Just updated to 20140130 on my Nexus 4 and played around with the new navigation bar settings. I decided not to change anything and reset the navigation bar.
Now the navigation buttons (back, home, recent) show up on the lockscreen (slider ring) and they work! I can't see what I'm doing, but as soon as I unlock I can see that I went back, to the home screen or pulled up the recent list. This seems like a major issue to me as it essentially renders parts of the lockscreen useless.
Also, the navigation bar isn't transparent anymore on the home screen, but some kind of grey gradient (not even the standard solid black).
Thanks for all the good work up to this point!

Can anyone tell me if and how to change settings so icons appear on my home screen? None of approximately 11 installed apps did notshow up.
Hi. Recently i have installed the PX5 firmare from Mayalysk.
Everything runs perfect as it should.
The only think that is annoyning are the notification icons (download arrows etc) that apear rundom on the top of the Screen.
Is there anyway to make then disappear? I've searched evrywhere in the settings but i couldnt find anything.
That's not buttons. It's notifications, slide down from the top and remove them by swiping them left or right
I didnt mention buttons. I talk about icons. Notifications.
Sliding down the top of the screen shows the menu (Wifi, airplane mode, Brifgtness etc )and no the notifications...
I cant find a way to get rid of them.
Any application perhaps?
Monday evening I ran a system reseton my phone however before i ran the reset using only the OS and nova launcher when i rotated the screen the navigation buttons always vanished off to the side so in landscape mode the buttons didnt show unless you swipped in off the edge of the phone. Since resetting the phone it now constantly shows the google status bar along the top and the navigation bar on the side. how do i revert this setting to auto hide.
