Weather On WM6

Well now that i have WM6 "the real thing" i no longer had the weather from pocket weather that i once had. Is there a good weather program for WM6 because i can no longer find pocket weather where i got it from and would like a weather today item.

Best Place To Go For All Applications, Games And Video Is www.ppcwarez.org if your looking for weather go under search and type that in. Hope that helps. There all kinds of weather apps on that website.

There's WeatherPanel. Its basically free (the developer has stopped working on it and in their forums you can get a patch (or something, don't remember how that worked now) where it will continue to work.

Not a bad app, but I paid for PocketWeather so I continue to use that.

You can go to the sbsh.net site to recover your reg key and then go to their forums to re-download the software. When my computer crashed awhile back, I lost my Word document that had all my reg keys. I sent my registration key request through the sbsh.net site and had an email with it in less than 5 minutes.

There's WeatherPanel. Its basically free (the developer has stopped working on it and in their forums you can get a patch (or something, don't remember how that worked now) where it will continue to work.

Does this program drain the battery a lot. I turned have it to auto update every 6 hours but still huge battery drain.. anybody else have this problem.. just wondering

I think it's a good idea that we DON'T promote the use of that site. I've used it before to get workarounds for programs I've bought, but never to rip anything off. JMHO and not being accusatory.

Ive been using wether panel for lil more than a year now, right now its on xplore 1.1, with a 15 min update interval, (update multiplier) u get fluid radar displays that way. My battery lasts for atleast 1 and half day with regular phone and some wifi use. This is the most functional and completely custoimizable(everything from icons to themes to display proportions) weather program ive used.

Nice & quick ROM. Few problems though...
1. battery drains quickly
2. serious mem leak
3. threaded sms is fine, except for the one on top - can see the latest received or send message in preveiw, but thread seems to be empty?!

That sounds great!
After flashing, battery drained in 20 minutes from 90 percent to 69 percent. No Wifi, GPRS, or other battery-drainers. Just configuring after installation. Will see the next few days, maybe it's getting better.

v50 had good battery lifetime and no bugs of what i've seen. i've just flashed v51, i'll see how it works

Can u check if selecting multiple messages in Messaging is fixed in v51?
You can't select multiple messages in v49, so I didn't bother with v50. And also the left softkey in Messaging defaults to Reply, I like Delete better.

Used the Blue Elves Rom for the last 5 weeks, but did not like the LG menu and missed some other minor things.
Updated to V50 yesterday and love it
Have the same "issue's" as @cid, can't select multiple items and left softbutton is delete.
Pwr consumption is oké, used 18% during the night, GPRS on and email check every 30 min.
Looking forward to V51

Hi Pham. Can you guide me how did you get the multiple selection working in this ROM? I have a source and I ported last night but got back since I could not do multi selection. Earlier I used to replace the tmail.exe from 19591 builds

a bug in v51, don't think this was in v50. i recieve 5 messages from someone Name (5) and when i enter to read the messages, the screen is blank, maybe the text is in white or something i don't know. anybody having some problem?

Best screen/button lock program

I am looking for a program to lock the touch screen and buttons, without affecting any running programs or the ability to see the display. I was happily using SensorLock, but it suddenly stopped locking and no amount of removing and reinstalling will make it work. Is there something like SensorLock out there that works?

S2U2 got some minor bugs.
e.g. when the phone is locked in S2U2, if someone calls you and hangs up in a short time, for example 1-2 seconds, the phone will hang and have to soft reset. i experienced this several times. might be due to the 3secs lag that's normal in touch pro phones, but if you get this with your touch pro, the combination will hang if someone calls and hang up.
im using throttlelock for now.

I tried S2U2, but it used a "screen saver" image. I need to be able to lock the keys with TomTom or SlingPlayer running and continue to see the program screen as it updates.

Pocket Shield is currently my favorite. Have tried a few others but I like this the best.

Thanks, but I don't see anything on PocketShield's site that indicates that I can run PS while TomTom is running and still see/hear the nav screen/voice.

throttlelock is pretty cool
and on top of that i use answerkeys disabler for when there are incoming calls
sensorlock messed up for me and pocketshield never really worked properly

I've actually managed to get my preferred locking program, SensorLock, working again. I found the settings tab reenabled the locking! As my Brit mates say, works a charm!

What did u do? Mine seems to mess up on incoming calls too often...

Settings>All Settings>Personal>SensorLock There are controls for call behavior.

No need for hard reset, it happened to me and all you need to do is install the app again and disable the ppsp in the application options and then uninstall.. it stops using the app skin and returns to the default HTC phone skin. (=

I have touchlockpro. Decreases this the battery time?

I tried almost all possible lock programs:
s2u2 - interface looks great - but truly it performed poorly in answering calls
sensorlock - i almost dropped my phone while rotating - LOL!!!!
pocketshield - used it longer - at least 3 weeks - main problem is that it goes to lock mode during a call and I have to unlock it everytime to enter a pin etc
throttlelock - for some reason couldnt install it
finally, i installed touchlockpro - i like this one - i like this so far...... haven't figured out battery drain part......

Hi. I use the Throttle lock, and it makes the incoming call pictures full screen. its pretty nice.

is safe i mean sometimes doesn't get stuck or someting ? im scare to lock the phone and have to do a hard reset lol

Maybe you may use software "PocketShield" (more info you may find here). This software is very good for complete locking solution. I use it and I'm satisfied with it. But it isn't free. But when you create new skin for this software you may win a licence.

I try S2U2 and i don't know if i did something wrong , but my phone was blinking every 10 secs non stop ... and with the wallpapers i try to change them and i could not doit ..

What I did was turn off every function of S2U2. Then went back and changed my background pic for it, TURNED ON SLIDE TO ANSWER (full screen), added weather to the bottom corner and Voila! It worked. Just spend the 10 min or so setting it up correctly for yourself the 1st time and you'll be pleased I'm sure. Just give it another try.

I would love to have this as an app! It would look so awesome

ok I have throttle lock on my phone, it is bad ass!!! Yes it makes the contact full screen. Check it out, i guarantee you will like it

Hi guys i install the vs 2.41 , i just can see the pic on the middle is not full screen and is can of blurry shady pic what is that ?

I can see how this can be really useful. Is it possible to make it automatically activate when the phone is set to silent mode? This way when the phone is set to vibrate or sound it not light up?

Thanks for letting us XDA members have this for FREE.......really appreciate it dude! This is one of the best features on my EVO!! Every time I'm in the club or somewhere I can't hear my phone, this is ALWAYS a life saver!! PLUS is a great way to piss off iPhone users....they're like, what's that.....AND I just laugh because they're totally clueless..hahahahaha.....THANKS again dude!!

I totally agree!
Actually I believe the best feature (in my case) would be to allow the LED to flash every xx seconds. So when my GS2 lies on the table and when I have unread SMS / mail / voice message or a missed call it can remind me to check it!
Perfect settings would allow to set the flash rate (like .-.-.-. or .-.) and the timing for the reminder in seconds (blink every xx seconds).
Anyway that's a great app and a great job!

Would need a time limit too so you could have blink [whatever pattern] every X seconds for Y minutes. Oh and if possible, create different blink patterns for different types of notifications

Works fine with Desire and ReflexS ROM

Has anyone encountered a bug that stops your HD2 from charging when this application has been triggered?
I have actually had to disable the app due to this issue. My battery was warm at the time so I will test again tonight.
The orange LED would go out, although android recognised USB was plugged in it refused to charge until I unplugged the cable and put it back in.

I know it has been mentioned in the various threads already, but it could REALLY use an interval setting. Like one flash every minute or something. Personally, if I am there to see the flash in the first place, I knew the phone rang anyway. It's when I wasn't there for the ring, is when it would be very handy to have it flash every few minutes. My phone sits face down in a holster so, I really can use an app like that.
