Has anyone seen the original Motorola M2 Car Dock being sold in Brazil, whether on brick-and-mortar or online stores? I've seen some offshore online stores willing to ship it to Brazil, but I'm a bit weary...

you could try ebay. search for a trusted power seller with good feedback and transaction history. otherwise, try clove.co.uk. they are good. my gf got her MS2 shipped to ireland. another mate of mine from india bought his MS2 from clove too they were efficient enough

By the way, could someone upload the Cardock.apk from stock rom? I'm using Argen2stone Rom and it is not included...
I bought a general cardock (for any phone) on "camelô"(i dont know how to translate it, it's kinda chinese market with pirate things), just need to attatch a magnet on the right pole (one open car dock and the other pole activate the normal dock) behind it and I think it's gonna work.

You can find it in Mercado Livre. Search for "Kit Original Motorola De Acessórios Para Milestone 2 - A953", I've seen it there. The car dock is included in the kit.

I brougth mine at ebay, but was to my old phone SAMSUNG OMNIA 1, but i can use it with my milestone 2 works well
and in ebay is very cheap, i pay around $10 but was a generic just to hold the phone in glass.
I think that motorola sell a not very good car holders, i dont like the pressure car holder, they brick too fast i prefer with springs

ele so serve para prender o celular no vidro, e nao tenho certeza se os q a motorola vende de "car holder" sao tao bons, eu prefiro os que tem MOLA do que os que sao a pressao

The best way to get it it's ebay. But are you shure you need this? You can do the same with any cell stand.

Yeah, I used some generic ones before, but they break easily, are hard to drive with camera turned on, and most generic ones doesn't have the magnet to start the car mode when inserted, so this time I spent a little more.

Warranty in unsupported country

Hello everybody. My situation in a nutshell: for last year's Christmas, I got a Nexus 5 as present from one of my relatives, who lived in Germany, while I live in Hungary (which does NOT have Google Play Devices support).
I have come across a problem today, which really bugs me, on darker background and from a proper angle I am able to see a little 2x1 cm sized purple/pink stain (as attached in the picture below). So, I contacted LG in my country, and they told me that I have to contact Google in Germany, and send my phone to them.
I would happily send it to my relative, but the problem is, that he (my relative) no longer lives in Germany, and I couldn't find any way to get in touch with them. So, if anybody knows a way to contact Google, or something, please let me know.

Playstore devices just have started in Austria and sells nexus 5 as well. Maybe Google playstore in austria accepts devices bought from playstore in germany. Astruia is the closest country which has playstore devices. LG will replace the screen, if you pay them. If austrian playstore is not an option for you then it is time to go a 1 week family holyday to Germany.

Ausztria a legközelebbi ország ahol van playstore devices. LG mindenesetre kicseréli a kijelzőt és javítja a hibákat ha állod az egészed, de valószínűleg azon a pénzen egyszerűbb ha veszel még egy nexus 5-öt. Ha az osztrák playstore nem játszik akkor sajnos ki kell menned Németországba mondjuk egy 1 hetes családi nyaralás keretében. Ami biztos hogy itthon csak drága pénzért javítaná LG. Az is lehet nem a kijelző a baj hanem valami IC-jé ami meghibásodott és ezért nagyon felmelegszik ami károsította a kijelzőt. I dont know is it possible to hire a delivery service which sends your device to google then it sends back the new device for you, or wether Playstore in Austria will accept the phone. I am going to try to find phone number though austiran or german proxy, because here in Hungary I just get "this Google service is not available in your country" and Google playstore has no hungarian phone number
Nem tudom hogy ki lehet-e küldeni valami futár szolgálattal ami majd vissza küldi neked az új készüléket, vagy hogy Ausztriában elfogadja-e Google. Megpróbálok keresni valami telefonszámot osztrák vagy német proxyn keresztül, mert innen Magyarországról csak az jön be hogy ez a Google szolgáltatás nem elérhető az országodban és Magyarországon Google playstornak nincs telefonszáma.

Is the OnePlus 7 Pro irreplaceable?

I am having a very strange conundrum. I bought the OnePlus 7 Pro 12 GB RAM + 256GB almost 3 years ago.
I paid 749$ (and no taxes, I live in the US). I am the kind of person who loves to have the latest tech, so I never kept a phone for that long!
But whenever I look at new phones, I don't see anything exciting! When the 7 Pro came out it was the first phone with a 90Hz display! And a pop up cam!
I was tempted by the Pixel 6 Pro when it first came out, but I realized that I would be paying 900$ + taxes (so almost 1k$) to get a 128GB storage which feels like an expensive downgrade.
Yes the Pixel 6 Pro or the Galaxy S22+ would be a bit faster, the screen would be 120Hz, the camera bit better. But nothing would be hugely better, like 1k$ better.
My phone is going to die at some point, I replaced the battery and the screen but the battery life is still bad and it gets very laggy sometimes. But it's still a great phone.
What do you guys think? Is there any phone out there worth the upgrade?
I would love to have your opinions on this because I have been trying to find a new phone for the past year or so as mine is getting slower and less exciting.
Oh also I love Oxygen OS and would have a hard time using Xiaomi, Oppo or Realme's UIs.

You can do what I'm doing ... updated to android 12 (some custom rom with pixel look and feel) and wait a few months until something exciting appears.

Mod translation via GT: the 3 cameras, the front one and the flash died gradually in a week but I go back to the A9 and they work, I go back to the A10 or the A11 and they are still black and throwing an error that you may have to go to the SAT and I do not want to send the terminal I have it without warranty and touched by hardware... any idea??? At this moment, there is only one phone I would buy to replace my 7 Pro, and that's the Fxtec pro 1/x. I know the specs are worse and all, but excellent custom rom support and a physical keyboard? sign me up. I wish they weren't so expensive though. also, it doesn't have camera hole/teardrop, and that's one of my favorite parts about the 7 Pro.

I love my 7Pro. Nothing new is close, although the Pixel 6 Pro might come close. I'm just not ready to fork over $1k for a new phone. While I would like to have A12, there's nothing thgere I have to have either. It would be nice if One+ gave us 12 because I cannot root my phone (dual use for work).

being completely honest, I'm ready to drop $1k on a phone, but SD888/SD8G1 has horrible thermals rn, I'd be interested in MTK D8100 only if MTK didn't have a terrible track record for OSS support.
That and nothing else has a full screen, I hate the bloody punch hole front cams. That and waiting for under display front cam will probably take me to 2024 at this point lmao

I was using the latest software from OnePlus, meaning 11 without unlock nor root.

Thank you very much mate.... I ordered the flex for the front camera at Alixpres 3 weeks ago for €35 and it arrived today.... I'll tell you if everything went back to normal. health and peace

I updated to Android 12 (open beta) and though it's nice I have some bugs I cannot seem to get rid of. Event formatted the data which was a PAIN.
I am going to order the Pixel 7 Pro to try it out. Will return it if it doesn't feel worth the upgrade

I'm in the same dilemma. However, In my case, my screen has burn-in marks already (fingerprint and top notification area), otherwise it's a great phone in 2022, even more so with the official Android 12 release. But I'm leaning toward the OnePlus 9 Pro.

I am also using the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G and I bought myself another one if this one dies
Still on official OOS 10.0 because my GM27BA doesn't get another Rom. I hope the 12 will be available some day to all regions, not just india. Maybe someone will port it.

I am not from India but I was able to install Android 12 by copying the ROM to the phone and installing it manually. I found it online.
I then found this app that does the same.

I would like to know if there is a way to update the Wear os on the watch? is there already a way? Or is it technically possible? thanks.

I am also thinking to buy that watch, does it worth? I mean I saw some users saying some apps stopped working..such us the google music app, maps, etc..Is this true? Are the pre installed apps not working anymore?

Where are you seeing that it won't get the OS 3 update? I have this watch and it is terribly frustrating as they had given an EOY 2022 ETA for the OS 3 release, and missed it clearly, but as I understand it, it is still supposed to be updated as far as I can find assuming that Mobvoi gets their act together: https://piunikaweb.com/2023/01/27/ticwatch-wear-os-3-updates-release-date-uncertainty-frustrating/

Well my map is working normally, about music there is spotfy and youtube music, but now I supply everything I need, just update the apps in the play store that work fine, some apps were removed but it's all the same play store and not due to lack of updates, telegram for example, deleted their app from watch stores so no one can download it anymore, but if i were you i would buy the galaxy watch 4 which is better.

Thank you for your reply. I am also thinking of that too. Do you say that because it will probably not get wearos 3? One thing that attracts me to ticwatch e3 is the battery life. Is it better than Galaxy 4? Galaxy 4 can goes 2 days without charging. How is the battery life of ticwatch e3?
