Make sure you buy it,and compare to SG2. I have the feeling once you use Sense 3.0 you never go back to TW

That will be exactly like back in december when I was on a GS for 4 months and I bought a Desire HD. I had to make a choice between the two and I was like, Sense is so sleeeek and polished . Finally since the DHD was worth more for resale and since GS was a little more powerful for gaming (huge gamer here) and the screen was miles away for true blacks, I sold DHD with hardness and waited until a good price comes (350€)
I just hope that they will get rid of those little lags that I saw in some videos

sure do.. there is a forum already for the optimus 3d and its been up for over a month.. and that phone doesnt even have a release date yet!!.. seriously can we get a infuse 4g forum up.. im planning on getting the phone on launch day!!
I wouldn't say it's being blackballed but........the SGSII, Atrix, and others had forums months before their actual launches. There has been plenty of mention of the Infuse in other forums to warrant its own, but for some reason the Moderator is holding off despite several requests/suggestions from others in addition to my own.
I'm hoping to see a dedicated forum up soon as well. Lack of xda dev support is my only real concern with this phone.
And speaking of dev support, I wondering what the unlocking situation will be. I have to comit to having someone buy it for me on Sunday as I am currently living out of the US. I hope I don't purchase it to later find out that there will be problems unlocking it. Although from what I hear, Samsung is pretty good about this stuff.
On another note, many of us are still wondering what the off contract price will be. Nothing seems to be set in stone just yet, but people seem to be assuming around $499.

Questioned kiosk manager due to discrepancy of dates . They got memo clarifying. Believe they will sell at full retail, but no phone leaves building without being activated. Costco ultra conservative and won't jeopardize any business relationships.

went into a local at&t store today to get a sim card and asked about the infuse.. they had the phone there in stock and said it would be $599 off contract!! .. im hoping that it is not true and its only around $499 but that is what i was told from the at&t store... just sharing..

i have had my hands on one for a few hours today ... impressed with it so far .. to bad about no forum for it yet ... there a few people here and there that already have ones ... some were released out for people that will be selling them to get hands on before the normal release...

499 sounds more correct .. but not for sure ... normally the only phone they have that breaks the 500 mark is the current model iphone

*sigh* I don't know why t mobile insists on dogging the mytouch line. The mt3g was high end for its time, same with the mt4g and mt4gs. Now its like they've dropped them down to bottom of the barrel phones. Hate to say it, but I have seriously been considering the gs2.

The only real reason I have not is because of money. Those phones ain't cheap, and unless I have a real need for that phone (which I don't), its not really worth it to me to spend it. Also, my contract is up on father's day, so I will probably get a nice upgrade for cheap then. I can wait.

My upgrade is around the same time. If the GS III launch is anything like the GS II, it'll hit the states months after the rest of the world. I may buy a Galaxy Note and flash the radio that works with T-Mobile to tide me over until the GS III or something else comes along. Then I will have two awesome phones.

The release might actually be delayed - but Samsung is doing a simultaneous launch with 70+ countries or something like that I think. .

good for you. I am used to it... I was with Virgin Mobile before I came to T-mo and if you think T-mo is bad. *shudder* At least T-mo releases updates... In the history of VM there has been 1 update. 1 and only 1. To a outdated phone to an outdated os... So I personally can live with having a phone have 0 updates or go to it's end of life... There is always dev support.
Also people complaining of lack of dev support... There are lots of devs here compared to a lot of other phones...

Yea I saw the specs on the new mytouch made by hanwei man 5 mp camera 720 recording ... yuck ... I think ill stay with my mt4gs ... I like it alot . So until the next big thing i doubt ill get rid of it

1 thing I will give a plus to is the new myTouch has a 4" screen which is nice. But personally I would love the One S with a qwerty.

Btw, there is one rumor (at least) on a Japanese website that the phone will be released not in the usual black or white colors... but in dark blue or white, as shown in the press notification "teaser" pictured here.
It's the first time I've heard this "rumor". I don't give it any more credence than the usual rumor, except that I tend to believe Japanese sites more than English.
I do like the "brushed aluminum" effect in dark blue.

It works for me. I have two phone plans, so I got the Skyrocket in November and will pick up the SII in November also. One new phone every year. yay.
There was also some talk that Samsung wanted to do a WORLDWIDE launch that includes the US.
Thus the delay in the GSIII (GSII Was announced Feb 13, 2011, we are well over the one year release cycle).
Samsung misses out a huge US market when it fails to launch HOT products early. So I can see them trying to launch in the US too, well I'm hoping that .
I don't think I want a quad core phone.... Think of the battery life.
Hello I Recently cracked the screen on my amaze it will cost me over 200 dollars to fix anyway I've really been wanting this phone and thinking of getting it I've played with it in store. I was wondering if anyone knows how this compares to Amaze and if it's worth it. Also any tips I need to know? I heard the all black one S has chipping that occurs should I stick to the gray and blue? also I read on the forums there's phones with the S3 processor and the S4 is there a way for me to know in store if I get a phone whether it's is S3 or S4? thanks.
The One S will be a nice upgrade from the amaze. The camera is on par, if not better and the overall build, feel and design is awesome. If you're on tmobile USA only the gray/blue model is available, at least right now. The North American markets will continue to receive the S4 variant along with several Western Europe markets. I've had my tmobile USA model since release and have had zero issues to date. With any phone though some users have experienced issues from random reboots and sense reloading.
Give the HOS a try, if you don't like or enjoy the phone, return it.

If you want to go for the black model make sure the serial number starts HT24 or later. Mine is HT24RW and has got 0 issues so far.

That's true. It's a shot in the dark as to which version you'll receive. I purchased my One X a few weeks ago (new) and I received it with 4.0.3 and was able to root and unlock the bootloader.

My refurb that came yest came with the old update. so im sure most are not on 2.20 yet.. but i paid 49.99 for my refurb. but got att to lower it cause the next day it went to 19 bucks lol all in all even stock this phone rocks. but keeping my galaxy nexus though for tinkering.. as the one x will be my work/personal line.. etc

When I choose upgrade eligibility it takes me to the AT&T premier website where they don't offer the HOX refurbished... Can someone tell me if I'm doing something wrong? Make no mistake about it, the HOX is a great phone, and ATT will do about anything to make users switch to LTE. At $20 for an upgrade its a steal.
