Hi
I'm facing luncher FC issue if I use GMail widget, I didn't face before unlock and root the xoom!
If I use the widget nothing wrong happen unless I scroll to widget screen.
I cleared the luncher data to solve this issue but again if I use the widget it FC.
GMail app it self display emails with no issue.
I'm considering it as minor issue but I'll appreciate your help.

Does anyone know if there's a better fix for getting the stock gmail widget to refresh when new emails arrive, than having to delete the cache and data in in the Settings -> Applications every few days?
it just seems to stop working after a while..
Alternatives are going back to the Asus unread count widget and app, but I prefer the the gmail app.. or using the widget from Elixir2, but that polls rather than being fired up by a mail push which isn't as good imho..
.. anyone?!

I am using Holo and Zeam Launchers on Android 2.3.7. With both launchers I am having a problem with the Google Play Music widget: After reboot the widget is unresponsive and most of the controls including the cover photo is gone. I have to delete and load the widget again. Then it works until the next time I reboot. On the stock (Motorola) launcher the widget is not messed up after reboot, but I refuse to use a mediocre launcher based on needing one widget to work. Anyone else noticed this. and is there anything I can do?

You may have an SD card installed. I am trying to install to the internal memory.
OMG do i love SKY ICS 4.2e....I love that it is just like the S3's launcher. I've found one minor bug with the UI. The calendar app widgets(4x1 Agenda, 4x4 Month, and 4x2 literally crash the TWlauncher over and over as it tries to initiate the widget everytime. I read through the fixes and this is listed. Go into apps find twlauncher in the ALL APPS tab, go into the app and click the clear data button. This removes all your shortcuts but it fixes the launcher. I am wondering if there is anyway to use the calendar widgets? Anyway to install a different calendar apk or just use a different one all together? I really love the stock samsung calendar so I would like to figure a way to fix this. Any help would be great! Thanks!
I've just flash the PAC rom. But I face a problem about facebook hmome. I installed Nova launcher and it works well. However, with FB home, the system doesnt recognise it as a launcher but a app. Any suggestion to solve this problem?
I use both the Gmail inbox widget, which let's me preview and scroll through current mail without opening the Gmail app, and the Google Calendar widget which allows me to preview my calendar in agenda mode.
Both widgets have extreme lag in scrolling. Calendar has lag and sync/updating issues.
It was like this on my Edge (exchanged for regular S6) and on my new S6.
Anyone else experiencing problems like this?

I'm glad you mentioned this... I have the same issue as well... I only use the Google Calendar widget and that lags badly when scrolling through my agenda. When inside the app itself it is buttery smooth like everything else. Let me know if and when you find a solution that isn't an update.
I originally ignored this because let's face it... It's very minor.
Have the same issue , any updates?
