You need to go into download mode and use Odin to flash one of the ROM s posted here in the Dev section. Read up and use the search button. It will help you a lot.

If you downloaded the bat icon mod app by "Impaler" then it does not work for our device. I already sent him the files to update it but he is to busy.
Just do as the previous post says and you'll be back in no time.

Yes, thats correct. Although, this is an app you can download from the market. I think some people are confused when they look at what phone it works on. It does mention Galaxy S, but some mistake it for our phone.

Easiest method, Pull battery, put battery back in then
Hold Vol Up + Vol Down and plug your phone in with USB cable.
which rom should i download i have never done it ...
1.1.1 is the last version? because i installed it and it says it cannot be opened
In the development thread, there are two flavors. KB5 Deodexed which is the ROM that came with the phone, and the new KC1 Leak posted in there. Please read the threads in that section, there is alot of info that you might want to read before trying to flash.
i tried using odin i downloaded a rom and i click start with the rom and it just says succeded 0 failed 0 it won't do anything

Everything will be as if you just picked up your phone, provided you did not delete apps via terminal, or titanium. However this would have required root.

Ok, try this.
pull battery
put battery back in
hold Vol up + Vol dwn
connect USB cable
Do you hear a notification from your computer letting you know something was connected? Along with that, did your phone display the triangle and say Download?
If so, with Odin open you should see the com port light up yellow and display a com port number. If everything is good from here you should be good to go and flash. Just to make sure
The only check box in Odin that is checked is PDA, and it should be pointed to your .md5 file. If you are good there, then you can press start in Odin. Heres how you can tell that your making progress. There is a green progress bar in odin that should be moving, along with that, there is a blue progress bar on the phone that should be moving. Hopefully you can get to this point and let it complete. Once that is done the phone should reboot then bring you into recovery mode, just choose reboot device.
Hope this helps.
He's clearly not in download mode as evidenced by his attached picture.

Cool, you should be good then and you're only soft bricked. Once you finish downloading the stock ROM go into Odin and put the phone into download mode. Put your battery back in like JihadSquad suggested, as he is correct, and remove your sd card. Also, download the charge .pit file. Put the stock ROM file in PDA and the charge.pit in pit. Check Re-Partition and uncheck F. Reset Time and Auto Reboot and you're ready to flash. You should be good to go from there. If you have any more questions go to the Imnuts thread in Development How to Fix your phone.

your phone isn't bricked. Boot into cwm, and connect usb to computer. Go to mounts and storage then usb, it will make the skyrocket accessible on pc. Copy over darkside script and a rom of ur choice (I recommend tpc v3 which is rogers based, I use it as well). Then flash darkside, and flash tpc right after.
vol up/down + pwr button boots into Recovery... not Download. To use Odin: boot PC and open Odin... plug USB into computer (not phone yet)... power off phone... while holding vol up/down buttons, plug other end of USB into phone... this will boot phone into download mode... COM port in Odin will turn yellow when phone is recognized... or do what icenight above ^^^^suggested.

From what you're describing in using Odin it seems that it is losing connection (added, then removed, then added again).
Are you doing this on a laptop? If so you should try another usb port--probably the one closest to the power supply (or even if you're on a desktop pc and have another usb port to try).
I've had the same thing happen and found that it was because I wasn't using the powered usb port...
EDIT: You may also want to try re-installing the drivers before attempting and turning off anti-virus/firewall while using Odin.
And if this doesn't work mount USB and try suggestion above...

As mentioned by xcrazydx, your only option is a jtag fix. And if you mean Omega ROM, the first post in every official XDA thread says in quite clear bold letters what phone it is for, not sure how you could have missed that.

Hmm, so it flashes the CWM or TWRP successfully? At what point does it bootloop:
-once it Odin flashes and auto-reboots
or
-when you pull battery and try booting into recovery (home, power, volume up)? Are you releasing the power button once it first vibrates?
Also, I see you posted in the soft brick thread as well. Have you performed those steps?

I'm hoping that someone here can help me.
At this point I'm not even quite sure where I stand so I will do my best to explain. I ended up at a point where I was forced to use odin to try to restore my phone. I had done this before so i didn't think this was a big deal.
I tried flashing (with odin) the package found here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1984436&highlight=odin
That was going along seemingly fine until it suddenly failed. I don't know if the cable came loose or what... Then I was at a state that told me to use Kies to try to fix the firmware. I found a post, I'm not totally sure where at this point... If it would be helpful I am happy to search and find it again, that said they used the pit file to reformat their phone and then were able to restore it. I downloaded and flashed the pit file found here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30547929&postcount=47
I was then able to get back into download mode just fine and my computer will recognize it, however, whenever I try to flash a restore package with odin this is all i get:
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> root66_VZW_I535VRBMA2.tar.md5 is valid.

<ID:0/003> Initialzation..
<ID:0/003> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/003> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/003> aboot.mbn
It will then sit there forever (I think, I have left it for about an hour with no errors or progress)
Does anyone have any ideas?
If any more info would be helpful please just let me know.
Thanks!

When I first tried rooting mine, I had issues with recoveries not working for me. Thought I bricked it cause download screen was all that I could get. Try this and see if you still can get the stock firmware to boot...
Power-volume down-menu... You should get a warning screen, press volume down again to reboot. It should reboot to the stock firmware (mine did anyways...). If it does, check root status, use ezunlock 1.2 to verify/unlock the bootloader and rom manager to install the latest cwm recovery. I've stayed away from the touch recoveries and have had no issues at all...
If you end up back in Download mode again, you'll have to Odin back with the stock firmware to get the stock recovery back and start over...
Hope this helps...

ODIN failures are sometimes caused by bad USB connections. Make sure you are using a high quality USB cable (like the one that came with the phone), and also attach it to a USB port directly on the motherboard of your PC. So if you're using a tower PC, hook it up to a USB port in the back. On a laptop, use the USB port adjacent to all the audio/video inputs.

I think that this is what caused the first failure, however it is not what is causing the failures now... Any ideas how to get odin to get passed this step?

My problem is that I cannot Odin the stock firmware. It always gets stuck on aboot.mbn and never actually completes the odin restore.
