Hi guys,
Do you have any live wallpapers that you can recommend? Also I'm sure in one of the Transformer reviews I saw a live wallpaper (by Asus???) that was taking images from your folder and arranges them in collage style. Any ideas where I can get that one or something similar?

Type in 'collage wallpaper' into the market. There's loads of them.

Thanks,
I've already done that, and none fit what I'm looking for. And now I can't find the video where I saw it so I'll have to try and explain: it is a live wallpaper, images change randomly in a collage style. Not like a fixed wallpaper, if I wanted to, I can produce a collage of my images on my own.
It is still possible that I have missed an app from the market, so if you can give me a name or link to check out?
Cheers,
rio

All live wallpapers I've tried have made the homescreens lag so bad . Has anyone found any which don't?

How the heck do I set a correct 100% good looking authentic wallpaper? I've tried dual wide HD (2560x800) wallpapers, HD (2560x1600), (1280x800), and many other different combos, but I just don't understand how the Android wallpaper system works.
First of all, the "set as" function by the gallery is absolutely terrible. It only lets me select 40% of my picture and crops out the rest! WTF!
Next, i've tried alternatives such as the app "Wallpaper Set and Save" from the market, and sure it definitely looks a lot better, but it isn't able to do the perfect job either, the top and bottom of the pictures I have get cut off while the width surprisingly works well.
What is the correct way to get a good wallpaper on honeycomb!?

This will change how your TF uses wallpaper.
I was able to fill the screen to proper preportions a photo of my wife, then set it to not slide. My 5 screens flow by as the picture stays still.
This free app will help you do so much I think it's worth a shot.
Agreed, MultiPicture Live Wallpaper but please, next time do a SEARCH before you post. There are literally dozens of topics dedicated to this aspect already.
Please help keep the forum clean.
I've tried that app before, the thing is, I want my wallpaper to "pan" across the (3) homescreens I use, it's just that I want it to do so while having the correct aspect ratio. I don't want one static image for each homescreen.
u can use an app named Wallpaper Wizardii , U can find it in the market
well im not afraid to admit it but im super lazy atm and was wondering if anyone could post some video game wallpapers hd prefered also if theyd fit the size of the tablet itd be great you can either post pictures of them or a zip file containing them would be AWESOME.. and some abstract/random wallpapers would be good too please and thankyou in advance
Have you looked at Wallbase because they have a lot of everything including gaming wallpaper, you just have to know how to search for it.
I second that, wallbase is great.

If you are using the stock browser you can long press on an image and select "set as wallpaper". It will auto crop if necessary, the result is just as good as if you cropped manually or sometimes even better.

There is an app called MultiPicture Live Wallpaper and it will crop very little of your image and most of the image should show. It's very useful and a lot of the forum members here use it.
Rooted my Fire and installed CM7. I am trying to install wallpaper but i cant get the size figured out. When i go to set the jpg as the wallpaper it is making me draw a box around an area and the box is smaller than the jpg. The wallpapers that come with CM7 work and look great, but i cant figure out the size of the screen for wallpapers i want to make. Thanks
Something like 960x800 (default Zedge wallpapers size) worked for me.
Take a look on that pack.
Around 40 wallpapers from there, simply chosen by me.

I will give it a try
can you get the zedge app on the amazon app market?
Can't tell you, I'm on CM7.
Try simply search for "Zedge" or if you can't get it through Amazon, try to sideload it. Apk for you is right here.
The app is free, so nothing criminal, I think.
It looks like the wallpaper size is actually 1024x600
I'm having an issue installing wallpapers. I'm trying to pull them from my gallery but it keeps re-sizing.
Is there some trick to keeping the original size?

This appears to be the same problem i am having. The gallery is making me re-size the pic.
Same thing for me it forces me to resize and the quality turns to crap
No luck. I tried .jgp and .png files. Tried all kinds of different sizes and it still makes me crop it......
Have this problem with Gallery too.
Only option now for me is 960x800, at least looking not so low-res.
I tend to stick to very simple Live Wallpapers or none at all due to how fugly any image file tends to look
anyone come up with a solution to this problem yet?
this stupid problem ... I too annoying.
I just set wallpapers through PicSpeed Wallpapers. When it asks you to resize, pick the portrait box and it looks good

If you search google for a wallpaper that is 2048x1600 or something huge like that and use it on CM7 it works out looking great, at least it did for me.

Thanks, wallpapers with a resolution WHUXGA (7680 × 4800) really kicked ass this stupid error.

You can do this with WallBase. make sure whatever wallpapers you want(whether they be from your pc or downloaded on to your Kindle) are in the "saved" folder of the "WallBase" folder. You don't even have to resize it. It also keeps all the images high res.
I just put my order in for a TF700 (via newegg) and would like to start making wallpapers to use on it. I've read that you can't just take a 1920 x 1200 image and use that, because when you set up the new wallpaper it will get cropped and the quality will get reduced. Does anybody have a template for this or know how large the image should be? I have experience with Photoshop so resizing or editing won't be a problem.
Try Wallpaper Wizardrii app.
Thanks, I'll try that one. I've also heard that Multipicture Live Wallpaper works too. I just thought I'd see if there was anything I could do myself in Photoshop before the device gets here.

That seems like an interesting live wallpaper, I might want to look into that. I thought I saw something like that built into a Lenovo tablet at some point.
If you're using the default launcher, you need a 1920*1920 image for true native resolution in both landscape and portrait (the corners get cropped).
Hello all...
I'm looking for any solution for my "issue"... Actually, that's not an issue... it's just a goal in my S10+ homescreen setup.
I recently installed those amazing APKs of MIUI12 Super Live Wallpapers, they are really great!
My goal is that my device automatically changes the Live Wallpaper in a specific time of the day.
I know the walls are day/night mode sensitive, but there are bright and dark ones that do not respond to d/n trigger.
In addition, I ABSOLUTELY HATE LIGHT THEMES IN MY APPS. That is why I'd like my phone to change between installed Super Live Wallpapers APKs... I would love to use them in light and dark modes, according day/night hours, and keeping everything else in the phone in dark mode.
Can somone point me a solution?? Macrodroid? Tasker? I am not good with those... And Could not do it with Bixby Routine.
Really hopes someone can help me here!
Regards!

There are many wallpaper change applications that let you change wallpapers at specific time/intervals. One that you can start by in addition to already available "stock wallpaper picker" is an application called "Google Wallpaper." You can find it over here:
Code:

Since, I had tried many wallpaper utilities in the recent past when I was looking for the one that can change the wallpapers separately and at a specified time, here are a few that I finalized.:
1. Casualis:Auto wallpaper change
2. Daily Wallpapers - Auto Change Wallpapers
3. Changer - Wallpaper Manager
All these apps are available on Google Play Store. Maybe, you can find your best one.
