a simple .apk for the gingerbread keyboard. everything works perfectly; vibration, multi touch. you dont even need to be rooted to use this.
The other one worked without root too I took the .apk out of the original flashable and just installed that but thanks for taking an annoying step out

Probably user error...
I attempted to install another file that was a .zip to get the keyboard, I did not do a wipe. I use the Virtuous ROM. The update I used did not seem to do anything and the keyboard was no different.
I attempted to use your APK to install and it won't let me install. Am I missing something? Did I boo boo?
Did you extract the files and then install with root explorer or a siimilar file browser?

.apk files are (java) .jar files which are actually .zip archives. The fact that they are named ".apk" reflects the fact that they always contain certain folders and files (including, but not limited to the manifest signature files and public key of the signer) - not "random crap"
Your file has nothing to extract. A valid app will contain folders named META-INF (always), res (usually), and some files with extensions of either .dex or .odex.
so i wanted to search but didnt now what terms to use in order to find what i need to know.
basically, after i install an .apk to my phone, can i delete the .apk file off my device?
as with windows, after you use the .exe to install, you can delete it
i thought for sure id have a few responses by now the way this forum moves lol
You may do so if you like. The apk is the installer file.

yes you can delete any .apk file that is downloaded to the phone. all you need to do is either download uninstaller by Rhytm Software in the market or you can just go into menu>settings>applications and go from there.
I found this a while ago and wanted to share it is and edited lib for the flash player that makes hulu think that your phone is a computer so you can watch hulu videos Make sure your browser has the setting for flash to always be on as opposed to on demand.
edit:you need a browser that can change your user agent like dolphin skyfire or xscope ect. set it to desktop/computer mode
Works on 2.2 and I use xscope browser should work for any browser. Dont know if it works on gingerbread it probably should . I'm using flash player 10.2 and it works fine
How-to
through root explorer
download and extract
libflashplayer.so.fix.10.1.105.7.zip
copy to /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib and overwrite the original libflashplayer.so and adjust permissions to a upside down U (permission may not be necessary?)

Tried with FreeX10 beta 4 and did not work on stock browser. Still recognized me as Android. I downloaded your fix directly to sdcard and extracted there. I deleted the old file and pasted the extracted file to the correct location. I also changed permissions to reverse U and rebooted. Any ideas?

Provided by tigerman1979 are the instructions he used to get hulu working on our g2x. thanks to nraudigy2 for posting the proper file.
This method works.
Get libflashplayer.so file here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=A670SIXH
Using Root Explorer, copy libflashplayer.so from sdcard to /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib/
Set permissions for libflashplayer.so to (rwxr-xr-x) or below
User: Read\Write\Execute
Group: Read\Execute
Others: Read\Execute
Last but not least. Change the user agent to desktop or if custom then Win.
Im not very good at this kinda thing but I hope it keeps us from having to run around looking for stuff.
Please post mirrors to the files so that registration is not required to download. This is against xda-developers forum rules. Thank you.
Ill just edit the first post. I wasnt hosting or do I host files. I Was just trying to show people How its done or that it can be done.
I am reading up on this...it looks like we have to remove the built-in Flash and push this to the /system/app folder and install from there?
I did this last night and all I had to do was uninstall flash updates, copy the libflashplayer.so file to the adobe flash player lib folder that I found in the forum about Hulu, reinstall the flash update from the market, and copy the .so file over again. I booted up dolphin browser HD and made sure it was set to display like a desktop computer, and Hulu works flawlessly!

i using eb 1.04 froyo i used root uninstaller to remove the orginal adobe apk, i got the modded apk pushed to my system app and installed it, when i go to hulu it tells me that abobe needs to be updated.. i found a new updated adobe apk in the htc thunder bolt fourm, and still no dice, maybe its the rom
It won't remove Flash 10.1 (default). So I can't really install the modded 10.3. Missing a few steps.

This is amazing! Tigerman1979's instructions worked, I did not even use the flash apk that was provided. I just downloaded it from the market.

This is how you do it
Thanks for the great instrctions. It works well
This worked great. One issue that I ran into is that after you complete these steps and before you go to Hulu, you need to go into your Dolphin HD settings and change the user agent to "Desktop" or it won't work (I'm a noob and didn't know this, so maybe there are some other noobs out there.)
Thanks for the tip!
Works great. Nice Work.
Is everyone's video's on hulu a bit choppy?
Working awesome without having to uninstall the flash updates from the market

Seems the .so file keeps getting replaced by the old one everytime I reboot. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I'm using Super Manager to move the file and set perm
When ever i try to download .apk files through the stock android browser (tried on a rooted evo and rooted charge) it tells me download is unsuccessful and wont let me download the file Is this an android limitation or is there a work around for this? (Besides using another browser )
I think you need a file viewer, try downloading es file explorer first, then redownload the file.

You can download "download all files" (or something like that) from the android market...it should allow you to download...all...files from the browser

+1. I installed 'Download All Files' so that I could get attachments out of the Gmail app.
Other option is using Astro file manager. Under preferences there's a check box for enabling browser downloads.
