Hi all. Dunno if we´re talking about the same thing, but did one find a solution for setting the window animation to fast in OXYGEN. When punching menu, it pops up ridiculous slow

You can do it on miui as well. Stock roms do not have this feature
And for oxygen, you need to turn off your animations to none then the popup will be really fast

I've used Oxygen in the past. It's a fast ROM but its too lightweight for me. Oxygen is a mini-version of CM7. Check Oxygen settings. I think when I used that ROM, the setting was in Oxygen settings.

That is a possibility. I know CM7 and MIUI has it. ROMs based off CM7 (NSCollab, etc) would have it too.
Just to clarify, I was wondering how to make it work (decompiling, etc.) from a stock epic 4g and I want a dev from a phone with a bigger user base to help me out.
Epic is not epic enough to get screen on animation.

im not running it because i cannot stand aosp, that's the only reason. rc1 was a bit buggy but rc3 ran good.
I ran decks roms when I had the tp2 and they were great. Not sure the differences are between his rom and CM. I'm downloading now and will flash in a bit.

I flashed this last night and it looks exactly like cm7 with the change of stock gingerbread launcher and in the menu settings it doesn't say cyanogenmod settings it says like advance settings...but the actual settings are identical...I'm a heavy cm7 user and this is almost identical...I didn't read the post link but I hope he gave tons of credit to cm7 and the team..essentially its their work

Netarchy's 1.3.0.X+ above kernels have it. And yes it will affect your experience with CM7..... affecting in a positively way. It's so much better than the stock kernel.
It has support for Voodoo Color, Voodoo Color, BLN and a lot of other goodies.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=936219
NOTE: When you flash a newer version of CM7 afterwards. You'll have to flash the kernel after flashing CM7 as well because flashing CM7 replaces your kernel with the stock kernel.

Also recommended and not mentioned is the "No LED" app from the market... works by highlighting one or two pixils of the screen...
I never needed to mess witht the backlight stuffs... But still Netarchy's kernel is very worth it..

Should be able to - it's compatible with Infused v2 and Hellraiser ROMs, and I'm fairly certain that Mikey "pre-integrated" Hellraiser for us to create this ROM.
Worst case if it doesn't work, you can heimdall/odin the kernel from Mikey's zip.
Is it possible to get a mirror? I have no luck with File Sonic

My friend got his Droid Bionic the other day and I saw something interesting when he powers off his phone. The way it shuts off is fairly interesting and I was wondering if there was a way to get the G2x to shut off in the same way. It looks like how some TV's use to shut off.
That's the crt animation. A lot of roms have it. I know that cm7 and eaglesblood have it for sure. It would be safe to say that most cm based roms have it. There's an animation for turning on too.

Could you use root explorer to add an .oog audio file in the sub folder and name it something?Or go into system/bin. Open the boot animation file with the correct program and ad a line to lead to the audio file? I know really in depth but an idea. Might also have to link to framework which is to much trouble for me atleast as I dont have that kind of brains.
