Step 1: Go to Settings, Applications, and check download apps from unknown sources. This will enable you to download third party apps not found in Market. You can download all these apps from the Internet Browser directly on your phone.
I'd recommend getting a Dropbox account and downloading Dropbox & Astro File Manager/ES File Explorer (any other file manager should suffice) on your phones.
Here's my referral for Dropbox (You and I get extra space!):
https://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTkwNzUxMDk
When you download the apk's use dropbox to store the apk files in the cloud. You will use the file manager of your choice to direct Dropbox where the file is located. This helps with having to re-install apps and avoiding having to search for them again. Dropbox is handy for a grip of other uses such as storing your class papers, pictures, presentations, documents, resume, etc.

has anyone tried it? id like feed back lol
this isnt a joke, it really works
Why would you not just download the Dropbox app onto your phone? You can stream the music straight from the app without doing any of that. All you would have to do is have a folder called "Music" with either songs or other folders for albums.
Or just download the leaked Music.apk with Google Music and have all of your music on Google's "cloud".
I'm sorry, I just don't see the purpose of doing all of that.
Google's cloud service isn't running yet, even with the leaked app. And some people prefer to manage things themselves.

that was my thinking that these cloud services might not have the music they want or too much that they dont want. however im re-writing my post because downloading dropbox on ur phone will actually work and cut out the gmail crap and copying and pasting dropbox public links

I have been searching for an app for the last 3 days but couldn't find anything that fits:
Requirement:
*simple app for uploading and downloading (any, not only "office" files) to Google Docs, basically something like the Dropbox client but only for Google
* optional automatic sync over wifi
Am I really looking for something that does not (yet) exist?
Someone told me that an app with such functionality is unwanted by Google?!
Greets,
Georg
PS: Sorry if I post this in the wrong section, couldn't find a better one...
Tried Docs by Google?
Yes, I did. But there is no option to download files directly to my device. You can only upload and edit files as far as I know...
Sent from my MZ601 using Tapatalk
Some time ago I was using this one: https://market.android.com/details?id=art.wild.gdocs . It does what you want, I think. In addition it uses oauth and this is a big advantage for me, because I hate to enter my Google password into some apps.
Web browser?
You don't really need a specific app for every website on the internet.

How do you use docs on a computer?
dunno if you know this but desktop browsers offer a smoother interface than a mobile browser
Hello everyone,
First I apologize if this is not a proper thread for this post
I've been working on an app that brings MEGA cloud access to android devices. Initial version of the app I've created was one of the first apps on the google play store but, working on it alone and having in mind bad API documentation they provided it took me a while to make some progress.
Currently, there are plenty of apps that one can use to upload/download content to and from the cloud using your android device so I focused on automated synchronization.
Basically, app I've created lets you choose any directory on your cloud account and sync it to your phone, also you can sync any folder from your device to the cloud. There are options to choose weather you want to resync deleted files or files that changed in size and edit date.
Sadly I am not allowed to post links, in order to check the app out search for "MEGA Storage Manager" on google play.
If you have a suggestion, or find a bug, feel free to post it here or email me at [email protected].
Regards

Sounds interesting. Did anybody tried it already? Are there any restrictions (i.e. root, android version ...)?

Hello,
There are no special privilege level requirements, users with rooted devices can leverage the app to backup their titanium backup folders or whatever other use-cases people have...

Hi i am new in this forum i want to download video lectures from a app called robomate plus for my studies but i can't download them. it offers trial period of 4 days and it has a feature of downloading video but this app encrypts them in 30-40 parts so it's inaccessible from outside the app so i need a way to download videos. I have tried xposed one tap download too. I tried that in Bluestacks it's working but couldn't find a way to download is there any way? To download files from a app in Bluestacks?
