Actually, i'm on paysrom 5.1 sbf 3.4.3-11. Can i downgrade in 3.4.2-xx for install your rom ? I've installed 2ndbootinit. Or can i flash bootonly 3.4.2-xx and install rom after?

my rom is based on 3.4.2_177-005, therefore you must install sbf first!
After installing the Defyclean.zip. I reboot the phone and I don't see to select Sony Ericsson as default launcher. It kept prompting me to complete action using home or setup.

very strange! in this rom the calendar I have not touched, I left the default: blurcalendar.apk / blurcalendarprovider.apk.....
you can prove it to add the calendar and calendarprovider aosp 2.2.1 ( without deleting the default ones) >>> here

because on rootexplorer, when you open it, at top right corner of the display, you put "R/O", you modify the system added new apps, repair permission, and reboot!

++ When you enter on first time, on market,have force close. no problem! close and restart the market, because at 2nd time work the new market, put in data/app!
pretty nice ROM you got there...the GO team has been churning out pretty cool stuffs, and it's nice to see someone appreciating it instead of using launcher pro all the time

its simple:
click on first touch on the left of display, then click "preferences" and you enter in settings about go.launhcer.ex, click on change theme....and you decide what theme you like, or click on default theme!!

To remove some apps i just have to remove them frmo /system/app ? (facebook, busybox installer, camera 360, car home, task manager (stock), gtalk, milestone overclock (i use only setvsel), tasks (i use astrid))

when you have flash this rom, after you can flash the fin deblur 2.2.1, and uk 3.4.311 without problems! this i try me personal, with oter rom i dont know! sure i dont come back at eclair rom!

The original animation is cool, but it's a little tiresome after some hours playing with the phone.

yes, you can change the folder anim , in the framework-res.apk, drawable, use 7zip
or flash another theme if for you its most simple!
Hmm I still really like this rom and I want to keep using it but the camcorder seems to have become dysfunctional...the camera also wasn't working but I was able to fix it by force closing it and then clearing data.....this didn't fix the camcorder tho
..as soon as I click the camcorder app or launch from camera the screen turns black.
My camera is ok, take 12 photos today with this rom, and recorded 2 videos of 1min~

I got this too, sorted after default recovery wipe.
Sorry I was able to fix my camera problem, turns out it was due to flashing the 720p update zip from somewhere in this dev forum. I fixed it by flashing the system file of the Cee Go Nandroid. Yay
In other news... I am fully able to download and install apps from the market using this rom... Looks as if the shoe is on the other foot.
Maybe something you guys did besides installing this rom?

i am having problems trying to flash the motorola defy. before i flash it with the rsdlite and the official rom i first rooted the phone with superoneclick. then i tried to flash with rsdlite and it seems that it can't be flashed with the following error ''unable to retrive initialization values from INI file. (0x7029); phone connected'' can anyone help me on this?? does anyone knows anything about this?? i want to flash any rom that includes Greek language.

Two Times EFS Backup process for more safety.
First Backup Location : /Sdcard/Backup/efs
Second Backup Location : /Sdcard/amestris/backup/efs
Don't Share EFS folder with anyone, the efs folder contains your private phone data, such as IMEI, Model,,,
after installation move this backup folder to safe place and remove this backups after!
Personal Data Backup Process [ optional ]
Previous Messages Backup Process
Your previous message data will backup to:
/sdcard/amestris/backup/com.android.providers.telephony/mmssms.db
*the restore process must do it manually, use root explorer, and copy the mmssms.db into below location
/dbdata/databases//com.android.providers.telephony/mmssms.db
Previous APN Configuration Backup:
if your apn is set correctly , skip this step!
Your previous APN Settings data will backup to:
/sdcard/amestris/backup/com.android.providers.telephony/telephony.db

these will obviously not work since the apk's requires some changes in the framework-res.apk so.... someone has to make the necessary changes otherwise it wont work.

which version?? more details might help.

I have stock 2.3.6 XXKPQ with UtterChaos v09 #2009,CWM Touch the newest version and thats all. I press the home button but I have only this things, I download from Play Store(MagicLocker, ICS Launcher and Touch Wizz)and I don't have apps from this thread in App List

Does not work....
i downloaded the file from link u have posted and put it in external sd card,boot into recovery,then install update from sd card,when install is complete i rebooted my phone through cwm,bt it does not work even i tried home button to select xperia s launcher bt there is no option of it,,me using amit"s cf root...

Install Zip from sd card not update.. Clear caches..and reboot..
might help..

I hope u followed these steps..
put in root of ur sd..cwm.. install zip from sd..choose and install...
clear both caches..or extract from zip..the home.apk.. put it in system/apps using root explorer and set permission as rrr-w...
and reboot..dont do anything with tw launcher..leave it as it is.
try hope it works.
i hope deodexed or odexed isnt an issue...

+1. I'm not saying It's a bad Rom, but why would I want to use it instead of, say Trickdroidk, apart of the azerty keyboard which I don't need? If that's the only reason you should rather make an update zip with that keyboard. No offence, really, It's just that there has come so many similar roms here

This ROM is 1.78, TrickDroid is on 1.70 as of his 3.1 build. So this is newer with the updated Battery Fixes that HTC did for the 1.78 Build. Plus he included the AZerty Keyboard that a lot of people in EU have been wanting, Just another flavor and option for the people out there! The more the merrier in my opinion, Most of the ROMS we have right now are all kangs of the "Virtuous ROM" series anyway. So might as well let people just run with it.

Very easy how-to, if people are missing stuff in this ROM, but want to flash it anyway:
1. Download any 1.78 based complete deodexed stock ROM (like Modaco)
2. Extract that ROM
3. Insert all missing apk`s in system/app folder (as long as they belong there...) of this ROM.zip and flash
Now you have your customized Light Speed version

Just miss the Advanced Power Menu and it will be perfect
So we can reboot in recovey with rom manager software !
Edit : doesn't works with root explorer, I have flash zip using the 1%battery zip of he_stheone64, just add teeter in zip, in system app and flash in recovery !
