[Q] How to restore back to Android 2.3.2? - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
I manually updated my Nexus S (Non-rooted) to Android 2.3.3 yesterday since I did not receive OTA update as yet. But after the update my battery has started draining and it can't last full charge for a day. After Googling this issue - it seems there is a bug with the latest update (2.3.3).
So, my question is how do I go back to Android 2.3.2? Please try to provide detail instructions, if possible, as I am not a developer.
Thank you!!

Should I update to 2.3.2?

After reading the few issues people were having when they updated their NS, I just upgraded from the Vibrant today and was wondering if I should update to 2.3.2 or should I just wait until 2.3.3? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks everyone.
If the update to 2.3.3 works in the same way as previous updates then you will need to install the 2.3.2 update before you get offered the 2.3.3 update.
2.3.3 is out as of today.

[Q] Stock at 2.3.2

Hi all,
i decided to leave ICS and go back to GB 2.3.6. So I unroot Nexus installing 2.3.1. Aaand whats happend? There is no OTA to 2.3.6 (I was thinking that Google should share that one since they stoped ICS update). Ok, so I install 2.3.2 (GRH78C), then try to install 2.3.3 (GRI40). But it cant be done! Why? Anyone knows? How can I direct install stock 2.3.6. To addition: Ive got 2.3.2, 2.3.3, 2.3.4 and 2.3.6 on my PC.
Check this thread, it has the full ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1063664

[Q] Nexus s update

Hello!
are new to the forum, and I had a request for help and clarification from you.
I recently purchased the nexus as if originally fitted Android 2.3.3, so far I have not received any OTA update it to 2.3.4 above it ... how can I do to solve this problem?
I can go to 4.0.3 without going first to the previous ones??
look forward to your responses on!!
There is a stickied thread in general that has the links to all of the updates for the NS. Go to your specific phone model and download either the update (2.3.3 -> 4.0.3 or similar) or a full rom which can be flashed at any stage.

[Q] Nexus 5 how to remove the Root, and update to 5.1 ?

Hello friends,
I have bought a Nexus 5 with the 5.0 lollipo version and got the update message for 5.1 yesterday. I downloaded and started the update and it gave me an error. While checking it it says that my phone is Rooted? And thats a very bad thing. I want to set it to factory default and unroot it then update to newest version.
Please can anyone tell me how to remove all the root and set it to default normal original android version then update legally?
I would appreciate if someone would help me and suggest me something.
I know its not good to suggest me custom android versions for my nexus but how can i know whichones posted here custom ones are good and which not?
Im just a newbie and would need help if possible to explain me about it.

If your phone is rooted and you have the SuperSU app, you can un-root from within the app. If you don't have the app you can get it from Google Play.
Thanks guys,
Can anyone suggest me whichone of the custom roms will be good for me and stable?
Why update with 5.1 ota if you're going to install a custom ROM?
