useless threads. If you wanna try and post this, do it at off topics, and the closest already made thread is about tech fails and dumb tech questions. Inb4l. You must be new here.

Yeah it is. I sent mine off recently (I'm in the UK) and it took nearly 2 weeks. My problem hasn't even been fixed though so i'm gonna need to send it back unfortunately.
Hope you get your problem sorted

since its a problem with the dock do you think i need to send the whole unit or just the dock?
You could always ask them by contacting ASUS. I usually get a reply back the following day. I think they have a contact option on their website. I would assume you'd have to send both though
