[Theme] Alpha7 for CM6.1 STABLE [UPDATE 1/25/11] now with themed apps

Ok, here is my first theme. It's based off of Gingerbread, just with a little more style and color.
thanks go out to ClassicalGas and the Impaler for getting me on the right direction.
Version 1.1 for CM6.1 Stable. It's not completely finished. There are still a few more apps I'd like to theme out.
Instructions:
1. Make a nandroid backup
2. If coming from another theme, I'd suggest wiping your cache
3. Flash theme
4. Reboot
5. Enjoy
*Edit* If you already have the Miui Music apk, Uninstall it first before flashing the theme, I had a problem with it not showing up otherwise*

Just finished miui music. Haven't made it flashable yet. I have a few more apps themed already, dialer and contacts. Ill have an update sometime this week.

Not yet, the stock version looks like sense. I was using one of signals themed versions until Lp put out its latest update.

you flash the zip, you dont extract it

Hmm... having an issue with that. I'm running cm7 asop and clockworkmod 3.0.0.5 and I wiped dalvik and cache but when I try to flash clockwork returns "amend scripting (update-script) is no longer supported switch to edify scripting" but the wording makes it sound like it has something to do with the zip file. Is there something I can do to fix?

yes this will not work with the new clockwork it needs to be v2.5 or lower to work, their arent easy tools at the moment to my knowledge to make an edified signed zip as there are signing the old way

Thanks for the info! Still trying to wrap my brain around android Modding coming from the iPhone world... but don't you need to update to clockwork 3 to flash asopcmod? So to flash these themes you have to revert to version 2x?

3.0 is only NEEDED to be used on like 3 devices (the nexus one, and i forget the other 2), you can flash it perfectly fine with 2.5, and yes to flash the themes for now you need to flash back till we get easy edify scripts

Are enough people using this theme for me to continue updating it?

you should go ahead and get on the Heinz_57 ROM and hit this up, now talking down to phidelt and his work at all, but this has a few more features than his ROM...try it out and see if you like it

where is the wallpaper image for these themes stored? It's not showing on the lock screen so I was going to try and reset it was the wallpaper in hopes that the lockscreen background gets set to it.

thats not the 1 i ported from...but ill do this update with that 1....you can be my tester and see if all the apps themed...ill handle that 1 tomorrow

UPDATE : Added Newer link for the newer release of the Heinz_57 ROM!!!! This newer Version uses Edify Scripting so it will work on CWM 3!!!

I tried flashing with both the old and new CWM and it worked fine for both.

Does the new clockwork recovery work with showcase? If so can we just ODIN the red voodoo CWM 3.x from times_infinity? Thanks.

Maybe I missed this is some thread but, miui lockscreen on this Rom/theme locks up, fc's and boot loops. Had to reflash sfc then hnz57 to fix it. Thought I was totally screwed for a minute there. Now I see its a problem sbrissen is fixing. Warning to all , don't use miui lockscreen yet! Oh, and thanks for the theme! Nice work.

np sir...yea that why im still on the first release of Heinz_57 ROM...dont feel like dealing with MIUI lockscreen yet

This theme was update to the newest version of the Heinz_57 ROM built on 5/3/11!!!

Not to disparage a great theme, but is there any way you could tweak the notification text color? White on light gray is a little hard to read

this is how the original maker of the theme made it...if its not like this i believe it will screw up text else where

updated this theme to work with Dfgas's update to 5/7/11

The colors of the bubbles in the messaging application are very dark and the text that shows up is black. Is this just happening to me as it is very hard to read. Thanks!
