Hi everyone. I have been looking everywhere i can and i cannot find any existing threads explaining how to fix this.
First off I am a little bit of a noob when it comes to rooting. I rooted my phone using a one-click method yesterday and was flashing roms fine. I couldnt find anything i liked last night so i restored the backup i made. This morning i was going to flash CM9. My phone was fine this morning. I turned off my phone and went into fastboot mode. When i went to recovery it came right back into fastboot mode saying "no boot or recovery image". No matter how i turn the phone on it goes to fastboot mode. Also, i can't seem to get my computer to recognize my phone no matter what i try. I have pulled the battery and left it out for 30 minutes and still nothing.
What am i missing.
Thank you in advance for any help.
I had a similar situation, don't get stressed, basically u'll have to force the phone into recovery, delete all the files in regards to android on ur pc, restart it, same for the phone, I don't exactly remember where it is but I think is around here on the forums at XDA that explain how to force the Nexus to be recognized by Windows again, or ;look it up on Google, lessons learned!!!
Also check the posts about Nexus being stuck on Boot and similar.

Since your in fast boot try to go to recovery. From recovery try to delete data and cache. Then try to reflash your rom. Chances are if it will not work. Maybe the file you downloaded is corrupted and u need to download it again.
PS don't forget to do a nand backup before flashing any rom or update.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA

Was the phone previously rooted with ClockWorkMod Recovery installed?
What was the last thing you did on the phone before it got to this state?
What guide did you follow to NVFlash back to stock?
Just in case i dont get back to this thread until tommrow, Try following This guide.
IMMEDIATELY after following that guide, flash This ROM.
Boot into that rom, and after its all booted up, you can shut down.
Now you should be able to go into recovery and flash any ROM you want.
DO NOT SKIP ANY STEPS!!!! if you don't flash the OTA Rom Immediately after following the first guide, you will not be able to access your internal sd card.
Hey thanks my dude it worked and I am back online.

when you plug in your phone, dont let windows choose the drivers, click the button that says you will choose what driver to use, then point it to the ENTIRE folder with the APX driver in it.

My phone went dead after I wiped the cache through ROM Manager. I was trying to install CyanogenMod & this happened.
Now phone not going into Download mode, recovery mode. Nothing is working, just dead.
Someone help me..
I followed this links w.mobilescommunity.com/android-tips-tutorial/208463-how-root-samsung-galaxy-s-blaze-4g.html instructions to a "T" and when the phone came back on it stops at the welcome screen no matter what. I tried to install ClockworkMod Recovery per these instructions /theunlockr.com/2012/04/17/how-to-root-and-install-clockworkmod-recovery-on-samsung-galaxy-blaze-4g/ and it seemed to work as I get the OMR mode when I try to get the download screen without having it already cable connected to the PC. When I have it connected to the PC I am able to get to the "Download" mode. OI! I never have had a problem rooting before. The stock OS ICS 4.0.4 was on it and I bought it new from T-Mobile and then it did the OTA update a week ago. I have had nothing on it other than stock and a few camera apps. I have already tried to return it to OEM with the OMR recovery but its still the same, always booting to the welcome screen. When I try to get it into a mode, ether the recovery mode or the download mode, it sometimes vibrates several times and then "May" go into one or the other depending if its cable tethered or not. HELP PLEASE, I disabled and this is my only outside contact short of coming into town to use the Internet at a cafe. Thanks, Jeff

----- Did you ever get your Blaze fixed?....
pretty much the same problem i have!!! i currently have the samsung galaxy s blaze and rooted it to the custom rom from konane using the odis program, it said passed and auto rebooted my phone, but when it gets to the home screen where you touch the android to set up your phone like its brand new, when i hit the android bot all that happens is a message force closing a bunch of apps appear. i can get to the download mode to install new roms and i've tried to re root back to the stock rom but now my computer doesnt recognize my phone. i've downloaded and installed the samsung drivers from several different forums including the ones recommended here but still nothing. what im wondering is if theres a way to install the rom or driver from an sd card to the phone or something else that im missing, or is my phone just screwed? any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Please guys, my galaxy S2 SHW-M20K (Korean) is in trouble.
I bought it from a 2nd hand shop , and it was runing Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean (rooted stock rom). I had no problem with it till today when I tried to install "CWM Recovery", After searching the web i found a post with two files that supposedly could do the task. These files are:
1. CWM_KT_M250K.tar
2. Tegrak-Kernel-Build-39-for-SHW-M250K-UE18.tar
Using Odin, I triedd the first file but it couldn't work, and the phone could not boot so i downloaded the "rooted factory firmware" and flashed the phone. Everything was ok. Later I tried the second file. Again the phone could not boot and stuck at the logo with a yellow triangle. After waiting for about 5 minutes I tried to shut it down by pressing the power button it did'nt respond. (Now this is a point that I regret), I removed the battery as a way of forcing to turn it off.
Now my phone cannot boot. It doesn't respond to power button, neither does it allow me to enter recovery mode nor download mode. But When i connect to the charger or pc, it start charging and keeps cutting off the charging frequently. But it only allows me to enter download mode when connected to pc. When I tried to flash the "rooted factory firmware", again, the flashing goes smoothly but when the phone starts rebooting it fails as if there is a power cut. Is my battery damaged? Can someone give me a guide on how to fix it?
I need your help gus, I am not an expert in the rootings and roms,
Pardon My English. It's a foreign language to me.

As u mentioned, I think that your phone has gone to a Soft Brick. I don't know much about the Korean build, so Google it to solve the Soft Brick. Try flashing the stock rom via odin but I don't recommend it since it may cause your phone to be hard bricked if not done properly.
So go to the service centre, you'll get more help there

I thank you sir for responding to this. From what you have said, I think the best decision is to take it to Samsung service center. (For I have tried to google it but I couldn't get a solution). I would also like to know if it is repairable, and about the cost, is it worth repairing or should I think of buying a new phone?
I am stranded.

Try this...
Hi everyone!
i have a galaxy tab 7.7, GT p6800. The original rom was virus infected and a factory reset would not fix this.
downloading any kind of anti virus would block the tablet completely, and it wouldn't respond until I hard resetted it.
Then i thougt of flashing the tablet, as all the tutorials on ODIN were very easy to follow, and it seemed like the only option to me, as it wouldn't factory reset either in the OS or in the recovery mode. ( I am a NOOB in this field of android, so i shouldn't have, I know. The problem is that it's a work project, and if I brick(ed) the tablet, i would be in some deep trouble)
The steps I took:
Download ODIN
download stock rom (not the original samsung one, because they didn't have it)
Boot tablet into download mode
flash stock rom with the PDA button.
I left all the options in ODIN as they were, didn't change anything as the instruction stated.
ODIN failed numerous times, so it booted up again. Then I downloaded a different rom( from KIES) and it flashed successfully this time, but when i wanted to start it up, it just showed a black screen. I can see it's turned on, but it doesn't do anything else. I can boot into download mode, but not into Recovery mode. So I can only boot into download mode, and for the rest it's not responding to anything!
Please somebody here help me, because i'm getting desperate now. Again, it's for my work project, and if it goes wrong, i am screwed beyond belief.
please note that i am completely new to rooting etcetera, and that English is not my native language. If i did anything wrong in this question or you need any more information, please let me know!

Wow...this was posted in 2016 and no responses? Uh oh...
I was searching for a similar issue. But I CAN boot into either download mode or it automatically boots to the CWM Recovery screen. Did you ever get your tablet usable again? What process did you use?
Inquiring minds want to know. and need to know.
Thanks,
Dave
