yes i flashed a rom quite a few days ago- did a wipe on everything -rom loaded everything runs find ... twisted sense 1.5 with kernel that comes with sorry for my spelling trying to figure out whats going on anyway back to the problem at hand
im having issues were i could be doing anything on my tb all of a sudden it resets to the htc loading screen im like ok just a minor thing but it is now getting on my nerves i feel like i might of done something wrong yet im very cautious on how i flash rom using rom manager and its up to date of course. so i was thinking should i change it back to stock to see if that might cure my reset woes ? or just unroot and take it back ? any suggestions are helpful
This seems to be a known issue and is related to the new radio. Did you flash that?

yes i did flash the radio
Try reverting your radio back to stock (there is a thread in the Dev section) and see if it helps. I have been having this issue too, but it isn't bothering me enough right now to change it. Also I'm not sure if you can use the new framework with the old radio -- you may have to use an older ROM.
thats what im going to try
I have the new radio and I have never experienced resetting with any of the roms, etc. I might just be one of the lucky ones!

Damn that was harsh! lol really the first thing should have been to try a different kernel. It has become known with the tb they are not all created equal. Kernels or I should say switching them can make a big difference.

Well my problem with resetting still exisits i returned to stock now
i seem to still be having this problem...
so hopped over to verizon to speak with someone about this and they
told me this was a functionality of the phone that they could send
me a replacement out but would cost me shipping and handling and also
stated if they didnt find anything wrong with it that i would have to
pay full retail !!! i was like BS *&^&&%^%^ *^%^%$&^$% well you get
the point.
i still have the same tbolt just trying to figure out what to do now was thinking of returning for another tbolt but fear
that this so called " functionality " of the phone ... any suggestions?
my phone was fine until I decided to flash the new radio. I reverted back to stock radio and I'm still getting reboots
yes same here i told verizon about my tbolt self resets like once every hour if im on it they told me it was a part of the functionality of the tbolt
My old one did that.
My old TBolt did that, kind of like resetting the Sense interface (which takes forever). I called them and talked with a really nice guy, and he explained a hard reboot should fix it (which didn't and I lost my call, and got connected with a capital B the next time around _-_)
I also was having issues with the memory card getting "wiped" (data still there, just not viewable in phone) and (the kicker) my phone would reach temperatures of 69degC while charging, while off.
That last one had them change it out right quick.
No automatic resets at all here, and I've had it on and using it most of the time throughout the LTE outage and after. No resets when on EvDO/HRPD; no resets when on LTE/eHRPD; no resets when on EvDO/eHRPD. It only resets when I tell it to!
As for the connection, well... I do get the occasional dropout on LTE. More problems tonight than most nights with that. But EvDO seems to be pretty stable as always.
i didnt have any problems during the outage since im not in a 4g lte area

Just a FYI for you, I do not have problems with reboots nor do I have most problems most say they are having, however my tb just did not like twisted sense 1.5. For me anyway I couldn't stay on it very long.
I have an idea if you want to give it a try. it will take some time and effort but on the other hand it just might save you the trouble of having to return your tb.
First, do a full wipe of data/cache, do it twice to be sure. flash BAMF, (either one don't matter). once you boot up go to settings/SD & phone storage and do a factory reset. let it reset and come back up. it will take a while to boot and you might even get errors which is ok.
Now hit the power button and reboot into recovery again wipe data/cache 3x, wipe cache 3x.
now try to install your rom. just for the heck of it at least for now stay away from twisted sense. I would use BAMF at least till you see if this solves your problem.
once you have your rom installed flash imoseyon's (SAFE) kernel.
If you do try this let me know how you make out. This has solved many issues for me in the past many times.
actually I stand corrected it was NOT twisted sense that gave me a problem it was tesla coil that I had problems with. so your choice there.

I created this thread to help those who have made a rookie mistake like me. I have the latest Amon Recovery 2.3 and was not aware that the system wipe setting would do just what it says. I used this wipe a few times before the problems started. I flash ROMS as fast as they come out. So here is what happened, I was using MIUI latest ROM at the time 1.2.19 ... and I am on cricKet so I was having problems with a few things on there and I thought the ROM was to blame, so I kept trying to get it to work, (which I finally did)
but....
what I did was a system wipe which I don't recommend unless you plan to put your phone back to stock. I had no idea what I did and I lost my 3G, my phone was now locked and it reverted back to stock for most of my settings.
After trying to figure out what I did wrong, I got to the point where I almost re-did my whole phone back to stock and started from scratch, which is not very fun especially when it has been over a year since I rooted and unlocked my phone. Who took my stickies!! .. lol
SO HERE'S THE FIX....
I posted this link to make things easier, as you can see I didn't write this part but I wanted to make things easier for anyone who has made the same mistake.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=704161
A BIG THANKS GOES OUT TO killac93 for re-posting this as I was having a hard time finding my stickies.. lol
This will fix your EVO or other cricKet or Metro phones who have lost their settings or for anyone trying to get their settings right so your phone will work.
UPDATE:
It has come to my attention .. it was the MIUI ROM 1.2.19 .. it wasn't my fault after all ... the ROM wiped all my data .. almost .. it put my phone back to the stock lock code and reverted my custom settings ... BEWARE!!! Don't use 1.2.19 it has bugs
Actually MIUI just doesn't like kernals with HAVS .. so any version will do this.
***3/21/2011 UPDATE ***
The reason it reboots is b/c the ROM doesn't like HAVS .. therefore you need to change wifi settings to never sleep .. that should fix the problem
My phone shuts down all by it's self once or twice a day. It occurs on multiple roms. I really want to find out why. Can someone tell me how I can log wat happens?
Since I don't know when and why it shuts down I would likely need a logger wich writes to a log file so I can look back what the problem is.
I suspect it to be a hardware problem... (Don't hope so but it happens on multiple roms)
Thanks everybody
What kernels have been used with the roms?

Change kernels. Go from 1.5ghz to 1.2 via daemon controller or another CPU adjuster.
The bricked 0.91 also fixes most issues too as stated above

Before you suspect Hardware.. Check first your software.. I'f i were you, i'll back up all my roms.. full / super wipe, then check it on by one.. lets say IC for first 2 days then ARHD on the 3nd-4th day.. If it does not shut down, it only means one thing, its not HARDWARE, it can be software.. Check also your chosen Kernel on your flashed ROM.. there might be an incompatibility running multiple different roms and kernels..
hope i'd help.. click thanks if i enlighten you so far..
Okay, I'm back from a weekend away.
What I did before I went away (Friday afternoon) is:
- Reboot to Recovery
- Wipe cache, wipe dalvik, wipe data
- install zip: Super-wipe (just to be sure)
- Install zip: InsertCoin 3.3.0
- install zip: InsertCoin 3.3.1
It all went well until Saturday evening. It was off when I got it out of my pocket. i tried to turn it on and it booted up. If it is on there is no problem at all. It stays on all the time...... Until I unlock my sim with my personal code. 2 seconds atfter that the phone turns off...
Since the problem reoccurred I tried the following things:
- Wipe cache, reboot (problem still exists)
- Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, reboot (problem still exists)
- Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, wipe data, reboot (problem still exists)
- Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, wipe data, Super-Wipe, re-install rom, reboot (problem still exists)
Is there a way to test the hardware to rule it out? The problem occurred in three different roms and got worse. I really can't see how this could be a software problem.
I'm now going to download the latest stock rom and see what happens...
I had the same problem I'm on tmobile sensation 4g in the us and I think all us sensations have the problem... When I was using any rom that was based on the experimental sense 3.5 base my phone would turn off/crash I tried all different Roms but the problem still occured, I though about it and installed revolution hd with sense 3.0 and still on the old base and the problem is gone. I'm waiting for the official release of the new sense 3.5. Hope it helps
I had the problem on 3.5 and non 3.5 based roms. CM7, Android revolution XE, android revolution sense 3.5 and Insert Coin XE sense 3.5. The last one I mentioned was the worst and I even couldn't get past the security code.
I now installed a shipped Rom. Let's see what happens.
In my first post I asked if there was a log file in which I can see why it shuts down. can anyone shed a light on that?

I am having the same problems. I tried all of the same roms you have tried and as of last week I have decided to unroot my phone and return it to stock rom and recovery. after a week I am still getting the same random reboots. the only non stock part of my phone is that it is still S-Off, but I think im going to have to learn how to put stock S-On and go yell at the T-mobile guys to see if I can get a new phone.
If you can come up with anything better I would be willing to try it. the reboots are killing me.
This issue sucks. I'm glad I'm not the only one that has it though lol. I've also gone back to stock rom, no root/S-ON etc. Just to rule out the possibility that it's something funky going on with custom roms, kernels etc. So far I do still have random shutdowns, possibly a little less than I did before, but still there nonetheless. To get S-ON again, flash the RUU appropriate for your phone, then get into fastboot and type
fastboot oem writesecureflag 3
and then
fastboot reboot-bootloader
More on all this is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1201773
As far as logs to track down what is going on, I think it might be in lastkmsg. Unfortunately I don't know exactly where to find that or what to look for exactly.
And as stated twice before me, the problem still exists. I'm going to undo all changes to the Sensation and see what happens. If the problem is still there the phone will go back for warranty.
And again my old trustworthy HD2 saves the day as a backup...
I've never experience having a reboot with a super wipe then flashing a custom rom.. i do it almost everyday.. maybe its already a hardware since software installation (roms, and kernels) are clean when you do the flashing.. Has your phone experience some accidents? like fell on the ground?
Not that I know of.
I'm not new to flashing and I'm a real flashoholic. Nothing ever went wrong with flashing. Where other people would have problems with a certain ROM I could always enjoy the Rom without trouble.
I installed the eu version of the shipped roms. the problem seems to be different again. Nof it shuts down far less then before but I have to pull the battery to get it to boot up again.
I hope I have enough time today to S-on the phone. Does anybody know if the box states which version number it was shiped with? I know it's EU but there are different version numbers. (or is that not impotant)
Thanks for your help everybody.
I think the problem is the battery. I bought a new battery, the evo3d batery and so far I have not had this issue again.
Problem is solved. I got a free board swap and now everything is working again. So it was a hardware defect.
Thanks for the help all.
A while back I rooted and flashed Revolution HD 3.6.4 on my Sensation without any issues; noticed immediate improvements, and was really pleased with the performance and battery life. Only issue was the occasional boot loop which I remedied by flashing a Bricked kernel.
Fast forward to two nights ago…
My parents also have Sensations and were not very happy with them so I convinced them let me root them which I did.
I did to their phones exactly what I did to mine, including; s-off, perma root, CWM, nandroid backup, flash ARHD 3.6.4 w/ bricked kernel.
The weird part is both of them are now having identical issues with their phones; really slow, 4hr battery life and laggy.
However…
I was sure to wipe the battery stats by draining the battery to complete shutoff, recharging to 100% (basically overnight 8hr+ charge) and erase battery stats from within CWM
I did not do a Titanium backup because a)they really didn’t have much installed, app-wise and b)I thought a fresh install would be cleaner without trying to recover any settings
I made sure to run the Revolution HD Super wipe before flashing the Rom
Installed the HTC Bricked kernel
The only thing different about their phones than my phone is they never applied the official HTC OTA major update. I went into this thinking it would not matter since we’re installing a new rom anyway but perhaps I’m wrong???
Why would two freshly-rooted phones exhibit the same issues?
I’m planning on re-flashing their phones later this week with the newer ARHD 3.6.5 rom (which I just did to mine ) hoping this will clear up any issues they’re having but want to make sure I’m not doing something wrong first…
Let me ask a more direct question.
Can I flash the new Revolution HD 3.6.5 (including the bundled faux kernel) to a phone that has not had the HTC Sense OTA update? Or will issues arise?
I think the problem is radio wise. Install the recommended radio and see if it solve the problem

Hi,
The issue is most probably the kernel.
Try installing the latest.
You have two choices.
1.faux.(in my sig)
2.bricked.(HERE)
Seeing as you have two phones to play with, why not try one on each.

I flashed both their phones with the bricked kernel when I installed the rom originally.
If the problem isn't due to the older Sense version being installed what I plan on doing is flash both phones with ARHD 3.6.5 and leave the bundled kernel installed (have the 3.6.5 with new faux on my phone and so far so good).
I can try the radio flash also but I never had to flash the radio on my phone and all three phones are identical (bought them at the exact same time; family plan-thing).

Hi,
I have never updated via OTA,and I never will.(Do not trust what it will do to my phone)
There are known issues with the bundled kernels.
Both of the latest kernels have had good reviews.
Just saying.
The OTA could've updated your radio.

Check if you have recommended radio or not. If not, flash recommended radio. Then,
Try to download ARHD 3.6.5 (check MD5), download latest kenels of your choice.
- Super wipe
- Flash Room, and reboot (just set up phone, dont set google account and facebook yet).
- If you want do flash roomcleaner: reboot into recovery and flash roomcleaner.
- If not, just reboot in recovery, wipe cache and wipe davik cache, then flash kenel of your choice.
- Reboot, set up your google account, facebook account, email account, etc...
- If phone experiences a bit lag during turning page to page in homescreen. Just reboot again. After that you can do all battery calibration, flashing mods or themes.
It may be too careful but that just to make sure I dont mess up everything with flashing.
Hope this help!

Hi,
ROM cleaner is flashed immediately after flashing the ROM, without any reboot.
Thanks for all the advice. I just got a call from my mom today saying her phone dies real fast and every time she takes a photo the screen goes black resulting in a battery-pull.
I gotta fix their ****z pronto.
I hyped the whole rooting thing up pretty good after flashing my phone, so far their experiences are pretty bad.
@ stevendph, I'll do exactly as you outlined. Thanks for the step by step.
fwiw the radio is whatever was on the phone from the time of purchase. Ill flash it as well with the 'recommend' radio.
So the consensus is to go back to the Bricked kernel and overwrite the new "updated" Faux kernel bundled in the ROM???

Yep, it's can be flashed immediately or after 1st reboot, the result will be the same as roomcleaner's function is to delete system apps, files, skin and wallpaper (which are useless or you dont use). Those also can do it manually but yes painfull .
As i stated before, it's just i am doing carefully to watch if is there anything wrong with room flashing, then continue flash other things. What i did was flash, check, flash, check... until having what neccessary -->nandroid backup, flash, check, etc . Just me to be careful
@Okors: related to kenels, just make sure you notice this.
- Faux latest kenels 0.24r1 is really good and stable (if you have 0.24 beta 7, you dont need to update, as they are same).
- Bricked kenels: v1.5 final has the problem with camera, playback video (sometimes for some devices) as blackscreen, freezing. Version 1.4r1 is really good and stable (without Zram enable). Version 1.5 beta #490 with zram, working great for me anytime including camera, playback, etc... but there are reports from someone that they have lags (i dont)...
That's all what i know when testing and reading reports about these kenels, you have the right to choose what is suite for you.
I would just flash Pyramid 3D and 0.91 Bricked, check if GPS and camera work, then call it a day. If GPS doesn't work you could always try my fix or crypted's, boh are flashable.
Pyramid 3D has been the most stable and the fastest out of all the ROMs that I've tried without having to extensively customize for myself. Honestly though, I would just flash your parents stock again. Doesn't sound like they are power users.

To be honest, I'm mostly after the improved battery life for them. You're right, they're not power users; in fact the phones are way to "smart" for them. Their biggest complaint is battery life (as was mine before I rooted).
At this point I just want to get their phones back to a stable state. It's frustrating because I NEVER had any of these issues when I flashed my phone.
Even the kernels, radios, etc didn't make 'much' of a difference. I was blessed with a really, really stable flash right out of the gate
I even updated to the latest ARHD and bundled faux kernel and my phone is rock solid.
Both of my parents are coming over tonight for dinner. I'm planning on reflashing them to ARHD 3.6.5. using the steps outlined earlier. Hopefully all goes well or it's restore-to-stock time.

Hi,
May I suggest using the 3.6.x series with the 0.9.1 bricked kernel, found HERE
I put it on my son's Sensation, and he loves the stability and battery life.
He's not a power user.
He just wants a smartphone that works.
Just a thought.
You could also try the stock rom xe by eddyos. Everything works fine and battery last for 14 to 24 hrs in medium to light usage.

Hi guys, please tell me what the heck I am doing wrong with ICS ROMs because I just feel powerless.
Tried some time ago OnceICS ROM (on 3.12 firmware), then switched to Virtuous Inquisition, then Virtuous Quattro (3.24 firmware) and now I'm on newest OnceICS on 3.24 unlocked firmware.
Every ROM change was dictated by the fact that my ROM kept turning off very randomly - on data transfer (I guess), after sending/receiving SMS, before/after phonecall - no rule, once it worked, another time I had like 10 turn offs per hour. Can't even do a logcat because it mostly happens when I'm out of home, where the signal can or is lower than at home (where I have full and barely no turn offs).
Every ROM change I hope this one gonna work but the problem still remains.
Sitting on supercid, did wipes, superwipes, fix permissions, battery wipe, no OC kernels, changed recovery to 4ext touch..
I flashed OnceICS yesterday I thought it is finally fine. But today it started rebooting like every before. probably today I will flash just once a sense rom like insertcoin, but I have no hope.
What is wrong with my phone? :\
insert-coin is not a de-sensed ROM
Did you by any chance restore data from a backup after flashing the ROM because this can often cause this sort of bugs
Whoops I meant "sense rom like insertcoin" because I tried roms with sense stripped out.
I do not restore data, I do titanium backup, sometimes use it to restore some apps but none of system stuff (contacts are synced by google, sms are restored by Go SMS Pro, everything else I configure on every reinstall). Like right now, I have plain OnceICS with only few apps installed from market but I had turn offs before I installed them too so I don't think they are the problem here :\
Maybe you should install a factory ROM first, to look if it solves your problem..?

Agreed, try a Gingerbread ROM then you can figure out whether it's an ICS problem alone or possibly hardware related.
Yeah I will probably install gingerbread :/ But, damn, ICS is awesome, I like it very much, especially the way it behaves and looks. It's sad I need to go back to gingerbread
Don't give up, if Gingerbread runs well, just try again (maybe another) ICS ROM.

It's a bummer but if it's a hardware fault best to find it and get it sorted IMO.
It was fine before I switched to ICS. But ok, tomorrow morining, gingerbread strike back. What's the best 2.3 ROM right now? Because there is quite a mess in "android development" forums because of ICS.

MR. Edge, first let me say I feel your pain I myself went through exactly what you are going through. I thought I was going to have to get a new phone. But then I found this Post:
http://media.xda-developers.com/images/icons/icon2.gif
I know you said you did all these things but it wont hurt at this point to double check yourself and make sure everything is done correctly. I have had my sensation since June and have been rooted since july so I thought I knew everything there was to know about this phone. turns out I didnt lol and I still dont know what I missed but after I follwed this guide step by step I was able to load ARHD 6.1 without any issues. I have been auto off free for 3 days and counting.
and if that dosent work you can still go back to GB and ARHD has a nice rom for that as well. Good Luck

I'm on 3.12 F/W and happily run Virtuous Inquisition (or Quattro) and CM7 on the phone.
All the ICS based ROMs are a bit un-stable as they're based on un-released binaries from HTC. As you might tell from the ROMs I listed I'm more into AOSP based ones than Sense ones.
The battery life I have now is better than ever, TBH not certain if that's ICS, Radio or F/W.

For AOSP ROM , I suggest Virtuous Inquisition till CM official released for sensation...
Thanks for answers, I gave up for now, switched to 1.17 fw and cm7. I miss ICS
So far it works fine but not as smooth as ICS. But the most I miss rotation animation
Jesus, what is going on :\ I'm on CM7 right now and it can turn off as well :\ Tomorrow I will install stock rom... Before I started playing with ICS everything was fine, no turn offs :\
If I were in your shoes I would reflash the RUU for your device and rule out a hardware failure. Not to mention if anything is left over from all of your flashes it can lead to problems. Just start over, don't ask for help and then be stubborn about the suggested solutions.
OK I will do so
I was about to post a thread but google pointed me here. I have the EXACT same problem as you do Cliff. I highly doubt it is caused by hardware, and as Tez recommended I followed that guide verbatim. Still having problems. It's so frustrating because I LOVE ICS.
Right now I'm on stock ROM, dedicated to my phone (rubbish Orange PL branding etc.), rooted it just to restore some games.
and it still can turn off from time to time :\ I've had no such issue before trying ICS. Dunno what else I can do.
For me, it's starting to seem more and more like the battery stats are way off. But no matter how many times I wipe them and try to re-calibrate, it still gets way off within a day or two.
Cliff, did your percentages jump around each time you turned your phone back on?
I have these problems too !! I'm going to s off and send to HTC

Hi,
Can you mod k2ul version kernel?
@xpirt
Would you be willing to make a tutorial on here as to how you did this, the requirements needed to accomplish it, and what to check for, as well as the changes which must be made for such a modification? I am asking this so many will learn and as well take the idea and possibly grow from it by coming up with even better ideas in the future. Without the knowledge or know how then this will only keep people in the dark and nobody wins from this. You don't have to make a tutorial, but if you were to do so it would be very much appreciated friend.

If someone gives me stock k2_ul kernel I can mod it as well.
@Modding.MyMind I modded it with cygwin kitchen, you can unpack any kernel and edit its ramdisk. The file modded is default.prop.

Added k2_ul version! @bataya

I know you have the mod, but what about write protection for this kernel for those who are S-On?

Will this let people use rom toolbox to change the notification icons like wifi icon cell signal icon and so forth?

Not this, this is the kernel. To use toolbox a deodexed system + root/busybox should be enough.

Experiment went awry!!!! Ended with a nice surprise!!!
So this is a an interesting story. I have tried many ways to finish flashing the OTA's after I have implemented the RUU. None seemed to work. I was missing a key step pull out the firmware.:silly: duh. Im still a very real noob here and learning on my own. And I was on github the other day browsing and searching and there was a put an uncompiled SE supported string for a kernel of our dear phone the PLC. So grabbed and immediatly started browsing reading and learning placing things here and their....I learn hands on, not from stories or guides. Well things quickly went wrong like many of you reading this are thinking and I wound up with a big paper weight hahahaha. No biggie I got 4 different nandroids that I have compiled and the RUU right I am good.
NO SO FAST nandroids wont flash something about error 23 or 24. RUU I ran 4 times deleted re downloaded and ran again nothing. Again I am still not in panic mode I have enough hardware on my computer to makeshift something to get the RUU to download. I dont know how this happened somehow in the midst of my scramble to get my phone back I had put in an old hboot radio and ics boot img. See my phone has never run ics before. So now I was staring at drivers failing cause their is no OS RUU isnt working nandroids wont work. My phone is down and my computer when I take it to work has no internet. I went through my archives and found the data for the binaries and the data for an ics rom but it was bare bones but heck I had no other choice. So I through the old firmware mixed with bits of the newer kernel.
I booted from recovery with adb to oem-78 which I believe is the updater portion of RUU. I ran the the firmware from their I first relocked bootloader before I did this. I did not take the first time/ flush the zip and run it again took like a charm. I then went back to fastboot flashed TWRP 2.6 instead of my normal 2.7 just cause I wanted to booted into recovery no problem. While in recovery I flashed the ICS stock rom like the firmware did not take. No worries ran it again and worked the second time. then wiped cache and dalvic flashed superSU 2.0.2 which was bought from play store and donated for zip thanks btw. and busybox X. booted into bootloader rebooted bootloader like a dozen times and flashed the ICS boot img. twice seems like the theme hear.
K bear with me I know I am long winded. Tried booting into the system after another dozen times rebooting bootloader. finally gave up went back to recovery reflashed ICS rom only once and then did busybox and SU another time for good measure. I did an avance wipe of dalvic and cache this time. booted straight to system and put the phone down came backe 20 min later it was working I played around it was glitch bad but working. I let it be for another 30 min. Came back rebooted a couple times and went to recovery to instantly backup as all mine where now worthless. When I got home I noticed it wouldnt receive wifi signal after playing around I downloaded the latest OTA for the 4.1.2 JB and the 4.5 sense update. Pulled the firmware flashed that after replacing the HBOOT with an old version and then found my other SD card and pulled a bunch of saved stuff off and found a stock JB 4.5 sense rom. flashed like above steps basically to the amount of reboots. lol. I finally got it to boot and within the hour I am running a smooth JB 4.1.2 sense 4+ OS thats what android tuner says my Hboot however says
Unlocked
K2_PLC_CL PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
CID 11111111
HBOOT 1.01.0000< oldest one i've seen lol.
Radio 1.12.00.0208
OpenDSP- v 10.2.0268.0401
eMMC-boot
Feb 8 2013, 16: 29: 40:-1
As u see no line for OS and well no os and no data associated with eMMC just the boot. Everything seems to run way way way smoother now thought even before I started messing around. No lag perfect signal. My call problems gone only thing is my batt percent and my mms but those are pre existing problems I am working on.
My kernel says I am the 3.4 variation. On my phone and in all my apps. Except rom tool box it says I am 3.2
I wrote this hopefully a true dev can take what I did and come up with something amazing that can be used across the board of the ONE SV users. Thanks oh some how my toggle switches all turned orange in bootloader and all my highlited things in the rom turned green dont know how that happened either. :fingers-crossed:

so are you saying that you flashed this kernel?
what exactly do you want a dev to do? i think, by reading what you said, that what you did was, try to compile a kernel with bits and pieces, and when you flashed it, it didnt work? so you tried to restore a backup that you also 'compiled'(?), which failed as well. you then flashed an older hboot which allowed your update to take.... the downgrade to update has stumped lots, including me. its basically the process of manual updating. these phones are all different because the partitions are in different locations in the device. and certain varients have no sim card slot. the radios are running "different channels" etc...
sorry for continuing off topic..
Thanks for the kernel and all your work
