Need a way for advanced hardbutton remap, badly. - General Questions and Answers

I am searching for hardbutton remaper that can map "alt" key. not alt+sth, just alt key.
Generally i am searching for tool, that can set, and send any keycode to working program, is there something like this?
AEButton cannot help, what else can i try?
It's very important, so please, post sth.

How about ButtonRemapper?

Thank you for your reply..i was not using q&a subforum for so long, that i forgot we have other than winmo platforms' users here too...
Specifically, i needed winmo software, actually i'm checking AEKMap with some success.
..unless i figure out how to port this properly it must suit my needs.

Any ideas how to lock device by holding red hangup button?

I'm talking about holding down the cancel call red button to trigger the keylock/device lock.
I really liked this feature on my windows smartphone. But now with windows mobile on pocketpc, there isn't anything like that... Anyone have any ideas/info on how to do this?
Thanks,
Sorry if this was covered before. I tried searching but didn't find anything..
I'm not sure about how to do it than way, but you can go in to Start-->Settings-->Buttons and assign one of your other hardware buttons to lock your device.
Good idea. If you can't find another way, consider something like AE Button Plus to allow you to assign a long click to an app, and then assign it to a device lock app like VJDeviceLock.
Theoretically...

Communication Manager

Hi all,
Maybe someone can help me with communication manager. The version i have is 2.2 and i have only 4 buttons displayed: data connection\bluetooth\wifi\phone and of course flight mode. My phone (x500) has gps and radio. Is there a setting to tweak to show the extra buttons, FM tuner and GPS? This is a pic of what i would like to show for my rom.

[solved] IGO8: strange chacter in address search

I've reinstalled Igo8 after flashing a 6.5 rom.
Now whatever i do (skin, reinstall, "save" folder erase) i have this strange A (something like an A with a ° on top, something like this
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
) that's always the first char in the address input. So it f**ks up every search.
Anyone seen something like this?
Ok it's something strange: if i go to global search this char is repeated. As if there was something periodically generating it.
update:
two solutions
1st by Panni read HERE
2nd by pcarvalho: updated his rom, the problem was generated by ezinput
