hi,
I am desperatly searching for a bluetooth app. A couple days ago I stumbled over a cool video where the app is presented on a galaxy tab:
By an incoming call, bluetooth is activated for the headphone, and after the call again disabled.
please, if somebody knows the name of the app....?
thx

Did you try "ultimate-voice-recorder"
I was using one good software called "vrecord" which vanished after root, and I'm not able to find it anywhere now
On my N1, I used vrecorder and when I had the phone call on speaker phone it recorded fine. The widget worked well. Vrecorder does not show up in the market for me with the NS. Anyone know a good app to use? Everything I tried does not work.
Anyone?

vrecorder must be a protected app. It should show once Google fixes the Market to recognize our phones.
Meanwhile, if you're rooted, there are ways to change the build.prop file to make them show for you. I'll leave that for other threads, where it's well explained and easily found with the search.
I don't have a specific app recommendation for you, though.
Vrecorder shows up in the market now. It doesn't record calls good though. I think the Nexus One recorder calls better while on speaker phone because there was a second Michael near the speaker. While on speaker phone with the Nexus S and recording, you can't hear the other end when you play the recording.

Google Voice... Press 4 During a Call to Start / End =)
Then you can find them in recordings online or via the app.
Enjoy!

Been wondering about that via Google Voice.
After reading more info about it. Looks like any calls initiated by you can't be recorded.

Yeah... that's the only way to use the feature... Maybe if you do the call back option as well without the app. I do know it works well... used if for skits and such... =)

One-way recording
Before, when I was using Galaxy S, it was possible to record during a call.
But it was only possible one-way recording, that means, only my voice.
Now, with my Nexus S, it is not possible to record at all during a call.
There is no sound.
Anyone know my?
Using app "Voice recorder" and "Note everything"
Hi,
I had posted this in a more generic Android forum not specific to Transformer.
Couldn't get any recommendation there. So I just would like to ask here as well:
I am looking for a widget app which can enable bluetooth audio streaming with just one click.
Actually, it should be configured to connect to a specific audio device when the widget is clicked.
Is there such software ? Or any simple method to do this ?
I am using ADW Ex launcher and it has some activity selection but bluetooth connection is not one of them.
I've found what I was looking for by the help of another XDA member.
It is called "Bluetooth profile widget" and available at market since 25.09.2011 (that's 2 days ago )
Do you have a link?? Can't find it in the market.....

Okeej, thnx! Weird the search function didn't find it.....
I live in India so I don't have voice mail on my mobile like carrier. I would like an app like the Symbian Advanced call manager which after some time of not picking up the phone plays a recorded message and records the message the other person has given. Like an Answer machine. Free apps are preferred.
Thanks

i don't think there is one mate..... the old symbian Nokias did...
that was because they were able to send sound directly to the caller ... i dunno if its a hardware limitation ... i really hope someone can figure that out... :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
Afaik it is not available on android, there is some limitation on Android for this.
If i missing one and only thing from my Nokia then this is same.
Even i have used interactive voice call Master, the best and most configurable call manager.

I always used to believe Android is open source and there are no limitations but this thing falsified all assumption.
I badly miss it.
Yeah... I was thinking If We have a answering call app kicking in when We rejected a call. So the app takes over with a greeting message and records the callers message into the memory card?
Nope? Nothing of that sort?

I too tried to work my work using tasker
But the problem is the phone calls are played from a different channel, and media content like ringtone and notification are played through different channel

The only Symbian feature that I miss
Sorry to bump into this really old thread but recently Google implemented AI calling and Xiaomi too which not just plays a recorded message to the caller, instead it actually 'talks' to the caller based on the input we give which makes me wonder if this is possible via an app now
I know this has been asked before, but is there anywhere (or any way) to get TTS voices like GLaDOS, HAL 9000, Cortana, Morgan Freeman, Alan Rickman, etc...? I have been checking out using Tasker to set up a sort of voice assistant for while I'm in my car and connected to Bluetooth, but I don't really like the normal voice. I have checked out IVONA, but the voices it sorts are very basic.
Is there anywhere, even with hacks, to get "special" voices for TTS?
