I know that some Mms programs let you change the notification light to blue, but is there a way (maybe in framework.res) that let's you change all notifications to blue? I'm playing around with my own personal theme that matches the motorala gingerblur blue.
Try Blink. It's another app, but I'm fairly certain that it can change all notifications.
I'll check it out, thanks.
Not sure if this thread is dead or not but I have personally been using lightflow (free app in market) and I can change my status led to virtually any color and I have diff colors for diff notifications i.e. green for gmail, blue for gvoice, red for missed call, purple for normal txt etc... It's really nice to know what notification I've missed just by looking at color of status light instead of turning on screen just to see it was a gmail.

Hey I was wondering if any one know of an app that lets you change the color of the led for different notification?

Read a post from b4 that said Handsent SMS program allowed 4 LED color changes. I dl'd it, installed, but couldn't get DX LED to change color. Luv the program though!

"Missed Call" seems to work for texts, and emails...don't remember if it actually worked for missed calls.
Not sure about you but I only ever see 3 colors.. green, blue and red.
the Original Droid 1 had all sorts of colors, purple, cyan, orange, etc..
I know with touchdown email I can change the led color for emails only to hundreds of different colors. But I'm looking for one program to change the led colors for different stuff

Handcent sms works fine for me, I haven't seen any other ways yet to change the indicator. I've also noticed it only works with the screen off. That's ok though.
The led is able to do multiple colors well enough. Color choices work as billed in the menu but the color picker seems ineffective sometimes...
The cyan setting works well also., is my default sms light
My led indicator changes colors on its own, some hours of the day, it will be green for all my notifications, some hours it will be blue, some will be red. Does anyone else have this issue? I do not have a led app, but am seriously thinking of getting just to keep some consistency.
Thanks
Jon

What i have noticed is the LED indicator changes color depending on what notification it is. For example I never set any color notifications but for google+ its an orange/yellow. And Facebook is blue.
Thats the funny thing, it doesnt. All the notifications are the same, but they change. Like i said, for one hour, Gmail could be red, then its green, then its something else. Its totally ghostbusterish. Ive read that there are issues with the the LED on the US models.

although i am not using a led app, and the color changes by itself. so i am confused why you sent me this.

Can it be that you have multiple notifications? For example you have a gmail notification thats red and you do not check...soon after you get a facebook notification and the LED changes color due to overwriting the gmail notification. I guess what I am trying to say is the most recent notification will change the LED light can be a possibility.
I've noticed that we no longer have a pulsing Green light for notifications after installing the kitkat update on my xt926m. Now whenever I get a notification such as an email or message from any of my apps that the light just under the speaker at the top of the phone only flashes White.
Has anyone else noticed this and has anyone found a way to change the color back to green?

there is an app that can supposedly manipulate the notification light (i never tried it), but i cant remember what its called off hand. try searching the market for notification light and see what comes up.
LightFlow
The default LED color for Email, Messaging,Voicemail, etc, is Blue, which is difficult to see in bright light. Ebay uses the Green LED, which is very easy to see in bright light. I'd like to switch the assignments.
Is it possible to reassign the default LED color on the GS5? I'd like to reassign the default color for email, etc. to Green.
Appreciate any help, thanks.
Look up Light Manager in the market. Been using it for a while now and works great. You can change the led colors for pretty much anything

Works great! Many Thanks!
Has anyone else noticed different colours for the led notification? Is it app specific?
I think it works like most RGB notifications. Yes I think it is app specific
Yes, I've seen blue, green, red, and orange. Apps can set the color if they contain that feature.
