Here's the deal: I have a cyanogenmod rom installed on my hd2, and got too comfortable with theme chooser... now that I got myself an xperia play, I miss having the ability to change the theme on the whole phone, not just an ADW launcher theme thingy! so is there a way? probably a stupid question, but pulling theme chooser and manager from cyanogenmod won't work, right?
Cheers, Peter

Hey all. I've got Enom's 1.8.1 update with goodies and running NexTheme 2.
I've got a question...
I like most of the theme, but do any of you know if I can install particular widgets that are stock? If so, how - where - ???
Thanks in advance!!!!
(if not, I am really liking the glass and eclair look to my pure calendar and beautiful widgets.... maybe you can recommend a glass theme that would work with Enom's 1.8.1??)
Why are more themers NOT using the theme manager in CM7? I think this is one of the absolute COOLEST additions to CM7 and cant find that many themes that support it.
What gives? It it SO much better than having to boto to recovery and flash every time, and if you dont like it, its SUPER easy to get back.

I still like to flash because I know it's made for my device. Plus, correct me if I'm wrong.. but theme chooser doesn't give you things llike widgets?
I use Sonnys themes here because it gives me a bunch of widgets and apps that are themed.. as well as lockscreens, notification pulldowns.
That said, I wouldn't have an issue applying a theme then pushing the widgets I want, but I haven't found any that are really my style.

I think themers are still unlocking the potential of theme manager. Over the past two weeks I've seen more and more complex themes being released. Personally I love the theme manager and how easy it make to hop from theme to theme.
I'll be keeping my themes flashable for a while still. In order to get them on theme manager, I'd have to re-do everything (again). Also, themes installed through the theme manager app can't modify a lot of things that make a theme look "complete" and I'd rather release a flashable theme that covers all the bases than a theme for the theme manager that only gives you half of it.
I hust recently discovered that app Chooser was in my list after toying with the nightlies for some time. Iowa's quoted excited to be able to switch to rovers theme in there, but decided to flash the frosty(?) theme. I ended up losing my clock and noticed that a lot of rovers stuff was left over (kinda nice as I like the batt/signal icons). Any way...is there an appropriate process to getting new themes to fully take? I had to restore in order to get my clock back rather than just reapply the theme.

Reapply the System theme in the Theme Chooser. Then reboot. Success.

I'm looking for a theme that is blue-ish (similar to honeycomb theme I use now on EB1.05) for use on the new CM7 RC1. Cyanogen pointed me to an ADW theme, but I don't use ADW launcher...I use SPB Shell.
synergy cm7 theme in market free u can install that with cm's built in theme chooser then reboot, also for matching icons synergy has a adw cm7 theme for the built in adw settings cm has and there ok, i myself have the tron legacy icons didnt see tron lol but nice icons
Correct sarni, I think cyan pointed him to themes for theme chooser, not really adw.
Suprah..."no cyanogen, rom manager still fake flashes the roms thats y for nvidia phones we have to use nvflash"
Most CM7 themes are in the market, just search CM themes... or honeycomb theme.
I'm pretty sure Cyanogen pointed him to the actual theme because I looked at it and it had everything themed, not just the icons.
Here is the link Cyanogen posted:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.gfxandroid.honeybreadtheme
It is the actual HoneyComb CM7 theme. Again all of these can be searched, downloaded, and installed right from the market app.
While your at it, search for "Captivated". It is my favorite theme.
Hey guys! I'm currently looking for a nice, balanced, "dark" theme. I'm currently running on Liquid RC5, so I would also like something that would look good with that.
Search theme chooser in the market it's by jrummy and that will help you find one otherwise look in the android theme section here on xda
Install the theme called "Black ADW Theme".
