why am i getting a low battery life on my phone after flashing custom roms? i tried a few roms, and even though the phone is much faster and smoother, the battery life shrinked.
i was told that a custom rom will improve my battery life...
is there any rom that fits my need for battery? or maybe an adjustment i can make so the battery life will improve with the current available roms?

Is it necessary to change something in the build.prop or in another file?

I have a Verizon Galaxy S3 with a ZeroLemon extended battery (which I highly recommend), and I'm looking for something to track my battery life thats a bit better than the stock battery monitor. I don't care about or need anything to optimize my battery life (between Pimp My ROM tweaks and the extended battery it doesn't matter), but I want to get a good idea of what is draining my battery and things like that.
I'm going to look in the play store, but I want some recommendations from XDA.
