Help! My O2 XDA Touch Pro is completly dead!

Hello,
i have a brand new o2 XDA Touch pro. After trying (unsuccessfully) to remove the CID to flash the original HTC Firmware (the O2 Firmware was lame), the XDA went off and is completly dead now. The last thing I was able to see was a strange display behaing (some strange look and fading off).
The phone does not react on pressing the Power-On Button! No reaction!
Can anyone help me or has anyone a hint how to hard-reset the device?!
So far I remember there was a trick by removing the battery for about 24 hours (this worked for my older xda mini s phone). May this work for this phone, too?

Did you try the old tric to remove the battery and then put it back in? When you do the Hard-SPL it would remove the CID lock. It would seem to go dead and unresponsive as happened with mine. I just removed the battery and put it back in and it powered up fine. Checked the tri-colour boot screen to make sure it was done. It is in the thread for flashing your first ROM.

I already tried removing the battery. Yesterday I tried for about an our and completly off power (no USB Power or PC connected). Still no reaction after trying to power on with battery plugged.
I'll give it another try in about a few hours after leaving the phone powered off about 12 hours. So far the phone seems completly dead! I would be glad even to see any light / display going on with try-color mode, but anything keeps powered off after battery connected and giving the power-on button a try.

UPDATE:
Phone still completly dead / no-power on possible after 12 hours power-off / no battery!
Tried several key-combinations for soft+/hard reset with battery and/or USB-Power even with plugging in while pressing the keys including power-on. NO Reaction
How can this be??? May it only be possible to send it in to O2?
I was unable to complete any CID unlock / HTC Firmware update on the O2 device. They stuck always on 0% or failed before this step and until that time the phone always rebooted into WM6 after battery removal. So I don't think O2 could blame me for doing anything wrong... and I don't understand why there is not even Power for Bootloader mode possible. I don't think that any software could harm the hardware in such a way that not even power-on is possible??!
Any ideas of developers to reanimate the phone? I will try keep power of for a few days now until I go to O2 with the phone...last try. For a XDA Mini S i owned once (that phone has been unlocked too), this worked once it had a similar failure... maybe I have luck in 2-3 days with my TouchPro phone.

I am thinking that you may really need to send it in to O2. Might be your best bet, let's hope some one more ducarted than I am chimes in.

I've BRICKED my device
All of a sudden, when the device was connected to the charger and was in standby, I tried to power it up....and it wouldnt turn on. I pulled the charger cable out....the LED was still glowing. I pulled the battery and put it back in.....and that was it. Completely dead....no response
Plugging in the power, switching batteries (fully charged), pressing all buttons, hard reset/emergency mode key combos, punching the reset hole a million times, pulling the batteries in/out with the charger in/out....all sorts of crap tried. Even the power LED doesn't glow when the charger is connected. NO sign of life from the PDA in ANY form. Completely dead = paper weight. Also tried holding the power button for over a minute or two...nothing happens. Also tried using Mirage and pluggin it in....doesn't detect anything.
Now I need some help guys -
1. My i780 is just 2 weeks old. Will my warranty be void if Samsung finds some other rom? If so, how do they process this? Can they fix and I pay for support?
2. If the device doesn't power up, they anyway cant figure what rom's in there...so i should technically qualify for a replacement....am i right?
3. Anyone here have bricked and dealt with samsung service? your experience?
4. Any other ideas on what i could do to unbrick?

I guess mine's a total brick here....looks more like a hardware failure. I plug the charger in, the LED doesn't glow....nothing happens no matter what i do. Its just a dead chunk of plastic at the moment. Guess its going back to the service center.
You'll be happy about this though.......i'm back on my trusty universal once again! It still is simply the best device out there! Only gripe is that it runs on just 64megs ram.

after i try to update my win 6.1 orange rom pbvic2, the mirage got stuck at 13% and after that my phone won`t boot, get stuck at first logo, i try another roms but without success, plssssss help me

Can't get into download mode

First I want to say I love this forum.
I believe I have a unique problem. I searched around on forum and couldn't find my issue.
My infuse is completely unmodified, I haven't rooted or flashed any roms. My phone suddenly restarted today and now it just keeps flashing the "SAMSUNG" logo on the screen over and over every 2 seconds. I tried putting it into download mode but the problem is once I put the battery, it automatically turns on ... So theres no time for me to do the sequence. I'm not sure how else I can get it into download mode. I have all the odin software and stock roms from the other threads.
Any help would be greatly appreciate. Thanks for help in advance.

Have you tried holding both volume buttons as the power cord is inserted? Lol sorry i had to laugh at myself.

Alright, its been a while since I've troubleshot on stock but, here goes. If you can't get download mode,(Pull battery, reinsert, hold both VOL +/- while plugging in USB) try this first:
Make sure the device is off.
Power it up and repeatedly tap the far left soft key until the phone boots.(now i'm not 100% sure, but I think the ATT bootanimation has to show up first before tapping, but trying won't hurt)
If that doesn't work you could try a hard reset: (Warning, this WILL erase all data)

Hopefully you have already fixed the problem by now, but one other thing to consider is the possibility that the USB port is messed up. This can happen pretty easily on these phones if you use a USB cable other than the one that came with it. It is possible for the phone to get confused and think that there is a cable plugged in even when there isn't. I have this problem with one of my Infuses and it causes the exact same symptoms you have described. I usually just plug in the original cable and wiggle it around a little, then unplug it and try it again.
In my case the problem started when I unknowingly plugged a Logitech USB cable covered in mustard into my phone. Don't ask how it got there because I sure as heck don't know. All I can say is I now keep my cables away from my three year old.

I tried all those suggestions and it didnt work, please keep in mind that once I put my battery in it AUTOMATICALLY turns my phone on. Theres no way for me to have it off with the battery in. So I cant hold the buttons down while its off and then plug it in. Or do recovery mode or anything. I am using the cable that came with the phone.
Also, all it does is the samsung logo comes on the screen for 2 secs then goes off for 2 secs and that process repeats for eternity... When I plug it in the battery charge meter starts to come up and then the screen goes black, and then that repeats the same way ...
Before you guys suggest to take it back to AT&T i already did. They said it needed to be reflashed ... So they tried, and told me that they couldn't even do it because it was messed up so bad. And they said they couldn't replace it because I have a small crack in my screen EVEN THOUGH he told me that he knows that isnt related to the problem! Are you kidding me? Great way to treat loyal customers ... AT&T are cheap bastards.

Try these steps.
1. switch off the phone.
2. remove the battery.
3. connect the phone to computer (without battery)
4. press both volume up and down buttons.
5. put the battery and wait to open in download mode.

Yeah I have the same problem, and it is my first and only att phone without an upgrade till 2013. If you figure out how to fix it please tell me.

I'm facing the same problem
had u got any solution for dis one...

My sister had the exact same problem with her phone.
take battery out. insert USB cable, hold both Vol Up/Down, insert battery.
If not use a USB Jig

The power button should make a distinctive clicking sound when pressed. Are you getting that sound?

Yes it makes clicking sound when I press. Is JIG is the only option left ?

Just a quick review of download mode: Pull battery.
Connect USB to phone from a known working USB port on computer. (Infuse drivers installed.)
While continuing to hold down both volume up and volume down (no power button),
insert battery.
Should see download mode screen after 2-4 seconds.
If no, a jig is the least expensive option at around $2. You can also send it to a repair service, think I read that is around $50.00. Good luck.

even tho it look fine, you should attempt to clean it..mebby a electronic cleaning solution

HTC Sensation wont turn on? HELP

My mom currently using my HTC Sensation, she told me there was something that said reboot, so i was guessing that it was on recovery or bootloader. So she REBOOTED it :O
now the phone wont turn on. Ive tried pulling the battery out then putting in back in and of course turning it on. but no luck still. i changed the battery to a fully charged one, still no luck. i cant access the bootloader or recovery either.
everytime i try to press the power button, the screen lights up a little then turns back to black. it looks like its out of battery but its not if you know what i mean.
if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it.

Did you try while the phone is plugged in charger ??

I also have the HTC Sensation and got this problem after mixing up unlocking. Basically I know that the battery is ok and that the screen is also ok. There should probably be some physical button to press in order to restore firmware but Iḿ not sure on that. Im offer $10 to whomever can assist me/us in this problem...

[Q] Samsung Infuse 4G Rogers constantly restarting

Hello XDA community,
I installed a cm10.1 rom on my brothers Samsung Infuse 4G Rogers phone. It was working fine no problem and today, he shut off the data at work and now the phone constantly restarts. I tried different cables, different key combinations, pulled the battery for an hour and still nothing. The device does not connect long enough to the computer to even install drivers. Is there anything else that I can do? Or is the device pretty much a paper weight? I did research on XDA, Google and all the research that I could find led me to an unresolved thread or they sent the device back to samsung. Obviously it is out of Samsung warranty.
Am I missing something XDA? Please any and all help will be appreciated.

Sounds to me like a stucked power button..
This little test should say for sure:
Insert the battery and if it turns on automatically, it's the button.

Yeah, I guess I would have to take apart the phone and go from there?

That's practicaly it..
There's a thread around that shows some possible home-fixes before sending it for repair. It should pop up after a quick search
You could try cleaning the contacts or maybe soldering it back if you think you have the skills.
