Go to settings -> sound settings -> uncheck haptic feedback at the bottom
Also in the same sound settings, uncheck audible touch tones.

hello everyone,
i have this problem and i really hope that there's a fix for it ... whenever i'm talking on the phone and while i'm talking i receive another call the phone vibrates while it's near my ear..and that's really annoying even the caller on the other side of the line gets annoyed with the sound of the vibration..
is there a fix or something so that whenever i have a 2nd call the phone only sounds a peep or something?
P.S : my ringing mode is vibrate and ring because usually i can't hear the ringtone while it's inside the cover and in my pocket

Hi there,
new HTC Sensaton arrived today - and I have problem with it. It vibrates very loud - it's even uncomfortable to use it in quiet places (vibrations when using buttons). When the back cover is off it's fine - it's perfectly quiet. When it's on - some part of back cover just vibrates, or something between the body and back cover cracks. I did some tests with foam tape inside - sometimes helps, sometimes not, also it's not what you want to do with a new phone.
Anybody else expecting this problem ? Is replacement the only solution ?
Thanks!

I don't have the Sensation yet, but you should be able to deactivate the haptic feedback without problems - just go to Settings -> Sound and disable "Haptic feedback". This won't affect incoming call or messaging vibrations, only the very annoying touch vibrations most Android phones come preconfigured with. If there are still other places that show haptic feedback, special settings in that specific application are typically to blame (like call dialer-feedback which has its own preference panel on most phones; keyboard vibration on some keypads which can be disabled under Settings -> Language & Keyboard).

I know that - but I do like vibrate feedback of touch operations. I use it now in Desire HD, and I want to keep it. Also I don't expect it to be a problem with every Sensation. I just hope that someone got same problem and managed to fix the hardware - using hammer or something like that.
Does anyone know how to turn off the vibration that happens during a call whenever I move my phone and when the call begins? For example I move the phone to or away from my face and it does a double vibrate.
I have ALL vibrate options under Call Settings disabled, including the one for vibrate on pickup, but it still happens and I can't find an option for this anywhere. I checked spare parts and the cyanogen menus in settings.
Help, it's been driving me nuts!
I've disabled haptic feedback in regular settings and also disabled it in cynogen settings? Does anyone know why it is still vibrating when I dial? Maybe there is another menu to disable?
Also, I cant seem to stop the phone from vibrating while ringing. Thanks
I'm not sure about the haptic feedback problem. The vibrate while ringing option is found under the Sound Menu in Settings. Did you toggle that?

Yea I don't see any "vibrate while ringing option" in settings/sounds.
Hello everyone, so here's my problem:
I start up the device and the vibrate mode is working as intended. No sounds, just vibration.
Now whenever I connect my BT headphones (Sony 1000xm2), play music and disconnect them again the notification sound is back, even in vibration or silent mode!
Switching between modes and back to vibrate doesn't help. Notifications are still loud, ringtones however are not.
For example: someone calls me and the phone vibrates, as intended, then I get the missed call notification and it's loud...
All the messages like whatsapp are loud as well.
Only thing that helps is rebooting, then it works until I listen to music via BT again.
Does anyone have an idea? I don't want to reboot after every time I listen to music...
This does not happen with my other BT devices, I think it might have to do with the headphones Google assistant functionality. I also get loud notifications on the headphones, even if phone is on silent...
I have the exact same issue, with a pair of Bose QC35, already posted it on the OnePlus forums, lets see if we get a fix...
I had the same problem, this is an issue with setting up your google account to notify your devices even in silent mode!
hold your home button and press the radar button, then press your profile on the top right > settings > assistant and at the bottom > phone and your headphones > go to the bottom > notifications > off
if you have multiple google accounts on your phone, do it for all of them
