In the message list, what is the orange clock symbol on a thread? I thought it meant a message was stuck but I see none in the list.

every rom i flash starting with glorious overdose, the text in the drop down menus is unreadable, it happens in the notification bar as well as the contacts search bar. when i press the notification or contact i can read them but when they are not highlighted they are unreadable. anyone know what is causing this?
I formatted my phone and this symbol came into picture.
In my notification bar, above signal, H icon stays with a stop symbol on it.
I have attached screen shot.
Please help it is irritating.
What ROM are you running? Is that stock? Is your data disabled?
When I receive a Hangouts/SMS message, I have the normal Hangouts Icon shown in the Status Bar. But I also have an odd icon that looks like a small black box, with a smaller white box with lines running through it.
Does anyone know why this icon shows up?
If I click it in Notifications, it takes me to the hangouts message.
I have recently added Xposed & Gravity Box. There's nothing in there that I have selected that would prompt this odd icon to appear though.

Mostly after closing an app but not only my notification bar text line (time, battery, connection) scrolls up until it is vanished and then scrolls down in again. No new text just the same notification bar text is being displayed then.
Does anybody have the same problem or an idea how to solve the problem?

I've tried three apps to record my notification history. Nothing is being registered when this icon appears.
