[Q] RAM in notification bar - General Questions and Answers

I'm looking for an app that will show the availabe RAM in my Notification bar. I tried SysTray Monitor, but it just show 100MB constantly. I want something simple that just shows available RAM. Any suggestions?

quick app cleaner in the market shows how much memory you have left but it doesn't integrate into your notification bar unfortunately.

Try seepu I use the cpu/ram feature to know if my phones doing background stuff too

SeePU did the trick. I would prefer numbers, but I mainly needed some indicator of available RAM so I didn't have to have the full size Task Panel X widget on my homescreen. Thanks.

ZDbox
I use ZDbox (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.zdworks.android.toolbox), the only thing that adds to the notification bar is the battery status, but has a widget, "Task Killer", that displays the Free Mem.. I really like it.. Check it out. It's a good app.

That app is called Sysmonitor.
Its one (ram for you and i) in the bar and everything in the pull down

Any apps/widgets that let you preform certain gestures to open apps?

Long story short, I want a widget or an app that allows me to draw gestures on my home screen that can launch apps (like an M for market, etc). I'm trying a very minimal style atm, with a nearly complete blank screen to reduce clutter. Is there an invisible widget that I can draw symbols in? Or maybe just an app that runs in the background of my launcher?
Any help guys? Thanks.

Is there a notification consolidator?

I use a couple of applications (Widget Locker, Tasker, Juice Defender) that stay in the notification bar to prevent Android from killing them. My notification bar looks really cluttered because of all these apps but when I disable the notifications within the application, Android kills them.
I want to know is there an app that puts all my notifications in a notification (kinda like putting apps in a folder) to make the notification bar look less cluttered.
If there isn't I would like to know is there something else I can do to stop Android from killing these tasks (Just so you all know im using a Mytouch 4g that has 768MB of RAM so I don't think RAM is the issue)
Thanks a lot in advanced :-D
Sorry can't help, but I would like to know this too.

App Replacement for JB

I use Cool Tool from the market to display stats like CPU freq, CPU usage, and network traffic. What's nice about is it floats over the system bar at the bottom of the screen so it's always viewable unlike a widget on the home screen.
Anyone have an idea of a widget or similar app that can hover over any spot on the screen? I've tried searches on the app store and the internet. Not much luck.
I contacted the dev who stated that the app would not work going over the system bar with Jelly Bean.

Is it possible to add recent apps to the app switcher in Android 11/R ?

On 9/Pie, recents showed at the button of the app switcher, along witha search bar, and if I pulled up on that section, it would pull up the app drawer, which was really convenient.
But in 11 it appears to be gone, at least on the rom I am using (Xtended), instead it show a row of 5 quick buttons (like for clearing all apps) and free ram.
I have searched around here and the web generally, but can't find any info on customizing the app switcher. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
