[Q] htc desire brick?

he guys!
i need a little help and i can't seem to find a thread that might help me.
i have an htc desire (root+s-off) and two days ago tried to flash a new rom. and as i was already at it flashed the newest radio version and an sd-alignment, because i had just before had had to flash the original shipped rom because my phone didn't react anymore. so i did the root and s-off again, flashed all three zips and rebooted. after that my display went black and nothing happened for a while so i removed the battery and tried to restart the phone but it didn't. i tried to connect it to my computer and it doesn't recognize the device anymore.
either i removed the battery too early and bricked it or it was a bad idea to flash 3zips at the same time.
has anybody encountered this before and is there sth i can do?
any help will be greatly appreciated.

Can you boot into the bootloader through Vol - and Power button?

unfortunately no.
device does not react at all. i can push any button but the phone stays dead. screen stays black, no LED flashing, doesn't vibrate, nothing!

Maby its time to part as equals and donate it to the dev team?
Do you want to help out developers? Got a broken device?

the desire won't help them because it has a snapdragon cpu.
is there really no possibility to fix this?

maybe a too simple solution, but could the battery be dead or empty?
since you get absolutely no reponse...

I considered that too but the battery was NOT empty when the phone died.
I thought it might still be that the battery is just broken but I read that when you take out the battery and connect the phone to your computer or plug in the charger the LED still flashes. And with my phone it doesn't.

Your led won't flash if your phone is off. Try taking out the battery and plugging the phone in to the charger and see if it turns on.

How long do you let it charge before trying to turn on? If its right dead, then you should probably leave it plugged in for ten minutes or so before trying to turn it on.

But if I take out the battery how can it charge?
I thought if I take out the battery and plug it in, it should come back to life immediately?
But if you think that could help, I'll be happy to try.
So let me sum this up to be sure I got it right:
I take out the battery, plug it in, wait for a couple minutes and then try turning it on, right?

YOu should take the battery by pluging it at least 5 - 10 minute for sure it is already charging then try to turn on your phone again, this might work

im not sure the phone will work at all without the battery in place (haven't tested)
But i think that Kenny means, putting the battery in and letting it charge for a little while before trying.

The phone will work while plugged in without the battery. But try what Kenny suggested.

I bricked my HTC desire S. When i open it will stuck to bootloop, drained the battery, i cannot charge the phone. it always turn off.
Can someone help me fix this?

Phone won't turn on SOLVED

Hi there my phone decided to turn off today at work and would not turn back on,got home plugged into the charger no led light. Tried pulling battery for 1min still nothing even tried different charger and still dead as a dodo. Anyone got any ideas how to get it back to life.

At the end try to use another charged battery

Would have tried that but have no spare battery, plus the phone was on about 80% charge when it turned off

What happens when you try to turn it on? How does the phone respond?
Try this- hold the vol down key and press the power button. Hold both till you see a white screen. Tell me what you see there.

No vibration,no led nothing at all. Going to borrow a multimeter and check the battery voltage today, really hope it's a dead battery.

Right just put a multimeter across the battery and got a reading of 3.95v, so the battery should be good. What is likely to have gone as the phone was fine one moment then dead, If it as dead as it is what are the chances of them telling I was S-off and rooted under a warranty repair?

I'm a noob but common sense tells me that they won't find since it looks like a hardware problem.

Quick update sent the phone in on warranty to virgin and it was not repairable,new handset sent out with no mention of it being rooted. Cherry on top it's running hboot version 0.98.0002 so I can revolutionary S-off and still keep warranty.

My mom currently using my HTC Sensation, she told me there was something that said reboot, so i was guessing that it was on recovery or bootloader. So she REBOOTED it :O
now the phone wont turn on. Ive tried pulling the battery out then putting in back in and of course turning it on. but no luck still. i changed the battery to a fully charged one, still no luck. i cant access the bootloader or recovery either.
everytime i try to press the power button, the screen lights up a little then turns back to black. it looks like its out of battery but its not if you know what i mean.
if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it.

Did you try while the phone is plugged in charger ??

its not recognizing it at all. Not at all.
i guess it is bricked.

I also have the HTC Sensation and got this problem after mixing up unlocking. Basically I know that the battery is ok and that the screen is also ok. There should probably be some physical button to press in order to restore firmware but Iḿ not sure on that. Im offer $10 to whomever can assist me/us in this problem...

[Q] Sensation wont boot, only backlight sometimes

Hi.
My sensation wont turn on. It was low on battery, and suddenly it went black. When i connect it to a charger, nothing happens, only sometimes the backlight turns on.
I have tried another battery, and that wont work either.
I had cm7.1.0 kang7, and it has been fine all the time until now.
Cant find it in adb or fastboot.
Is it a brick, or are there something i not have been thinking of?

How long have you let it sit on the charger undisturbed

Yesterday i had it in the charger over night, but the LED still wont turn on...
I tried the battery in another phone, and that works just fine.

No. If i pull the battery and leave it out for some minutes, the screen backlight turns on when i plug it in again and tap the powerbutton. Then, it stays on for a couple of minutes, before it goes all black again.

Hmmmm, that's weird... You might want and tell them what's going on and see if you can get a replacement under warranty... With it not booting up, you shouldn't have to worry about them finding out that it is rooted, if yours is

No, adb does not detect it. I will try to get it fixed through warranty, even tho i ordered a new One x yesterday.

Some users have reported that their phone has shut off like you and their phone never worked since then seems like your just unlucky :/

[SOLVED][Q] HTC Sensation won't turn on

On Monday night I used the Juopunut bear S-OFF method successfully and then installed ClockworkMod Recovery and Cyanogen Mod 10. It was working like a dream I absolutely loved it. I restarted it many times etc and it worked completely fine, I had zero issues. However last night, I turned the phone off and then plugged it in to charge. When I woke up this morning I cannot turn it on, no matter what I do. When I plug it in to the charger the orange light turns on for about 1 second and then turns off. Is my phone bricked? Is my battery dead? Thanks in advance

try to boot into bootloader
if it enters then it is not bricked
and try this
remove battery,sim and sdcard and charge the device as it is for 5-6 hours
put them back and switch the device on

I'm pretty sure it's not bricked. I've left it plugged in to my pc and the charing light is now flashing! I have hope that it will be ok How can you charge the phone without the battery?

the device itself has a little energy stored in case when the battery is fully uncharged
ok then if the led is showing red now boot to bootloader and select reboot
see how it goes

It's blinking orange every second, not completely charging. Should I just let it do that for 10 or 20 min? This is with the battery in btw

yeap leave it for a while

It works!
After letting it charge for about 20min while the orange led blinked on and off every second I unplugged it, held down the power button, and the beautiful HTC logo illuminated across my screen. I'm now up and running and the device is charging. I'm very glad I didn't buy a new battery for $40. I'm hoping this will never happen again but if it does I won't be alarmed. If anyone out there is having a similar issue do not fret!

Problems with HTC Sensation
My HTC Sensation has become unusable due to faults that have recently developed. I sent it off to HTC but apparently it has 'water damage' even though I've always been incredibly careful with it and never dropped it in a puddle or anything.
I'm new to this website so I'm not sure how to go about getting advice.
If someone could help me on how to get some answers it would be much appreciated.

I dropped my mobile in water, dried it with hair dryer left it fir a week and then it started again.
