figured it out, i just had to delete the .zip extension from the file

I have been experimenting with changing it green. Only problem is........... the circle has a green inside. What color would you want the inside circle to be?

CM7 Torch.apk

So While trying out a new ROM i thought it was missing something. A flashlight app. The best one i can think of would be the torch from CM7 & after doing some looking around i noticed some other people were thinking the same thing so to make things easier i thought id extract it and post it.

or my Atrix. Is there an app equivalent on the market? I really like the adjustable strobe feature.

FCs on Gingersense leak. I'd assume it will probably do so on all Sense ROMs. Disappointing, high brightness torch > htc flashlight app x10.

try DroidLight from the market. works great on my Atrix

It only works on some sense roms. If you are having trouble getting it to work or are getting force closes I recomend getting the Nexus Torch app off the market, I'm pretty sure u need root access for it though. Anyways thanks to all of u for trying it.

I installed Swype-Beta, but it nervs everday!! Everyday i must register it, because it says "Your Swype is not registered"..What hte F.... is this!?

I got swype and it works like a charm. It's not a beta build though

It works perfect on my O3D. The only thing is when I reboot I lose the registration license and need to run the installer again to renew the license. I hardly ever reboot my phone so it's no big deal for me.

Heres 3.1.6 it works great on my optimus . You need to replace Vending.apk in system/app because it wont install like a standard app ;( so rename the download to Vending.apk and copy it to the system/app folder and overwrite the old version then set these perms:

Works but...
Works for me just as good (or bad) as the 3.15. But I don't see any big changes after all those minor updates, and it is still not as fast and smooth as the very old market but at least it looks nicer.

I did, now I did it a second time and let it be for a few minutes. Works now

im going to make a update.zip for this so it runs a script to remove all traces of any other market versions.

I was an idiot....
The problem has solved. Becuse of /system/bin/Vending.odex
Works very fine now after delete that file

Solved all of my force close and performance issues with 3.1.5.
Here's a flash-able zip for anyone that would rather do it that way...
There has been some concern about the signing of this apk. I did not find this, only made it into a flashable zip.
Download at your own risk.
I have personally had zero issue with this market version and it has actually relieved all performance and force closes issues I had with previous versions

Works great on htc sensation.

If you want a Ginger MIUI try to find the miuiscotland_I997-2.4.17 have a great apps like the galnet video player, blacklist, data monitor, firewall and is 100% stable and fast. The original page is now down, but you can find with luck a copy of the ROM (I have 3 backups of the ROM just in case)
