Anyone know when a new DCS ROM is coming

running DCSv1.7 - is there any plans to release a new version of this rom - tried most of them and this is the most stable for my handset.

Sending the creator a PM will not help since he hasnt showed up as of march (he actually was no where to be found from feb to march then he showed up in march for a day then dissapeared again), (someone correct me if im wrong) but creating a new thread wont help either. just search for dcs 1.17 and you'll find the thread.
nevertheless dont get your hopes high as the dcs' roms have not been updated for quite a while, and as a former dcs user i would have loved for this roms to be continued but it probably wont happen. I also might suggest giving up waiting for it. JPHCCFC hope this help clarified all your questions.

Whats that mean? I know dcs were bomb roms for sure! Well ahead of his time but suddenly disappeared, maybe its a consipiracy?

it means that once apple opened their applications to the public many developers wanted to discover what they have been missing.
*However, most users here at xda find everything they need before transferring their knowledge for ****ty ass corporations attempting to label "their" concept innovative.

Radio leak / removed threads

A few threads have been removed the past few hours. These are regarding a leaked radio which is known to brick devices and has been taken from a compromised server.
Reposting will not be tolerated. Distribution through PM, or even hinting that you may be available to spread it through PM or other methods, will be treated as open reposting. "Vacations" will be dealt out to those who do so.
This is both for your own good as for the good of others. Some of you are able to read between the lines - I have read it in your posts - and good for you.
Have patience, it will come.

So that new radio that dissapeared is Mega crap also huh? How did wwe figure this out if knowone hardly has it. Just wondering I read it was an older version then the one currently being used by people like me. Is that a fact?

I think the important thing is to protect sources. Not sure if it is bricking or not. Though I don't want to be the one to find out.

I'm not sure, but this probably means GB release is very soon? Wouldn't that make sense?

It got pulled off every site within 2 mins. I just got lucky enough to snag it. But I will not distribute so please no pms asking for it

bamf team is coming out with a new sense 3.0 rom(there is a preview zip available in the bamf 2 beta thread) so im guessing there is something coming soon, he seemed to stop once the brick issue came about, so why else would they and others update and create new roms for GB radios.

It wont brink you, its just to protect sources and legal issues probably. Im using it and its much better than the first leak, only got one reboot in the few hours my phone was on

The fact that we have an MR2 Radio means GB could be right around the corner. I have had one reboot with it, (although that might have been a fluke, as the phone had 3% battery left), and so far it is very stable, and I wouldn't be surprised to see an official build out soon.

Is MIUI Lost Forever?

With the closing of RaverX3X's thread {rom}cwm-audiophileX-All your Roms Belong to Us (MIUI build), It leaves me and probably a few others out there, is the idea of having a fully working MIUI for our SGS4G still possible? Raver seemed to be the only Dev out there working on this for us but he has now closed his thread after weeks of promising that he would rebuild the MIUI ROM from the ground up and have it fully working for us. Are there any other Devs out there that are secretly working on this for us? Or, has it become a lost cause? Has Raver left us completely, or just got tired of the trolls attacking his thread? With all that said, Raver and many other Devs have brought us some really awesome ROMs and tools for our phones. So, if you guys are listening, we really appreciate what you have done for us thus far, and if there are any plans for the greats like Raver, Krylon360, Dsexton, and DrHonk to name a few, we would be more than overjoyed and appreciative! And to the Devs out there that are secretly working on new ROMs for us, my hat goes off to you and we can't wait to see what you have to offer...

well it's a lot of work, and he's probably tired of working on it, lol. I don't blame him at all, especially after he made some great roms (even a miui themed one).
sometimes people need to take a break, and quit working on things for a while. Then maybe later down the road, someone will pick it back up.

I was thinking the same thing, I heard a metro ui rom was coming, what is going on with that?

The only work that can really be done is reverse engineering the stock rom for the driver source code. I feel like that would be the most beneficial for the SK4G community, given the current state of Froyo roms. I love Ayoteddy's rom's. They are unparalelled when it comes to stability and speed. To help them, help us, I think it would be best if everybody in the community agreed on this sentiment and did their best to contribute. ((Hacking Samsung servers and retrieving source code, or reverse engineering what we've got. Doesn't really matter..))

Seems to be pretty dead, along with all of the megaUpload links, around here. )= At the very least, I'd like to see some of the stuff reuploaded and the links to the ROM's already made and such updated.

Interesting fact, the latest KJ2 update source hasn't been released. At all. The SGS4G Gingerbread update was put out in days....

yeah I've heard of the WP7 themed ROM but that was like the beginning of January and haven't seen anyone mention it recently, I got kinda excited when Trunks came n started making a ROM but then it just seemed like development stopped... As for upload links, what exactly are you looking for; I have GingerClone V2, Glorious Overdose V2, Smooth Maximus, ICS themed rom, and some other stuff that i might upload somewhere if you want

Anyway, probably the only way we would see more developer acton is if we get gingerbread... And even that's a given. Too bad, I really like this phone.

(Q) jellybean roms? ?

hey guys do you know where I can find some jellybean roms? I checked dev forum and all I can find is gb and ics roms why is the development going so slow here?? can you please give me link to other forums that have it already?
I've had ics for too long now and it's getting pretty boring and I heard there's supposed to be way better features in jellybean like wifi charging and hologram projection capabilities and stuff so I'm kind of tired of the delay and just being stuck with this crappy old technology in ics. I heard they already got it out for the vivid with cm10 too so it's pretty lame that we don't even have it yet even though our phones were released at the same time.
I don't get why Android has to be do fragmented I think it's going downhill as an os. Thinking about just giving up and getting an iPhone so I can actually get updates without waiting forever...
anyway someone should post link asap so I don't have to keep refreshing dev forum all day! I will even be sure to hit thanks button if you post it fast enough so hurry
