My outgoing gmails are getting stuck in my outbox. Rebooted a few times but still no luck. I'm receiving new gmails just fine. Anyone ever experience this?

This happened to me on my N1. What i did was uninstalled the updates for Gmail and than reinstalled them and it seemed to fix my problem.

Yeah mine just worked. I downloaded the Facebook app from the market though. I didn't know the phone came with one.

The Facebook Sync that came with the device isn't working for me either. "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly."

It's not working for me either... I get the same message as some other posters, "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." I have tried re-installing the facebook app, and removing the facebook account in Settings>Accounts and sync. No luck yet. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I haven't gotten mine to work either. I have the same errors as everyone else is reporting.
I don't see any other way of doing it via downloading a market app either.
I really don't care if it is integrated via samsung or an app, I just want to check it out.
Any suggestions?
Someone should try to contact AT&T or Samsung about this.
Having the same problem here. What did you do to accomplish the same with the Facebook app?
I don't know what happened but mine finally started working. I did root the device but I don't know if that had anything to do with it.
So facebook is now showing contacts on my phone, as far as actually properly 'syncing' I don't know yet.
However, they must have just fixed what was wrong with the connection.

Bloo is an app that'll give you notifications similar to the BB FB app when someone sends a message or makes a comment or even pokes you. Although I have had issues when I try to go to the photo that someone just commented about, bloo can't get there. But it does notify me. I just have to use the FB app if I want to reply back.

My fb sync is definitely not working either. I've probably tried it at least 15 times since sunday. A few hard resets, reseating battery and sim. Tried setting up fb sync as the very first thing after a hard reset so no other settings or accounts conflicted... Nothing. I would very much like this to work. Whats strange is that in the contacts application the activities tab pulls my news feed, but within my contacts and groups there are 0 contacts that show and I get the sync error saying it will be back shortly in the accounts settings.
any update on this? i really want my facebook contacts to sync.

Yep, same here. It pulls in my activities, but not my contacts with the very same error. I've read on some other forums that it's a FB error and resolves itself when it feels like it. But it does seem weird that it would get updates and not contacts unless it's pulling that from somewhere else. I'm wondering if it has to do with the security settings I have set up on FB?
Well I finally got it to work. Contacts sync 2 days ago but did have to lynk a few manually. Then it would just have a error if it tried to auto sync. Rooted my phone yesterday day and removed att apps and now it will sync every hour no problems. Duno if either helped but worth a shot.

I am having "Force Close" when I try to sync my contacts with google account. I am running stock build and not even rooted. Suddenly yesterday I had a force close and I tried to wait for a day, also restarted my phone twice between yesterday and today. Then I tried to dig into the problem and realized that it was a problem with contacts syncing. If I remove check mark from contacts and sync there is no problem. But when I try to sync contacts it gets force close.
I have plenty of apps on it and also plenty of customization. I do not want to do factory reset. I had set this phone up for about 25-30 days now. No problems untill now.
Please some one help me. Oh and it is my primary google account.

Somebody in this thread is saying that there is a problem with Google's sync, but I don't know if it is the same issue. Maybe try waiting it out for a day?
Also if you try a different Google Account does it have the same problem?
I don't know about that. As I have too many contacts. and my another email is just junk. It's only for fun stuff. So I can't check synching problems with that account.

if you are trying to sync contacts with your google.com account. google is having a global issue. I work for tmo so can confirm. no eta just keep trying.

Wondering if anyone can validate if any of the ROMS out there that fix the Exchange email bug where the email does not display correctly?
its really the only reason I would root since I'm about to return this damn phone if there's no solution.
how is it not displaying correctly. mine seems to be working so it could just be somethings up with yours for some reason. have you tried gonig to application manager and clearing data or cache for email and rebooting etc and etc... maybe its a setting in there?
I use exchange dozens of times a day.
Get with your IT department, maybe they're sending the mail formatted iba way that doesn't work with your mail app.
Failing that there are other exchanges apps on the market, try them.

Never had a problem with my Nexus or Razr. This is the only phone that has this problem. It's certain type of email. There are others with GS3 with same problem that I have. I read somewhere somehow html emails and exchange 2010 are involved.
I recently got the copy and paste bug for the Galaxy S Verizon. it was driving me crazy so I decided to root. I did a backup and then I attempted to fix it. The fix worked but then I had a whole other problem. Now whenever I make or receive a call, the screen goes blank and I get the error com.android.phone has stopped. Then my signal goes away and I have to reboot to get it back. I have search multiple forms and found that facebook sync can cause it, as well as some other third party apps with access to your contacts. I do not have a facebook and I have tried to unlink and unsync everything with no luck. Does anyone have any ideas?

I receive emails and am able to go on the play store just fine, but everything else isn't really working, especially my calendar.
I've recently changed roms-from Bam Android to Pacman-but I've had this problem for about a week before I changed, and its been almost two weeks now.
I've tried everything. Factory reset, disabling and re enabling accounts, clearing caches, downloading third party apps. But my calendar and contacts still won't sync-though I don't really care about the contacts one. In fact calendar isn't even in my sync list to be checked. Why is that? And can someone help me?

I'd personally check with the developer of the ROM you're using.
I'll try that but I personally think it's on Google's end. Cause it was acting like this on a different rom I was on, and now, all of a sudden my Play Store isn't syncing. I need to find a way to contact Google.
