XDA News Reader App- All Platforms- free-ad free - General Topics

Hi Folks
Sorry if this has been done a zillion times but I made a small app that downloads for all platforms except Bada I think...
Its fast and brilliant for checking out the latest xda headlines. It looks a mess I guess as i am not a graphics/app builder type persona. It has a widget 4x1 and saves me a hell of alot of time looking for good stuff in ALL fone forums. It feeds from the RSS/atom headlines links so thanks xda for making this possible.
I have 2 androids so any other OS let me know if you can't get it, or if you can actually!

[APP IDEA] Forums on your HD2

I thought today about all the forums I use. I use a lot as I am sure most of you do. Most forums tend to be built the same way, threads, reply buttons, quote buttons etc etc.
Would it be possible to create an app whereby a forum was condensed onto your phone? No need to use a web browser and have to constantly zoom in and out and mess around with too much directional scrolling. You see I was using twitter on my HD2 today and I just thought that a forum set out like the twitter boxes with all the individual tweets would be pretty cool. Click on your thread and browse with various text size options etc.
The initial screen of the app would have a box to enter the URL of your desired forum and also a list of saved forums or favourites.
Could this be possible?
Thanks.
i like the idea, sounds really good....not sure if it would work though......
+1 for this.
+1 Me too .. it will be Great tool !!
I thought there was already an XDA app. I know there is one for Android.
Yeah; I too would like to see a WinMo app for this.
glad you all agree, we just need someone to dev it!
There is one, but it doesnt fully work. Ill see if i can find it
That was easy using search http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=540504

XDA Forum App

Not sure if this has been created already. I've browsed the site and didn't come across it.
In any case, I thought this would be a great app. That allows you to read and post replies from within an app. Perhaps a little customization, allowing the user to choose the forums he/she frequents? Updates and post and the such?
Well, I think it would be a good idea. RSS feeds are cool, in fact I primarily use it for news, but it doesn't allow you to post and create threads.
there is one for android pretty good too. should not be to difficult to create.
ya, there is 1 for Android, but sadly none for winmo..
Maybe we can get those guys that developed the Android app to work on a WinMo app?

XML/RSS Reader

I am completely new to the app making side of android and my buddy wants to try and create a app for his phone where it looks just like the engadget app and pulls the rss or xml feeds from his news site ands organizes everything for him, does an open source version of that exist or are there any good coding examples?
Thanks in advance
I am looking for the same thing, I want to start using them on my sites but lack the know hot to build one. I am willing to learn but have had very little luck so far.
If any dev out there would be as kind to help out that would be great.
What I would like to build is just the basic app and make is as east as editing some images and changing the feed url before sending it to the market.

Japanese interactive animated girl apps

Hey guys, sorry if I'm not doing everything properly (I'm a noob and this is my first post).
I've been looking at and downloading fun apps fitting the description in the title.
These are the ones I've got so far:
【かわいいライブ壁紙】はなまる日記 or jp.shimnn.android.flowergirl
DREAM C CLUB PureClock-Amane- or jp.co.d3p.dreamclock00.amane
Eyepatch maid or jp.wfa.sumaso.livewallpaper01b
Girl Live Wallpaper or com.blocco.app.action.livewallpaper.international. maid
MiraiClock3 or jp.culturejapan.mirai
チューニングラバークロック or jp.windeal.chu2clock1
とーきんがーるずっ! or com.wani.talkin2
なでなで目覚まし。「かのん」 or jp.interlink.moealarm
モグモグゆなちゃん or jp.illusion.orega
ヤンデレ彼女 or net.eternalsoftware.yanderex
If anybody knows of some similar apps and how and where to get them, it'd be great of you could share you're knowledge.
Some really good apps (of these types) are only available in Japan and for certain android devices.
It takes a lot of work but finding these apps online is usually possible.
Also, feel free to share your favorite Japanese apps!
Thanks for any help that can be provided, I don't see a similar thread on XDA-Developers and Google isn't helping much, so I hope to create a thread where information can be exchanged about these kind or similar Japanese apps.

Disclaimer: not my work, just sharing this great app!
Hi, I want to share this great app with everyone interested. After strugling with tapatalk, official xda app and many other I came over this app and after testing it I kept it as my deffault xda app. I never experienced any problems with loading, crashes..... as with the other apps. Everything seems clean and simple to me. I like the design very much as well! And maybe the best of all is that the dev is very comunicative and helpful. So if you find a bug or you have a feature to request he is going to do his best to help you. This is what he says on play store and I absolutely agree with it!
