[Question] Pink ROM

I was thinking about making a all hot pink and black ROM. Around the same themed like HoneySense. So what you guys think? Do you guys and gals want one?

I say give it a shot. Too many roms (I'm not complaining ), but not enough themes. Are these going to be for froyo, gingerbread, or aosp?

Well that depends , are you going to incorperate different mods then honeysense, or are you wanting it to be just like honey sense but in hot pink ?

Im thinking of a honeycomb looking Froyo ROM with Sense 3. Yes?

I'd prefer asop theme rather than rom ;-}
But as long as it is totally rad ill probably tear your framework up and move it around myself.
So point is, do it up, froyo with sense 3,0 is probably best choice.

Goodbye g2x

So after 2replacements and still having issue with a screen bleeding and random reboots tmo kinda force me to get sensation, what a shame ehh. So I would like thanks for all u guys making this section so friendly and helpfull

Yeah I tried leaving the g2x, but this thing is awesome

Don't leave the G2x for the Sensation. I own both and the Sensation thus far is a major disappointment. If you want to leave for a different at least go with SGS2.

I left my g2x for the crapsation, worst mistake ever.. Now I have a g2x again and i'm a happy clam..

Hold out for the Hercules or Prime, not the Sensation. Sensation has what will soon be inferior hardware and it's got its own set of problems.

Don't forget that the HTC Ruby is dropping soon too. It is really not any different than the Sensation plus has a better ffc. People will see both on a tmo table and undoubtedly choose the Ruby. Sensation is dead in the water as far as I'm concerned. I do miss the big screen but 4.5" SAMOLED+ should pretty much give me an eyegasm and make me forget about watching Netflix on my old Sensation.

Touchwiz rom possible?

I know this will probably inspire a lot of flaming, but I really don't care about others opinions. I'm interested in porting a touchwiz rom and need some good advice as which phone to port from, and blah blah blah onwards. Anyone have some pointers?

Yeah, this is the same launcher I've tried before and it's way too buggy for me to use. It won't add widgets or remove shortcuts without crashing. That was why I'd rather just build a touchwiz rom that way the launcher isn't really much of an issue

touchwiz is FAR from AOSP.....
it is as intertwined with framework, drivers, and dependencies as sense is.
i just dont see it happening on this device.

Lovely..... Touchwiz launchers hate me and we can't port it. Looks like I'm stuck with sense.

Yes g2x has better support and actually costs more. Its all up to you id do it because I like the games....
But the support can change just sucks for the moment as far as the mt4g slide is concerned.

Yes that is worth it. The g2x had most of the hardware and software by now. My wife is getting the g2x tomorrow. It has awesome dev support and i will be deving for it as well now that my wife will have it. And it has access to NVIDIA tegra zone for games. Im actually jealious of my wife. LOL.

LG has quietly fixed most of the hardware issues and gingerbread fixed most of the software related issues. The g2x is a beast now with most issues finally fixed.

My fiancee has the g2x and she loves it. I need to install cm7 on her phone though . I love the my mt4gs because it has a full keyboard, the camera is awesome, and its fast . I like the g2x because of nVidia lol

Check the date it was manufatured. If its an early build Run for the hills. If its a later build like my wifes new one then buy it. If its used its probably an early build.

U have to take his word. Even some of the newer ones have problems. It's better to get them off the marketplace then someone who will be impossible

As most user's here have rooted phones, I see no reason to be disappointed. If you want ICS, it will be as simple as flashing CM9.

Most of us don't give a F about stock sense based carrier rom. Which is usually 6-8months behind the current development revision. But that is why we are on XDA and thanks to CM-Team 4.x branch would be CM9. But I can tell you that it will be ported unofficially by 5-6months before HTC/TMo even if they had plans for it.

I hate the layout, look and quality of the "vanilla" gingerbread camera. If ICS's cam app is sexy like the htc/sense looking one i might actually use CM roms, or anyones for that matter. until then i dunno why ppl hate on sense. my phone runs fast and smooth with no issues
