Let me know what you think.
Return the dock and get a universal one and put the case back on your phone. You wouldn't want to damage the phone!

I think i might it doesn't seem to be that great anyway. Do you have any suggestions for a universal one? I have tried several that were terrible.
I am using an Arkon SM514 car dock. Worked great with my G2 and works really good with the G2x. It is a pretty tight fit with the G2x given its so long. I am crossing my fingers for incipio to come out with the feather case for the G2x. That would fit great with this car dock. They have this dock at Amazon.com in stock for $12.95 plus shipping. Check it out.
Thanks ill have to check that out. I bought one from Walmart a few months ago and broke it before i got it in the car.
I bought one off amazon, brand name was kensington. Costs 10$ and worth penny.

I have about $170 dollars left over from buying christmas presents for my family and cannot think of anything better then decking out my G2 with goodies and accessories.
Things I am looking for specifically.
-screen protector
-desk dock
-car dock
If there is anything else you think I should get feel free to post it.
I have a black tattoo rubberized body case from accessory geeks so I do not need a full body case.
Also where can I buy a replacement aluminum battery door? I put my G2 in the same pocket I put my wallet that has steel accents on it and it scratched the door all to heck.
Thanks to any and all that post.

I'm quite pleased with the arkon car mount I bought. They have all different kinds of mounting options too (suction cup / cup holder / chair bolt / etc).
Won't eat up too much of your fund either: mine was under $20.
One things for sure check out skinomi for screen protectors. Cheap for great screen protectors. Personally I've yet to order mine (doing it this week) but from reviews on the forums. Many XDA members recommend Skinomi. Thin, durable, and according to some. You feel like your the screen protector isn't there.

The car mount looks sweet, I'm ordering one now.
fancy shmancy case
ohh you got 170 do you?... Well I spoiled my dad with this case from Col. Littleton and I suggest you do the same. Its made in America and there is definitely a quality difference compared to a pleather Made in C$$$. I went with the black one. You can even get it engraved.

PS - yes it fits the G2 perfectly
I got my Case-Mate Tough and I am really liking it.
The hard outer shell allows for easy removal from pockets, which is huge for me.
Overall, I like it a little more than an Otterbox Defender I had for the iPhone. I feel like it will protect just as well and it is simpler and less bulky. I feel like a normal drop, from a normal height, it will hold up just as well as a Defender.
I would definitely recommend this case.
I ordered one last night. I had it for the Nexus One and loved it. Can't wait for it to get here.
Where did you buy it from and do you have any pics of the case.
Any comments on the included screen protection? I am trying to decide between ordering one of these and waiting for an Otterbox commuter or defender.
Screen protection?

most screen protectors that come with these cases are garbage, you're better off shelling out a few extra bucks and getting a zagg or clear coat.

Don't guess you looked very hard. My first Google search brought this up:
http://www.case-mate.com/HTC-Desire-HD/Case-Mate-HTC-Desire-HD-Barely-There-Case.asp
$19.99 direct from CaseMate. A little cheaper than on the AT&T site that had them for 24.99 but I don't know about shipping costs.
Got one for the Inspire and one for the HD2, $29.98 total shipped.
Case-Mate site has free 4-6 day shipping.
Thanks for the heads up OP!
i picked one up at work today and it really nice, color me impressed. Still thinking about getting the pop! case from them as well.
Screen protector that came with it is not great but it works. Had a zagg on my first inspire and I didn't like it. I couldn't remove it and reuse it so AT&T has it now, but the spray you put on the film leaves bubbles underneath and that bugged me.

I just got mine today. I love the case but
I thought the case mate tough didn't cover the buttons?
and mine didn't come with a screen protector?
I ordered from ATT
Just bought one.

Was going to post this. Currently have the poetic case (rebranded acase) but it takes too much room on a desk when using it, annoying to try to use in conjunction with a keyboard. Not to mention using it outside of a desk or one handed is troublesome too, but I don't think this case will fix that either.
I have the poetic case too. Two things i dont like with that case is it doesn't lock properly when you are setting it at certain angles. And the speakers get covered as well.
The poetic looks neat though.

Able too Charge on the TouchStone Dock while still in this case, GREAT. . .
I Couldnt Pass up a Deal like this, Thanks for the Assist. .
Just Bought one. . .
The price has gone up. Sky rocketed to $19.99. LOL!
That sux. . . But still a good investment. . .

Yeah. I still ordered one.
Still a great deal!! Thank you so much for the info. Bought one and now I have to wait =(
I got a couple few days ago. I should be getting them delivered today.
I have two TPs. One with this case and my CM9 unit with the Poetic case. Poetic case is nice but bulky and it does not protec the corners. My 3 year old was playing with my CM9 unit and dropped it on to a pavement right on the corners where it's not covered. No real damage but those scratch marks will haunt me.
I received my case yesterday. (HP's shipping is super fast! Love it!) It's an awesome case. I didn't realize it was like a hard rubberized case either. I thought it was leather. Very pleased with the purchase.
Guess that's why your case cost more..... I ordered mine first, but u already got yours. . I have too wait too Monday :[ for it too be delivered. . .

I bought a case for $10 and a couple sleeves for $2. The case is ok. Somewhat flimsy. Don't think it's worth more than $10. The sleeve is really nice for the price of $2. Similar material as the case.
great to hear! Should be getting mine tomorrow or Tuesday!pretty excited, my tp has a few scratches on the back which annoy me, be nice to get a case on it. Especially hearing about how nice this case is

I have been using the incipio case till now. Got in on this deal and while it is nice it is a tight fit. Do I now need to worry about getting the cracks near the Touchpad speakers so many others have been reporting?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
really liking this case so far. It is a tight fit, which is nice. But as people have been talking about cracks around the speakers on tight fitting cases, I am a little worried but really not to much. I already have a slight crack on one of the speakers, so not a big deal, the case hides all that =)
While the $10 deal is dead, Amazon now has it for $12.50......
Amazon also has the Touchstone for $40 as well.....
I bought this case, but ima use it when I travel, I also bought an black silicone case for my touchpad and it fits perfect an it charges while on the touchstone without having to remove it.
best thing it only cost $5.49
Here's the link if anybody is interested in a black silicone case for touchpad.

How snug is the silicone case? I hate when they're all slippy and slidy on a device! How much more thickness does it add?

The one i linked too, fits perfectly it actually has a little more silicone on it , so it wraps around the black void part of the screen. . . It adds a good amount of thickness, in my opinion about the thickness of a quarter....

Hi All,
I'm looking for recommendations for a Touchpad case that will work with a Touchstone. I've heard nothing but positive things about the Targus Truss case, except that it is too thick to work with the Touchstone. I've heard that the Poetic Slimbook case will work with the Touchstone. Anyone have one? Any comments?
Or do I just go with the genuine HP case, which I assume works with the Touchstone?
Any reasonably slim case will be ok as long as there's no metal in it. I have my TP in a tpu case inside a fairly hefty leatherette case and it charges fine on the touchstone.
I saw go with the genuine since it works with the touchstone and offers the best value by offering protection and flips to be a stand. It's also pretty slim.

i have the incipio and it works as well.
Using the HP case, love it.
I just got one from wall mart called m edge. It was actually one of the only few that fit. It let's you rotate 360° while still attached and folds to a stand. Only $30. And slim and simple

I have the HP one.
It looks and feels good, its usable as a stand and works fine the the touckstone also. never tried another but i am very please with this one.

i would go with the Hp touchpad products.
haven't tried any cases with a touchstone yet but I do have the Original case and a pleather Chinese case thats horrible.
The original case is significantly better. till the areas near the volume and charge port stretch out for no apparent reason. Seems to be a common defect for it though.
I have the stock folio cases on mine. They work fine with the touchstone dock. Though the flap on the cover eventually sags.
Why the touchstone is still expensive....

Resurrecting it only because this bloody fantastic tablet is still popular.
I use the touchstone with the Targus, the OEM case from HP and TPU cases I pickup years ago. No problems.
I wish that I could still find the TPU type cases...
Touchstones are still around on FleaBay for $20 on up and there's some $$$$ ones on Amazon also.
_D.
Anyone have any tips on the best place to get an s-view case that is good? Looking for a cheaper version of the real one or if anyone knows of of a good knockoff. Thanks.

There is a Spigen case with S-View for Galaxy S4. It looks quite interesting:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=455344027&pf_rd_i=468294
Tigerdirect has genuine Samsung wireless charging s-view cases in white for $5 after a $25 rebate. Got mine today. I like the way it looks. It sits flat on the screen. It charges wirelessly without any fiddling. But there is no hole for the notification light. And it can be a little tough to open it since the cover fits flush with the edge. If I get the rebate, $5 well spent.
Is there any way to open apps like camera using the s-view on Galaxy S4?
