Hbo go app - HTC Inspire 4G

Just seen on engadget about the new hbo Apo so I decided to check it out and I must say I'm pretty impressed. Playback was solid, as well as quality. If you have a suscription to hbo through any major sat/cable company just use your username and password from that service to log in and start watching. Its all free

No need for the pissy pants attitude. If you aren't interested then stay the hell out of the thread. You obviously have enough free time to troll threads of no interest.
Its a very good app. Adds significant value to the sub.

Certain people seem to be developing a pattern of popping into threads just for the sake of starting an argument. Bit counter-productive and annoying as the rest of us have to sift through your bs just to read the useful content.
I tried the app earlier and enjoyed it. Thanks to the poster. If you have HBO it's a great way to avoid having to download HBO content and eat up your SD card.
If you don't have HBO then maybe it doesn't really concern you in the first place.

kinda getting off track with the flaming each other and what not.. but yea.. good find!

runs better on my phone then it does on my computer lol. and I have a fast ass conncetion

Netflix instant streaming...

Anyone know if we'll be getting that ability? I know the iphone had it, makes me jealous haha.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Netflix did have a job posting earlier in the year suggesting that they were looking for an Android developer.
http://pocketnow.com/tech-news/netflix-targeting-streaming-for-android-with-latest-job-posting
Rumor has it Netflix will have a streaming Android player soon, hopefully very soon.
For now we'll wait. I wish they just used flash instead of the special plugin they require. If you change ur UA String to desktop and try to stream a movie, it asked you to install their silverlight plugin.

Google TV is going to support netflix is it not? and that is just android
I believe the Netflix support is because of GTV has Chrome built-in and has the tools necessary to play it. There's an Android app in dev that targets mobile phones and tablets.
its coming give it a few...im sure it will have a better ui than the one on the iphone.

Question about streaming. Does 4G affect streaming audio/video or does it just affect downloading/uploading a file(s)?
Figured this would be a good place to post this, but is there a good Netflix app to just manage my movies and such?
Have you tried PhoneFlicks or QueueMan? I use PhoneFlicks and it works well, I've never used QueueMan but have heard it works well too.

Rooted Devices Blacklisted from Google Movies.

Google has recently responded to a unhappy customer that was unable to view his rented movie "March of The Penguins" and has responded with a response that will effect almost everyone here.

I see what you're saying, but if this were truly the case shouldn't Google be doing anything they can to provide media content in a legal manner to all of their customers? Yes, I've rooted my phone, and I would have gladly used the Google Movie service, but since they won't let me, I guess I know how I'll continue to get my movies... If anything this move pushes users back to piracy.

Youtube Partnership Could Get Me Another Phone?

Yes, you need at least 100 subs and I think over 1,000 total views. But I'm not 100% sure on the views qualification. I have about 800 subs and about 250,000 views total all about MT4G stuff and I've made about $600 total in the last 6 months to give you an idea of how much you'll get. So you'll definitely be able to get a new high end phone each half a year.
If your application to become a YT partner is accepted then just enable the revenue sharing on each video. Good luck bro.

[req-app] Best multi-downloading Mp3 [music] downloader

not sure if the applications are legal or if this actually piracy, if it is then close the thread if it isn't feel free to help me with this
So everybody knows that there are many mp3 downloading apps in the market but I am looking for the best one.
one that has fast multi-downloading.
good and human-friendly interface.
hopefully free? if there is a paid app ill look into it, maybe if I am satisfied with the results ill buy it.
Again, excuse me if this is warez... its just bit different than cracking a paid app..

Facebook native for andriod

Perhaps most of you know this all ready. And honestly with Facebook you are the product cause your not a customer. However because I along with others have family on Facebook we are in a bind. Well Facebook went native and it finally works well with android. So for the others that have resisted being a user. Maybe its time to give them one more shot?

Yup, much better.
Also, the argument that if you're not paying something "you're the product" is.... well I'll just say "dramatic." Yes you're being advertised to, and maybe your information is being used for advertising purposes, but.... most normal people don't give a crap, and it certainly doesn't hurt you.

Its not dramatics' its a simple fact. And that's OK that they sell my info to make money so I can have a free social media outlet.
I Apologize if this thread seems derogatory to Facebook. They seem to had missed the mark with not taking care of its "product". A vast amount of android users became disheartened of the HTML code. I wrote emails to fb explained how it seemed they were ignoring the android user.
I digress... the point of this thread was to welcome back and perhaps persuade old users to "give them one more shot" I would have never thought I'd give fb 5stars for the app! all my cool friends are on Google + and my sheep ios family are on fb.
