Sorry if this has already been covered if so please show me to it as i couldn't find it when searching.
Im using the new ROMeOS rom and .28 radio on my new vodafon handset and im getting really quiet caller volume. I have set the volume as high as i can and it still sounds like there whispering on the other end.
If there anyway to fix this?
Hiya,
Yes, this has been covered in:
Phone volume problem solved
Cheers,
D.
Thanks for finding that
I tried using that but then my HTC PRO system volume was really low. When I used the Sprint music player, I could bearly hear the music. Is there something specific to the HTC Touch PRO or even better for the Sprint CMDA Pro?
Does anyone know if theres any way to fix the volume for the Inspire 4G? It sounds ok, but its just nowhere near loud enough.
Sorry about this old, beaten to death topic, but I didn't see a solution thread.
The Infuse is a great phone but the external rear speaker sorta stinks
Is there a way to adjust the volume (beyond the phone's built-in volume control) of both the earpiece front speaker and rear speaker? One or both?
And maybe even be able to adjust tone settings for bass (Ha!!) and treble?
Why cell phone manufactures don't put in better sound quality audio output?
Don't they know people need to hear voice calls in all sorts of environments?
Is Voodoo only for headsets? Does it have improvements for the speakers?
We are not asking for Boom-Box sound (or maybe we are ), but just some decent sound.
Galaxy tuner app can boost back speaker volume.
I tried Galaxy Tuner on mine. It definitely raises the volume but no matter how much I boosted mine it just got more distorted. Wish this phone had the Atrix's speaker. That is a loud phone. But the Infuse beats the other out with everything else lol.
Thanks,,, I'm trying Galaxy Tuner
I tried to install the Galaxy Tuner on the Infuse but get a message: 'Your Phone is not Galaxy S'
I don't know how to get around it.

Are you using the gingerbread rom? That app requires froyo.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997R using XDA Premium App
The Infuse is running froyo. I see others have posted that Galaxy Tuner works on Froyo. I'll keep looking.
I downloaded the galaxy tuner and am running group and cannot get it to work for some reason?

I was able to get Galaxy Tuner running. You must root the phone using Super Click and it requires Busy Tools installed. The app required the phone to stay rooted even though I told it to run unrooted. The app worked fine...
Select the settings u want and then hit apply.. I could tell immediately, the new changes were taking effect as soon as I hit apply.
The sound settings you desire are not persistent across boots as the app mentions. Save your settings to a Save name file so you can easily restore them after a power cycle or reboot. The app screen has a buttong to select "Save"
I'm running Froyo on an Infuse. No problems...
Just a note,,, the speaker is the weak link and cannot handle much. So if you pre-amp it up or attempt to drive it much at all, you'll get distortion.
Also, I downloaded Galaxy Tuner from the Market. Stock ROM, Nothing special
I was wondering if anyone knew what files i need to edit to get my wired headset volume control buttons to work on my epic4g. I have a samsung vibrant pair, the ones that came with the vibrant but epic didnt come with any. what can i do?
Almost two weeks and no response from the entire community? Sheesh guess I have to experiment!

I am using CM10.
Does anyone know of an app to reduce the volume of the receiver (the person talking) on the S3? I think I read this is a known issue on CM10 ("stable" release). It's ridiculous. It's like it's on speakerphone.
There is no setting to enhance volume that I could uncheck - or anything related. At this point, I am just thinking I need an app to cut the volume until the Cyanogen people figure out a way to fix it. Using the volume rocker barely changes it.
(Other than this, I love CM10 but I might have to go back to stock just to drop this volume!)
ive got the same issues using CM10 stable on my Telus SGS3 (i747m).
Would love to be able to reduce the speakerphone volume, but there is no way at the moment. Anyone know anything about this? Even the CM team?
