I'm using CM7 Test4 on my Thunderbolt and I really want to use my NFL Mobile App, how can I get it to work?
Has anyone figured out how to fix this? Its the only thing keeping me from using CM7.
I'm not entirely sure what file the previous post is mentioning, And I have tried both the VZW files located in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1138759 as well as the VzqSigSSOEngine.apk but still havent gotten to work successfully. Thanks
Can we bring this thread back? The NFL is back and I would really like this to work on my Thunderbolt. I'm using CM7.

I don't think cm7 has the verizon sso engine apk that nfl mobile needs. Try this one:

Can anyone confirm that they've gotten the NFL mobile app to function on CM7 RC1.3 or RC1.4?
I've tried two different versions of the SSO client to no avail.
I can confirm that this does NOT work on RC 1.4.
I went as far as restoring my BAMF nandroid backup where NFL Mobile is working, copying NFL Mobile, Verizon Single SignOn and MyVerizon. I loaded those into CM7 and the same result. I have been trying to look into the code but I am stuck now as I cannot decompile the lua files which are located in NFL Mobile app.

Yeah the mobiauth.lua file is what needs to be edited but I can't find anything anywhere on how to decompile it. Its not even reading the build.prop though because I replaced the entire build prop with bamfs and no dice.

Seems we need a decompiler for Lua 5.2, I cannot find one yet.
I see in the file it requires core-3.12, does anyone know what that is and how to check it?
I sure hope this gets fixed by September. Otherwise I will be forced back into sense and bamf for my NFL mobile...

So a couple weeks ago someone gave me the NFL mobile app that apparently only Verizon phones use. I ran it perfectly until tonight it wouldn't start up because I'm not on Verizon service. Is there a fix to this? If not does anyone hve the Sprint NFL apk because mine opens then automatically closes. Thanks

Do a 'Search This Forum' and search NFL. Have it show posts. You'll fine one with a nflusa apk to install. I hope this helps!

Try going to manage applications and clear the data for the app...or uninstall it and reinstall it..

I'm pretty sure that it's due to it not working on the official Gingerbread release. I updated my wife's unrooted phone today, and Netflix stopped working. It would start the stream, but it would stop and then go back to the queue.
I just checked market and sure enough, its gone. Maybe good news is just around the corner for us who havent been able to run it.

After speaking with my Dad who didnt even know there was a Netflix App, decided to download it before it disappeared and the Market said that his EVO wasnt a supported phone. I am under the impression that Netflix dropped support for both 2.2 and 2.3 on the EVO until they can fix it for both.
hmmm i still have it in the market but heres a change
Currently Netflix playback is supported on the following phones:
• HTC Incredible with Android 2.2
• HTC Nexus One with Android 2.2, 2.3
• HTC G2 with Android 2.2
• Samsung Nexus S with Android 2.3
• Motorola Droid with Android 2.2

I have an older .apk for the NetFlix app and when I install it and open it, it tells me I HAVE to upgrade to continue, then searches the market and says requested item cannot be found, click OK and right back to the you must upgrade screen.. so it appears that the NetFlix app is gone completely for the Evo until the fix the 2.3 issue. Can anyone else confirm the same?
I noticed that too! This really sucks ! Now what am I going to do at work? Maybe its time to introduce ubuntu to the work place

Have you tried running it recently (since the update?) Possibly if you were lucky enough to have the last version they had before they pulled it for the EVO then maybe it will still work for you, but the older version I have doesn't work.
I have the last version. When I tried playing anything it would load and say that netflix had not been activated on my device. Not that it worked to begin with, but that message is new to me.

I didn't make this work, I take no credit for it. I just distribute it to the masses. I found this on the Galaxy Tab forum and thought if it works on my Tab, why not my phone too? So I tried and it does! The video freezes when you switch to the back camera but other than that its seems to work fine. Have fun!

UPDATE: First, i can't video call out, i have to receive it. Second, it forse closes when you try to answer with video. I'm running Bionix Black Ice and Bali 3.2UV. I would try Trigger but they're both KD1 based ROMs so i don't think it will change. I might flash KF2 just for this though.
Nope for me...
For me, on stock kd1 + root, it crashes skype as soon as I use video (initiate a video call, or touch the video icon). It won't receive video either when the other side starts their video.
PS: I already had skype installed (latest from Market), and even after uninstalling it would not install at first, giving a message about not enough available storage (even though there was plenty). The fix was to remove the /data/data/com.skype.raider directory that somehow was not removed when the app was uninstalled... The same was needed after uninstalling this one to go back to the Market version.

Hit the download link, and install it from your SD card like any other app. Fair warning -- we don't know if there will be any complications from doing this, but we haven't seen any so far. Use your best judgement. Discuss it in the forums!
