have run bw for a long time, the clocks and weather skins look beautiful. Love the owrk being done with fancy widgets but some of the clock skins have a barring effect on the gradients and the miui weather (and some other weather skins) have a nasty halo/shadow on them. I'm running a stock 2.2 captivate with lpp. Any ideas why bw looks so much crisper?

i hate to be picky. but it seems that all of the live wallpapers out there have one color or even more even have all or mostly black backgrounds that are just too dark to fully appreciate my widgets and icons (beautiful widgets and weather widgets have translucent frames). so what ends up happening is i keep going back to the "nexus" live wallpaper. i love all of wallpapers being developed but i would love to see some more texture and color.
I had that same problem. The only widget I use is the Beautiful Home Widget. What I ended up doing was the Starfield live wallpaper with the "naked" Beautiful Widget skin which actually looks really good.
i use beautiful widgets with naked skin with earth live wallpaper and chose one background of the three it gives. Its excellent.

Yea, i do love the rotating earth live wallpaper but its the exception to the rule.
There is one app called Live Waterpaper....u can make ANY picture from gallery as a Live Wallpaper(somewhat, with ripples).U should try that.
I'm using that one. It's nice and subtle, my favorite so far.
Is it possible to have these widget on a non-Sense rom?
I have the Hero ones and they're working...but the resolution is horrible

And the Toggle Widgets can't be skinned (only the clock can be skinned...)
I hate the stock clock/weather widget but I am in love with those full screen weather animations on unlock.
I'm just gunna throw this out there, it would be badass if someone could modify the native htc clock/weather widget to be a 4x1 widget similar to the yr.no 4x1 weather widget. That way people could have the best of both worlds, badass lightning/wiper blades on their screen without the clock taking all that valuable screen real estate!

Right, but then you lose the full screen weather animations when you unlock, right? I was under the impression these were only possible with the HTC widget.
I'm not sure. I know you can get a live wallpaper that shows the weather with beautiful widgets...
What you want, is for the Dev of Cookie HomeTab to make the same for the EVO as he has done for the HD2. Great customization for the sense UI, while still keeping full functionality. Weather animations and all.
I checked it out. Almost makes me want a WinMo device.....almost lol. An android port of that would be amazing. Co0kieMonster's donate button would probably blow up even more if that happened....
i just came over to the Evo from Energy Rom on Windows Mobile. I had cookie on that, and I think it's the ONLY thing (Besides easy wifi tethering) that i miss on my touch pro 2.
Sincerely hoping for a similar clock like the one in CHT for winmo... requested it over at ppcgeeks a while ago with no results.... really miss that also

To those who have used beautiful widgets & live weather wallpaper how does the live weather wallpaper compare to htc's weather animations?
I'm tired of the big clock all together, but love the weather animations. The big clock can look good, but I wear a watch and the time is up top also so what waste of realestate. I'd like to keep the weather widget though (with the animations) so really hoping there will be a way to make it more configurable like Cookie did (more so even -no clock!). Also would really like it if moon phases could be incorporated too.

The live wallpaper looks really good and is really customizable.
My only issue is I don't really like live wallpapers.
The bw widget will show an animation when you tap the weather part of the widget, i would love if there was an option to display that animation over the home screen when you unlock the device. It would be perfect!

Coming from several HTC phones, I'm looking for this as well. From what I can see, the picture doesn't match any of the suggestions exactly. The clock has the lines in the middle and the weather data is immediately below the clock, in the same "box".
The 3D Flip Clock & World Weather widget has the date and time in that box and the weather below. I don't see any flip clocks in Beautiful Widgets or Fancy Widgets.
Does that one really flip. Cos the one in beautiful Widgets doesn't actually flip.

It might be Fancy Widgets with H7C theme installed. Try it out. You need to buy the full version.

Could you post a link and maybe a picture or screen shot? I searched through the Market and Google and haven't found any Miui clocks that flip and look like the one in the OP.
Is it possible, and does anyone have a working set of LG UI2 Widgets (particularly the 4x2 & 4x3 Weather home widgets) for ICS CM9 ROM? I have only found that the weather 2x2 widget works...
