Samsung Captivate Flashing Help?????‏ - General Questions and Answers

Hello
I am having the Unlocked SAMSUNG CAPTIVATE (SGH-I896) of Canada Rogers Network. I am using the same from last December, 2010. As now the firmware of my phone is crashed and it is not even going in DOWNLOAD MODE or in RECOVERY MODE, by which I can repair my crashed firmware and also now my phone is not working.
My request to you is that can you tell me that if you can FLASH my SAMSUNG CAPTIVATE (SGH-I896) with the ROM of the mobile if you have with you, otherwise I will provide the Original Firmware Backup which I am having with me. So please tell me whether you can upgrade the firm with the ROM you have or mine.
Please help me to solve my number, as I am from India, now I cannot send my mobile to Canada back.
Thanks

Samsung Galaxy O2 I9000ADJM1 Firmware

Hi. I hope you can help me. I have managed to screw up the firmware on my O2 based Samsung galaxy. I am desperately looking for a copy of the o2 firmware ( I9000ADJM1 ) to reflash the phone with to reset it completely but cannot find it but you appear to have found it or so it seems.
I have hunted on the internet in general and can find many version of the galaxy firmware but not this one. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get the O2 firmware to put into Odin and reflash my phone back to it's original state - rather than loose the phone for a week or more buy giving back to O2 to send to Samsung to try and fix?
Thanks
Max

I even deleted it before with root rights but after firmware upgrade all is back.
Now i have searched the web how to do it with Odin i have found very helpful friend who will help me do it but the quesiton is that not sure which files to use or can i do it or not.
here is my phone info:

CSC: i9000PLSJP3
Which is the new files i should use when i want to get rid of the branded phone and start using it normally and after factory reset i dont have some polish language on the phone again.

[Q] Galaxy s problem

Hi, I have a samsung galaxy s in the uk, that was originally on virgin , but when I bought it was new and unlocked. I wanted it to run on the network 3, however It wouldnt work when sim was inserted (it said data network not available when I attempted to call someone). Any other sim than 3 worked. I contacted customer support, and they wouldnt help in any way except from say that the firmware is incompatible. I have tried with odin and non of the firmwares seem to work. Please could you reccomend a uk 2.1 - 2.2 firmware that works with 3 mobile simcards.
Thanks,
Stanley
I have just tried with odin the firmware I9000NEJP5 however mayne I had a dodgy vesion because it said no com port or something and then failed. Please if anyone is with three and has there sgs to work please send me a link to the firmware. After trying many times it worked, however would stick on the boot screen displaying the galaxy s logo. Please is there anyone who can tell me their firmware vesion that works with h3g (three mobile uk).
Thanks again
Stanley

I have the same problem here in province of Quebec (Canada) and can't find the original firmware me neither. If anyone can help me please. Thanks in advance.
What's that?
I tried to call Samsung support center yesterday evening and I asked them where I can find the original firmware for canadian and american Galaxy I5510.
Can you imagine, even their employees can't find the firmware in the samsung's database. That's a joke or what? I guess that the customers in in North America are nothing for them. All the firmware I found are for Asia and Europe. And not only in forum or somewhere else. In their own canadian website.
Anyway. I bought that phone in june and since then I always got problem with. Problem installing apps with the Market, screen unlocking trouble, lack of memory and more.
That was my second and last Samsung phone. HTC here I come. This afternoon.

While flashing my Samsung S3 from Windmobile, I didn't make copy of EFS folder, so I lost my IMEI number. I have been reading how to restore it, but nothing helps. The last resort is to flash the stock version of the firmware. However, all the link are dead, I have looked every where.
If somebody has it, please upload it. I really need to fix this.
My phone is Samsung S3 from wind mobile (Canada) - SGH-T999V
The firmware I am looking for is May 2012 Factory Stock: SGH-T999V_GLW_T999VVLALE6_T999VYVLALE6
Please help. Happy New year.
