Nope! You have to use the bootloader.

I love it!! How hard would it be to change the fire-orangey color to a cyan color to match cyanogen 7's theme?

1.Make a nandroid back up so you can return back if you don't like.

6. flash from recovery.

Your more then welcome to use my scripts until you learn, just replace the apk with the new one. I usually use signpk.

I'm running the coredroid 4.9 rom and I get an error message. I know u said it would only work on standard rom. Figured I'd ask if you could tell me how to apply it.

Not sure but I don't think its the same method to use this froyo based lockscreen on gingerbread roms.
Aren't the scripts different because of the framework?

There are a few problems with this the update scripts from froyo are quite different from those for ginger bread.
The second problem is that the apk is from a non-themed rom, so you would loose the custom slider .
it is possible though.

That thread walks you through step-by-step. That's how I learned to do it. Only works with Sense 2.1 lockscreen

After a flash, HTC Sense kept FC'ing. Couldn't do much.

cool rom, seems great for kids; but to slow and buggy for me. I like the senseless roms=quicker.

seems fine to me.. except can't get gps to work? gps working for others?

[SplashScreen] HTC Beats by Dre Splash Screens!

Due to the recently announced partnership between HTC and Beats by Dre, I decided to create a few SplashScreens for you guys wishing to have an unofficial Beats By Dre HTC splashscreen!
How to install:
1. Download the PB31IMG.zip below for whichever bootscreen you want to install.
2. After the download is complete move the PB31IMG.zip file to the root of your sdcard.
3. Boot into the bootloader on your Incredible.

Thats odd that you seem to already have the modaco recovery running because of the little man in the background so my question is if you are already in modaco recovery why are you trying to reflash over it?

I'm trying to install a different ROM. That's the same screen I get everytime I enter the recovery mode and I don't know why :-( Any ideas???

You are sure its a full rom and not a update?
Also are you using install zip using sd card and not apply update ?
Your screen says installing update.. from what I see it looks one ofthose two things

I tried installing a full rom and nothing. Now I can't even get into recovery mode anymore. Should I just factory reset my phone and then just re-root and start that whole process over again??? Cause I'm at my wits end:-(
