Virtual high five accepted! Lol. I friggen love this damn phone. Im waiting for froyo before i root. Seems like its mid december for rogers if i read correctly. I wanted a samsung focus when i went to get a new phone but they didnt have any. So far this captivate is the real deal! Coming from an xperia x10 i gotta say the camera on the captivate doesnt impress me tho.

Smjfosho said he was working on one in another miui thread. I messaged him and this is what he said " I've been trying, just can't get it to boot. I've been talking with the o2x guys and they are having similar issues." So hopefully they'll get it figured out soon.

No problem dude. Im thinking bout craigslisting a mt4g or g2 just to mess with but I'm sure we'll get miui eventually. Its just a matter of time just hang in there.

Any new news on Miui for the G2X?

believe me, we'll know when something happens.

Never messed with MIUI and decided to load it on my HD2 that my wife uses and I must say it is a bad a$$ OS. I can not wait for some MIUI action on the G2x!

I am also waiting very patiently for MIUI on this phone. They are starting to make headway as a phone has now been purchased with some donations. Here is the link.

[Q] G2X Camera App

After the 2.3.3 update the camera app on the G2X sucks. I've heard that the 2.2.2 app was LG's and the 2.3.3 app is Google's. Does anyone know of a way to restore the stock camera app from 2.2.2 to a 2.3.3 installation without having to restore the whole 2.2.2 ROM?

If you like Swype it isn't installed.
WiFi calling was missing by there is a zip in the thread.
The only one I haven't been able to work around is bluetooth fc on pairing.
Screen shots don't do it justice as it is how you configure your home screen. But it is quick and I love the animations. No freezes or black screens....

It has the LG Froyo cam, major plus.

I do like this rom, as I have used it before. The wifi calling zip in the thread was actually posted by myself. However, this rom has already been linked to this forum not too long ago and it was already closed. Wouldn't expect this one to stay open too long... If nothing else, I believe they think this would be considered the wrong forum to post this in since it is not your work and this is the Development forum.

I believe the dev for this rom didn't post it on this site for a reason, so it's rude to post it here without their permission. People already know where to grab this rom from if they so choose to.

I don't understand why everyone loves the LG cam. It doesn't have as much options as CM cam and lags a bit more. And of course the FFC is bugged.

Ok, got back to my CM7.1.0.1 now. After a manual reboot, it doesn't go back on again. Weird!!!

Love the theme!
But not the lack of custom features. I require notification toggles at least. There are 3rd party addons in the market to include this feature but they don't work as well as built-in.

Well people who care much more about the quality like the LG cam. The visible differences are extremely noticeable.

LG camera has digital image stabilization that does a very decent job, as far as I have seen, none of the other for sale packages offer this.
I am not talking about a sensor that waits to take the picture when it thinks things are stable, but a computed digital solution.

Well if you don't notice a difference, that's no biggie for you though =) but with the cm7 cam, they do not look as detailed or as clear at all. Its most definable when I look at the pictures I took with froyo (or the lg cam port on 3.3) then look at the current pictures. My wife even pointed it out after looking at pictures on the computer. Their are some definite factual differences like fps or resolution when moving, but I can't say the exact terms off the top of my head. Sorry for the late reply.
